Bose>beats , Bose>sony
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looking for the best sound and noise cancelling earbuds? Look no further, these earbuds simply put perform all the beats studio and Sony headsets I've ever used or tested. Be careful with the noise cancelling though, I had it enabled while walking my dog in my subdivision and almost got hit by car because I couldn't hear the car even though it was honking it's horn at me. You honestly will not hear any outside noise with these. Also the battery life on these earbuds is insane, you can go weeks without the need to recharge them.

Very good, but not ideal for Apple users
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to upgrade my first generation Airpods Pro. I compared these Bose buds with the AirPods Pro 2nd gen. My main objectives were improved ANC, good sound quality, and ease of use. The Bose are excellent on the first two. ANC is outstanding, far better than the older Airpods. Sound quality was very good as well. However, there were some minor glitches. The connection to the iPhone dropped sometimes and there was an occasional lack of sync between the L and R buds that would create a brief echo effect for a second or two. Also, the integration with Siri is not as seamless as with the Airpods. So I bought a pair of 2nd Gen Airpods, and found that the ANC and sound quality was on par with the Bose buds (though I did not do a deeper dive by comparing musical tracks; at first blush they were both good enough for me), but the Airpods function more smoothly in the Apple ecosystem, with fewer dropped connections, ease of use of Siri, etc. So, I returned the Bose buds. Bottom line: they are very high quality buds with comparable performance to the Airpods, but, as many online reviews say, the nod goes to the Airpods if you're swimming in the Apple waters.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not 100% happy with the way it hooks up to the phone and you can’t hear phone calls that great. But music and everything else and the noise cancellation is awesome.

Great earpiece.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great earpiece. Big fan of Bose. Price can be more reasonable or product can ad features like wireless charging perhaps to compensate for price ad a strong loop on case to prevent dropping or losing of device at minimum. Sound quality is superb, comfortable in ear, easy connectivity and sound deafening absolutely impressive.

great improvements with minor complaint
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great improvement from last version but they are most susceptible to falling off the ear during running. Not to say the last version was great either for that but either way. great sounds and extremely comfortable. never notice i have them on. sometimes its annoying to connect.

Nice Earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Noise cancelling was top tier, but more than I need for everyday use. I feel like they automatically had the noise cancelling turned on as soon as I put them in and I prefer to turn the noise cancelling on myself when I need it. My biggest complaint is that they weren't as comfortable as my old wired QC20 headset or my over the ears. I have small ears so sometimes earbuds can be tricky. Solid pick up for someone that wants really good noise cancelling and doesn't have issues with needing an extra small fit.

low volume :(
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good sound and clear, but very loud on calls, you can't hear the conversation. I have to disconnect and talk on the phone (I hear them with very little volume) a little difficulty when adjusting them to the touch. You can't do many things with your iPhone to improve connectivity (compared to my estphone bits) They are not so good for what they cost.

Very good for construction!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely live these earbuds!! Had airpods for a ling time but wanted better noise cancelation. I work in construction and these block out most of the noise. They also sound super good. I love the way they feel in my ears, very secure fitting. I do a lot of loving around and they have stayed in my ears throughout the whole day.

Terrific
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Bose Ultra QC Earbuds add the spacious sound of a live performance to the already amazing Bose QCII great sound. My Bose QCIi still work fine and I am able to still enjoy them which is something I can’t say for the acclaimed Sony earbuds which I owned, but quickly faded to become unusable. These are not cheap earbuds and they provide a great fit with makes for great bass, add quality, great noise cancellation and great performance all add up to make the Ultra QC Bose earbuds a True Winner!

Great hits, some misses
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are great, but not perfect and lacking in surprising places. The sound is great, but only with the immersion turned off. The active noise reduction is great, but Bluetooth connection occasionally unstable. The charging case is good, but there is no information on its charge level (earbuds only). Close it with the buds in it and tgey disconnect. Most surprising though, the case cannot use a wireless charging pad and must be charged via USB-C. The capacitive touch interface is good, but also prone to accidental controls when not intended. That’s all maybe reason to deduct one star, but at $300 list price, I feel it weighs more and results in 2 stars deducted. They are still great headphones, but expensive to let the quirks slide.

Posted .Hello Thomas,
Thank you for providing your detailed feedback on our headphones. We're glad to hear that you appreciate the sound quality and active noise reduction features. However, we apologize for the issues you've encountered with Bluetooth stability, and the touch interface. The charging case status light is located on the front of the charging case, and will be able to show the battery level of your buds once you open the lid of the case. Please see this article where the LED behaviour is explained in greater detail: https://bose.life/3vabVnH. Your feedback is valuable to us as we strive to improve our products. Regarding the charging case, we understand your disappointment about the lack of wireless charging capability. We'll take your suggestions into consideration for future product improvements. If you have any further concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team.
Kind Regards,
Eric V. - Bose Customer Support

Renewed Faith in Bose
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great fit, sound and ANC! My son has been trying to get me to try Bose for years, but I love my Sony WF-1000XM5's. I still like my Sony's, but now I'm using both.
