You can still hear background noises. However I do believe that they are the best choice in this price range.

Phenomenal picture -colors pop!

The depth of the colors was far superior to anything else I saw. TVs with a similar pixel count did not paled in comparison to this OLED. I love the remote which works like a pointer by aiming at the screen and clicking OK. My one disappointment is the Harmon Kardon sound bar not producing the the fuller sound of the tv it replaced.
