The airline adapter is designed to be used with as many air craft as possible, however most airlines now no longer require the use of an adapter.

A passenger brushed it with his leg and the whole adapter fell apart. I had to piece it back together and hold it in place for it to work. Get an adapter that doesn't have seams.
