A great sounding and easy to set up product. The only thing I wish that was retained from the previous version was in case wireless charging.

Noise cancelling and comfortable. What more can you ask for! Work in a cubicle and these are great. Cannot hear noise around me and quickly toggle connection between laptop and phone depending on need. Work well for teams calls.

I recently lost the left ear bud and the charging case. I had considered not purchasing another set, but after experiencing the sound, fit and quality of the Bose Quiet Comfort ear buds, it was worth buying another pair.

I think Bose took the time to refine some of the things it got right and fix some of the things it got wrong in the previous generation - the case is now much smaller. It no longer has Q charging to cut down on costs for something that (I actually found convenient) but maybe not enough others used...its a good move. Size of ear buds - awesome reduction. Fit of earbuds by completely redisigning the surrounding rubber fittings - well done here too. They are snug and perfectly seal. Sound is perfect also - Built in EQ via the app is great though arguably they did such a good job on the sound I think it's just a nice to have and great incase you need to customize things just a little. Noise cancellation - Bose is at the top of their game on this and arguably the leader hands down. Price $299 reflective of the quality and materials and engineering - I think it fair. I have been very happy with these the past week and compared to others I have tried in the past month I know I made the right choice to stick with these....highly recommended.

These noise cancelling ear buds work great. There are two settings, aware and quiet. When set to quiet you really block out all surrounding noise, while aware lets you hear some background sounds. Very comfortable and worth buying.

The best earphones around. I am a long-time customer of the Bose brand. I've bought the previous model and two other Bluetooth Bose headphones. I was looking forward to getting these new ones after using my last to the point of not working anymore (5yrs) You escape the world as soon as you put these small earbuds in your ears. They are excellent for working in an open office space, working out at the gym, meditating, or sleeping. The sound quality is spectacular!! I still have to read the instruction about where the tapping features are on the earbuds because it's a bit complicated. I've let my friend borrow them and she wanted them as a b-day gift! Charging case pretty similar to the airpod but the quality 100% better. If you are passionate about music and need to block out the world these are for you.

I own a pair of Apple Air Pods Pro. I like the fit and feel of the Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds 2. The noise canceling feature is outstanding. Especially useful in an open office environment. The sound quality is as good or better than any earbuts i have ever owned.

Bose Quiet Comfort II buds: Good? Great?

Ahh, the Bose Quiet Comfort II buds. I'm listening to them as I write this review. A little back story, I own the Bose Sport Earbuds and the original Bose QC Earbuds and have used the 1st gen QC exclusively for the last 6 months. I feel when it comes to the QC II earbuds there are some tradeoffs. The Bose QC II buds are smaller with a smaller case and better battery life overall. The active noise cancellation is certainly more advanced than the previous generation. The quality for voice calls is also slightly improved. When it comes to the sound quality while listening to music it's excellent for sure, but I'm not sure it's an improvement. I've listened to music across all genres on all three (Sport, QC Gen 1, QC II) to compare, I let other family members do the same to get their opinion. Everyone had a similar opinion, that the QC II sounded excellent, maybe even slightly enhanced bass over the other two offerings, but that it wasn't necessarily "better" in sound as compared to the 1st gen QC buds. Even it seems the QC II buds had a slightly lower maximum volume than the 1st gen QC buds. It's not a deal breaker, as they are truly amazing ANC and sound quality in a smaller package. A few design gripes in regard to the QC II: I miss the multi light battery monitor on the case. The QC II has only one light. The case lid on the QC 2 has no latch and is very easy to open. This may be a plus for some people, but I can see it could lead to the case opening unintentionally. The question many people will have is: Should I upgrade from my 1st gen QC buds? It's not a simple answer. It really depends on what you are looking for. You want improved battery life, better ANC, and a smaller form factor? Then sure why not. Are you chasing a better sound experience? Stick with the 1st gen QC buds or see if you can test them for yourself as I don't think you will find these to be superior in that regard. In the end 4 stars because I had very high expectations.

      Hello,

It's great to see that you're enjoying the noise cancellation, and sound from the earbuds. An finding them an improvement over the previous QC earbuds.

We can see you're concerned about there being no battery indicator on the case, there are two lights for battery status available. There is one inside the case for the earbuds battery level, and the second is on the outside above the Bose logo for the case battery. The user guide here https://bose.life/3dLlUXB from page 32 will go over the battery of the earbuds and case, with page 37 showing the charging case indicator light.

We of course value feedback, and we'd love for you to reach out to us directly https://bose.life/38DNELy to take your feedback.

I have had Bose buds in some form for a long time. This version has the great sound quality that I love about Bose but the buds are not as user friendly as previous models. The fit for me is unpredictable. Sometimes they fit snuggly and other times they fall out without warning. The sound occasionally clicks on/ off for no reason. When the fit is on point, these are great. If it’s not a good day, I am catching buds as they fall out of my ears. I have tried all the various sizes of adaptive rubber pieces they provide.

Coming from Air Pods Pro and using AirPods 3. The noise cancellation and sound is far superior to both. Bose should have added wireless charging. Call quality is mediocre.

The sound quality when listening to music is excellent, just as I would expect from Bose. It has great noise cancellation for listening. The fit with snug and comfortable. The ambient noise picked up when having a conversation with another caller was terrible. Everyone I talked with complained. I was looking for an all-around earbud, but these are music specific. It's a great choice if listening to music is your primary use.

      Hi there,

I'm happy that you're enjoying the great sound quality and noise cancelling of the earbuds. We aimed to make sure they have a very customizable and comfortable fit. Though I'm surprised you're having trouble with the mic pick up, and would recommend making sure they are orientated correctly. Our guide here https://bose.life/45qwHfS can help with mic pick up, or contact us https://bose.life/contact for further help.
