Bose outdid themselves with these hands down to them. I bought them because my 6 yr old Beets passed away and I had an upcoming business trip. Attended a meeting at the airport and the noose cancelling was above and beyond. I kid you not when I tell you that I didn't even liaten when they started boarding my flight and the folks on the call didn't hear any background noise either. On the plane I activated the immersive mode and best audio I've heard so far. I've worn them while working the entire day and theybare so comfortable, don't hurt my ears and battery lasts for around 4 days straight. Don't walk...run to get these

They offer outstanding noise isolation performance, effectively blocking out ambient noise, which is beneficial for commuting or office environments. The sound quality is clear and sensitive, with a punchy bass and excellent instrumental staging. Users have noted that the headphones are comfortable for extended wear, though some mention that the design isn’t as luxurious as some competitors.

Bose QC ultra is very comfortable and has pretty good NC -better airpods Pro 1 and senheiser momentums. I faced a lot of QC issues and had to return them twice .I could hear a clicky sound when i moved my head and music wasnt playing. Sound is good , but senheiser momentums are better. Immersive mode is a hit or miss depends on the track. On some songs it completely changes the sound stage. Battery life has been poor for me. Sometimes it will go from 80 to 20 in just standby which is weird. Touch slider control for volume is a pain to use and very flimsy.

The Bose headphones are absolutely amazing! The sound quality is top-notch, with deep bass and crystal-clear audio that makes music, calls, and videos a pleasure. The noise-canceling feature is incredibly effective, perfect for blocking out distractions in busy environments. They’re also super comfortable to wear, even for long periods, and the battery life is excellent. While they might be a bit pricey, the quality and performance are well worth it.

These are hands down the best headphones I’ve ever owned. The sound is rich, clear, and incredibly immersive with the spatial audio—it feels like I’m in the middle of the music. Noise cancelling is next-level; it completely blocks out the world. They’re also super comfortable, even for long listening sessions, and the battery lasts all day. Calls are crystal clear too. If you want premium sound and comfort, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra is worth every cent.

Very comfy, I can see how ppl say it’s not “loud enough” but these are perfect, their never uncomfortable loud just like the perfect amount to me. Their really comfy and don’t hurt my head after using them for so long. I have a pretty big head and ear lol but they fit comfortably. The noise cancellation is the best and what I love the most. Helps a lot when getting overstimulated by sounds in public. If u want really painfully loud headphones these are not for u, if u want to escape the sounds from the world and listen to music for hours without getting a headace these are for you. Very portable and looks very good. Had them for under 2 months I still use them regular and daily

I have to say, after a weekend of use with different media; music and movies, these are wonderful headphones. Bose finally has integrated immersive sound (basically, dolby atmos) and the results are awstounding. The help of noise cancellation puts you in the music. The quality of construction is superb as usual. But, my favorite is how light they are on my head. This is something Bose has mastered. All and all, an A + for sound quality, construction and design.

As a music producer with a keen ear for sound quality, I carefully considered several factors before purchasing the Bose QC Ultra headphones. While the AirPods Pro Max have a strong reputation, I found them to be somewhat cumbersome. Similarly, after testing two different Beats models, I was disappointed by their lack of innovation despite being recent releases. I initially bought the standard Bose QuietComfort headphones but decided to upgrade to the Ultras, and the additional $100 was well worth it. The noise-canceling capabilities of the QC Ultra are unmatched, and the app integration with my iPhone is seamless. The option to connect to multiple devices simultaneously is a standout feature. There is a slight learning curve, as with any high-quality headphones, but after a week of use, they become second nature. I also appreciate the prompt, same-day delivery from Best Buy, which has proven to be a reliable and preferred shopping experience over other platforms. Having used the Bose QC Ultra headphones for about a month, I’ve had zero issues. The battery life is impressive, lasting several days on a single charge. The ‘Immersion Mode’ effectively blocks out external noise without compromising sound quality, and the ability to customize noise-canceling settings for different modes is a fantastic feature. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Bose never disappoints. Every product that Bose manufactures is always better than the next one. The Bose overhead noise cancelling headphones ultra quiet are no exception. The sound, the great fit over the ears, the battery life combine to make this headset probably the best in this price range. Another important feature is that the Bose Headset fits absolutely perfectly in its carrying case.

I've been using Bose headphones for almost 20 years, and these QuietComfort Ultras really live up to the name. The sound is as amazing as ever—maybe even better than what I remember from older models. I use them every day, and they've been super reliable. They're light, super comfortable, and the color is just perfect. Honestly, these headphones are part of my daily routine now. Looking forward to another 20 years with Bose.

Mixed feelings! I currently own these, the quiet comfort and I started with the QC 35’s. I never owned the 45’s. These are certainly superior in comfort and in noise cancellation. As always audio sounds amazing and they’re comfortable for all day wear. Calls sound amazing as well, sound and feature wise these are above the Quiet Comfort headphones. BUT my one gripe is that these are harder to turn off, I I do miss the actual on and off switch with the regular Quiet Comforts, I feel like those battery lasted forever. These Ultras feel like it last less time because they’re harder to turn off and sometimes I won’t do it correctly, I had to change the auto off settings to be stricter. Final thoughts is I miss my simple switch that the regular Quiet Comforts do have, these are sleaker and sound better but they are almost twice as much during specials. I love my Bose tho

I’ve been using the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones for a while now, and the experience has been a mixed bag. On the positive side, the sound quality is outstanding. It sounds rich, balanced, and detailed across all ranges. The noise canceling is some of the best I’ve ever experienced, blocking out everything from office chatter to plane engines. Comfort is also top-notch. I can wear them for hours without any fatigue or head pain. Unfortunately, the microphone is a major letdown. Total trash. On calls and video meetings, people constantly tell me I sound muffled or hard to hear, and the mic also seems to pick up every bit of background noise. Compared to my older QC35 II, the mic performance is significantly worse, which is disappointing for a premium product at this price point. Overall, while the headphones excel in listening experience and comfort, the poor microphone quality is a dealbreaker for me. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t buy the QC Ultras.

I’m autistic with ahdh. For a while i’ve been using the apple air pods as my form of noise cancellation, but to wear long term for the duration of the day, they just weren’t comfortable enough. I did a lot of research ahead of time, being this would be my first purchase of real headphones and not just earbuds. To say i’m floored by their comfortable, the level of noise cancellation and the sound quality when I do have music going, is an understatement. If you’re also stuck deciding between similiar price range products as I was, I can happily say I have not been more thrilled about a purchase in a very long time. You will absolutely not be disappointed.

Great upgrade from QC35, but earpads still peel

I bought these QuietComfort Ultra headphones in June 2024 to replace my old Bose QC35 that I used for years. This is my second pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones, so I had high expectations. Overall performance is excellent. Noise cancelling is stronger than on my QC35, especially for low constant noise like engines and air conditioners. On planes and in crowded places they cut the background noise down to almost nothing. The aware mode works well when I need to hear what is happening around me without taking the headphones off. Sound quality is a clear step up from the QC35. Bass has more impact but still stays controlled. Vocals and details sound cleaner, even at lower volume. With the Bose app EQ I could dial in a sound profile that works for both music and movies. Comfort is classic Bose. I can wear them for long workdays, flights and gym sessions without pressure points. The new USB C charging is a big improvement. With the QC35 the old micro USB cable was always a hassle, now I can use the same cable I use for my phone and other devices. Call quality is better than on my old pair. People on the other side hear me clearly, even in noisy environments. For calls plus music these are one of the best all round wireless headphones I have tried. The big negative for me is the same problem I had with the QC35. After several months of regular use, especially in the gym where there is sweat and moisture, the earpads start to crack and peel. On this Ultra model the pads actually started peeling even faster than on my QC35. For this price level I expected Bose to fix that by now. I really hope the next generation uses more durable pads or includes a better sweat resistant design. If you want top tier noise cancelling, comfort and sound, these are an excellent choice and a strong upgrade from the QC35. Just be ready that with heavy use, especially workouts, you may need to replace the earpads sooner than you would like.

In 2024, we all know Bose for delivering top-notch audio experiences, but let's dive into the nitty-gritty of the Bose QC Ultra headphones. First off, a bit of a letdown – no passthrough audio when using a cable. You've got to make sure the battery is juiced up and the headphones are turned on to catch those beats when connected with a 3.5mm cable, even if you are using a DAC. Now, speaking of cables, you might want to invest in a longer one. The included cable is pretty short, even for in-flight use. The physical buttons are a nice touch, but there's a minor hiccup – a 4 to 5 second delay from pressing the power button to hearing the chime when turning them on and other unreliable results when pressing the buttons, so you got to get used to it. Connectivity is smooth if you stick to one device, but the multipoint feature is a bit wobbly. It tends to auto-pause music or disconnect randomly. AND, you have to manually switch devices using the button (a bit of a bummer). Let's talk noise-canceling – it's downright impressive. However, calls are a different story. The self-voice feature is a letdown, and the automatic turn-off when not in use is hit or miss. Don't be shocked to find your headphones drained if you forget to manually power them down. A quick note on Aptx – it supports Aptx Adaptive, not Aptx, Aptx LL, or Aptx HD. Also, Snapdragon Sound is cool, but only a handful of devices support it, making it more of a "future-proof" feature for a future that hasn't quite arrived. Now, onto comfort – they're cozy to wear. I appreciate the design; it's not too big or small. However, those flat hinges might play a little pinchy with your ears, fingers, or neck occasionally, and it's worth noting that they tend to collect fingerprints (see photo). Why am I airing out these grievances but keeping them? Well, I'm hopeful that some of these quirks will get sorted with firmware updates. Plus, let's be real – they sound fantastic, and the noise-canceling is the cream of the crop. BUT, if you're not too fussed about immersive audio and "snapdragon sound" (which can be a bit gimmicky), a previous model might suit you just fine (and be nicer with your pockets).
