Fancy but useless

Great headphones poorly designed hinge

I accidentally dropped my case with the buds inside from 4ft to my floor at home, and the hinge gave out. The plastic top part of the case broke…Sad a $300 pair of buds shouldn’t have such a cheaply made case. I recommend getting insurance or a a protective case for these buds.

Buy extended warranty from best buy.

Boss Warranty gives me $100 bucks off a new pair but with only one option to choose. I'd like to try something new but have to pay full prices

The most comfortable earbuds I have now

I generally find them uncomfortable, but you can't beat having something small to carry around when needed. That said, I've tried (and used) many over the years, and these have got to be the most comfortable I have ever worn. For starters, the QC2 has more than just the standard replaceable soft earths, but also come with a secondary soft cushion that goes along the ridges of the ear. This both helped in comfort and ensured the buds didn't fall out easily. And they didn't fall out at all - while I was jogging or doing heavy dancing. This impressed me the most. The companion app also has a feature to make sure there's a good fit, and I think it really worked. The audio has nice bass that doesn't wash out the other levels. I'm experiencing some clean tones and the music I listen to is crisp. But what really sells me on these buds is the noise reduction. When you activate it, the world is just shut out. The humming of the AC or nearby fans are gone and all that's left is the audio coming from the earbuds. I had another (different brand) of earbuds that had exceptional noise cancellation. Unfortunately I lost them. These QC2 earbuds make up for what I lost and are even better. If I were to have one complaint, it's that the buds cannot charge wirelessly in their charging case. This is a pretty big thing considering the charging case is a bit big, so it's a bit curious why that was left out. It's definitely an annoyance, but the sound and comfort of these earbuds is so good that I can't take a star away just for that.
