Great sound and noise cancellation, mixed controls
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upon opening the box, these are pretty great headphones from initial impressions. Because they fold up, the case is pretty small and compact (and a hard shell, not a flimsy cloth bag). Inside, there is a small pocket to hold the included adapters for 2.5mm to 3.5mm and a USB-A to USB-C. The headphones themselves are high quality with solid build and metal construction, with no creaks whatsoever. Each side extends smoothly with the right amount of friction and resistance. The new feature is a slider on the bottom of the right ear cup that controls the volume. It works pretty well and quickly. Noise cancellation works pretty well in my testing, and sound quality is excellent, with deep bass and good mid/highs - typical Bose to have good sound. The Immersive Mode is a bit strange though. While it can provide either the typical ‘fixed’ Spatial sound or the head-tracking Spatial mode, the head-tracking is weird in that it “moves” with your head and isn’t instant. The best way to describe it is as if there is a speaker in front of you that is locked onto your face, and when you move your head, it takes about a half second for the speaker to reposition itself in front of you. The buttons on the right cup that control everything are mostly intuitive. The Bose app works as intended - you can set the different EQ as well as modes for noise cancelling. The two main issues I had with the device were the auto play/pause and pairing - sometimes when I would take the headphones off, or put them back on, they wouldn’t detect the change and either not resume playing or wouldn’t stop. For pairing, upon powering on sometimes it would not say it was connected, even after waiting up to 30 seconds. I am sure that these two could be fixed with a software update. All in all, these headphones deliver on the fundamentals of premium build quality, impressive sound/noise cancellation, and long battery life. It is just some of the more advanced features that seem to not be completely ironed out.

Loyal Bose Client
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a longtime Bose user, I’ve consistently been impressed with their audio products, and the QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are no exception. I didn’t initially plan to upgrade, but after trying them in-store, I couldn’t resist—especially after catching them on sale during Prime Day (also discounted in-store). The sound on these headphones is phenomenal, as expected from Bose. The noise-canceling is top-notch, instantly muting distractions and allowing for a deeply immersive listening experience. Whether I’m working, traveling, or just relaxing, the clarity and depth of the audio—especially in the mids and highs—are crisp and balanced. The bass isn’t overpowering but still delivers that solid thump for bass-heavy tracks. Comfort is a huge factor, especially for long listening sessions, and Bose nailed it. The plush ear cushions and lightweight build make these headphones incredibly easy to wear for hours. However, I do wish they offered more color options. My previous pair was navy blue, and while black is sleek, it feels a bit standard. It’d be great to see more variety in the future. The battery life on these headphones is impressive as well, lasting through extended workdays without needing a charge. Wireless connectivity is seamless, and the multipoint feature makes switching between devices smooth and efficient. Overall, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra delivers everything you’d expect from a premium pair of wireless noise-canceling headphones—excellent sound, top-tier comfort, and seamless functionality. If you’re a fan of high-quality audio, these are definitely worth the investment. A few more color options would be a welcome addition, but that’s a small quibble for an otherwise outstanding product.

Never going back to no noise cancelling headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work on a floor with lots of phone calls coming in. With these I never hear anything outside of what I am listening to. If coworkers need me, they either have to message me or come over to my cube to get my attention. These also flawlessly work with my cell phone and office PC via Bluetooth at the same time. Also call quality and people hearing me works great without a microphone hanging out the front. Also very comfortable on my head and battery lasts all day!

Just spend the extra money
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tested these in store and I’m not sure how anyone buys anything else. Sound quality beats the competition. The bass is fantastic. Deducting one star only because the volume doesn’t get as high as I like in the immersive audio setting. This is okay though because we probably shouldn’t have these things that loud anyway. Don’t waste your money on other brands. Don’t even waste your money on the quiet comfort headphones. If you can afford Bose, please just get these! I’ve had them for a few months now and they work just as well as when I first bought them. The charge lasts forever. The connectivity is seamless.

Android app is needs work
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose Quiet Comfort headphones are my second pair of Bose headphones. The first I’ve owned was the Truesound from 2015. I still use it today. I’ve replaced the earpads but they work as if they are still brand new. I would expect these Quiet Comforts to last just as long. They are comfortable to wear and adjust well over my head. The headband flexes and bends over my head. When putting them on, it filters out most of the noise around me. There is an app for Android and iOS. I currently have it paired to my Pixel 8 Pro. It comes with USBC charging cables (USB-A to USB-C). I’m glad more and more devices are using USBC. It also comes with 3.5mm to 2.5mm audio cables. You can use these cables to connect the headphones to your audio device via headphone jack. On Android, the Bose app is horrible. It only works the first time I connect the headphones via bluetooth. Afterwards, the phone connects fine, and Android recognizes it. But the Bose app fails to connect. I would have to reset and connect all over again. You do not need to use the app to use the headphones. If the phone connects to it, then it will work. You just cannot change your settings like noise cancelling or other modes. The touch sensitive volume control on the right earphone is responsive. You can connect to a couple of other devices as well. The app needs a lot of work on Android but overall, the quality of the headphones is great. Noise cancelling is great. It has a good amount of bass, not too much.

Solid Noise Cancelling
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I settled on the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones after an underwhelming experience with the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4, and testing out my friend's Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones. The Bose are the best for cancelling out loud city noises, annoying neighbor noises in apartment buildings, and construction noises. All while having amazing battery life. These headphones are a comfortable fit, they are lightweight and have the ability for connectivity to two devices at the same time. The call audio is great, the companion application is easy to use and allows customizable EQ settings. The carrying case is leather like has a nice simple design. Overall I'm happy with this purchase.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these head phones I bought a pair for my wife and I. Her the rose gold and myself the black. I was decideding between these and the sony. I'm glad I chose these. I will start with the fact that the carrying case is very slim and easily stored for travel. The headphones fold and twist a certain way to fit in. It can be a little confusing at first. We love these for airplane travel. completely blocks out the airplane drone in quiet mode. The eq changer is nice. chage to alert mode and you can hear everything around you. change to quiet or immersive and you cannot hear someone directly infront of you talking. pretty crazy technology. they are light and very comfy for long term use I have found. Battery lasts a really long time went on a 5 hour flight, used them the whole time, and the batttery only went down to 80%. These are about as nice as you can get for the money. Unless you are an audiophile going up from here I think would be a waste the bass sounds amazing. These are awesome and I'm glad I bought them!

No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from Bose Support
Posted .Hi.
Thank you for posting. There are two timers in your headphones that can power off your headphones if they are not used for a period of time to conserve power. The Auto-off setting, which is adjustable in the Bose app and the Motion Detection timer will turn off your headphones If no movement is detected for 60 minutes. With the cushions, those are made from protein leather, which can naturally deteriorate over time with use. This can be accelerated by environmental factors such as heat and humidity, but the great news is that we do stock replacement cushions. If you require further assistance, please get in touch with us at https://bose.life/3BgUIIU. We would love to help.

Excellent Noise Cancelling Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have recently started going back into the office, but after working from home for 3 years, I can't stand all the noise in the office. I needed something to help me focus, and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones are just what I needed. These are my first noise cancelling headphones and I'm very impressed. HARDWARE: The build quality is excellent. The headphones fit nicely in the compact case that is provided. A nice touch they added is an image inside the case to show you the proper position the headphones should go in the case. The headphones are comfortable to wear, from the ear cups, to the padding against your head. USABILITY: The headphones have two buttons, one for controlling the music and audio modes and the other for power and phone connectivity. It's easy to switch audio modes, pause, change tracks, etc. There is a virtual slider on the ear cup for changing the volume. I really like how easy it is to change the volume using that slider without having extra buttons. SOUND QUALITY: The sound quality is excellent. I'm not a hardcore audiophile, but I can appreciate the sound quality is much better than the top tier ear buds I previously used. What I'm really impressed is with the noise cancellation. I didn't realize how much noise it would filter out. I tested it at work and the phone conversations were almost completely filtered out, whereas they used to drive me nuts. As i write this review I'm wearing the headphones so I can focus while my son is watching TV. FEATURES: The setup with the app was very easy and the app itself is great. By you have 3 modes configured by default: Quiet, Aware and Immersion. You can add or remove any that you want and you can customize the amount of noise cancelling, on a scale of 1-10. You can adjust the EQ using the app, I like to boost the bass. The only negative think about these headphones is the voice it uses for feedback, like telling you what device it's connected to or what mode you just switched to. It's just really horrible and hard to listen to. Fortunately you don't have to listen to it very often, but there are much better voice readers out there, so it's kind of disappointing. Ultimately, the voice doesn't affect the experience all that much. BOTTOM LINE: I am so glad I have these headphones when for when I go into the office, but I'll be using them for more than just noise cancellation. The audio quality is superior to anything I've had before, so I'll be reaching for these headphones next time I listen to music. I would definitely recommend these headphones.

The Best Headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Headphones is the best, it work as advertised. Used on my travel and it was comfortable through my 8 hour plane ride. Headphone was light it you won't feel like its on your head, sound quality is a bit bassy but you can tune the sound on the app, noise cancelation and noise ambiet is great, but the only problem is remembering the functions on your headphones. I watched movies and listen to music and the batteries life was enough for me. I bought 2 of these phones because I did not want to share with my wife.

Highly recommended
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Connecting and setup on these headphones was easy and fast. Scan the QR code and download the Bose app and you are in business. The headphones come in a nice padded case. Sturdy construction and easy to adjust. The earpads are very comfortable and fit nicely over the ears. It would be nice to see some fun colors instead of just black and white. Also included are 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm audio cable and a USB-C (A to C) cable that is 20” long. With the Bose app you can adjust setting modes. You can also adjust on the headphones (right ear) by a long press on the control button allows you to change settings. A short press is for pause / resume. There is also a volume control strip where you can slide your finger to increase / decrease volume. On your left ear there is a 2.5mm jack. Quiet - highs hit harder and bass drops the deepest. Aware - hear your music and surroundings with full transparency. Immersion - combine full noise cancellation and Bose Immersive Audio for best sound quality. Equalizer – works well and easy to adjust. Immersive Audio – Spatial audio makes the sound more realistic as it comes at you from all angles – just like in real life. Still / Motion settings – will you be sitting or moving? Tailored sound that analyzes the shape of your ears, adapts any distortion to give the best sound quality. Spatial audio makes the sound more realistic as it comes at you from all angles – just like in real life. Call quality was very good. Two of my calls had poorer audio quality but that may have been partially on the other end. Bose says the range is 30’ but I was able to extend that to 36-40’. Quality was fine until it lost connection. My usage was varied as I used all 3 modes so my battery life was about 21 hours. Immersion mode uses the most battery. Charging took just under 3 hours from about 5%. Highly recommended.

Worth the purchase!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I understand that these headphones are expensive, but if you can afford them or are considering investing in them, I believe they are absolutely worth it. I previously owned the Sony XM5 headphones and enjoyed them, but the case was too large and inconvenient to carry around. After conducting research, I decided to return the XM5s and purchase the Bose QC Ultra headphones, and I was extremely impressed. The QC Ultra headphones are constructed with better quality materials and are incredibly comfortable to wear for extended periods. The sound quality is also exceptional. While the Sony headphones are a good choice, the Bose headphones offer superior comfort, portability, sound, and overall quality. Although the microphone on the Bose headphones is not as good as the Sony headphones, the difference is not significant. In my opinion, Bose headphones are the superior choice.

||Posted . Great Bose over the ear wireless headphones!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these over the are headphones. I’m a music lover, I need to hear my highs , mids and bass . I need to hear a full sound and these Bose provided a great rounded sound. And battery life is completely awesome. They last a long time, and when you have them in the case , they last for weeks or months. I charged my headphones to 100% and used for a couple of hours and then put them back in the case and haven’t used them for months and it still had 60% months later . I could not believe it. I initially bought these for a flight and used them on the plane and they were comfortable and I didn’t hear much of the plane humming you hear. I definitely recommend these if you’re looking foot over the ear. 1 con: when you receive a call and answer, it will not connect to wireless automatically, need to switch to wireless on your phone (I have an iPhone) but otherwise, you hear clearly and the other person can hear you clearly as well.

Best product in this category without a doubt
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones are truly top-notch if you want to escape the world. Their noise cancellation is simply unmatched, silencing everything from commutes to office chatter so your music or podcasts really shine. They sound fantastic right out of the box, offering rich audio that you can even fine-tune to your liking through the app, and the new "Immersive Audio" feature adds a cool spatial effect to your sound. Plus, they're incredibly comfortable, perfect for wearing all day without any discomfort. I get solid battery life and clear calls too, making them an excellent all-around choice. While they're a bit pricey, the performance and comfort make them a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about their audio.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here's a refined review narrative for your Bose headphones: I recently got my hands on a pair of Bose headphones, and I must say, they have completely transformed my listening experience. From the moment I put them on, I was immersed in crystal-clear sound with deep, rich bass and balanced mids and highs. Whether I’m listening to music, watching a movie, or taking a call, the audio quality remains impeccable. The noise cancellation is truly top-notch, effectively blocking out background noise and allowing me to focus on what matters. It’s perfect for travel, work, or simply unwinding in a noisy environment. The comfort level is outstanding as well—lightweight with plush ear cushions that make extended use a breeze. Battery life is impressive, lasting me through long hours without needing frequent charges. The Bluetooth connectivity is seamless, with no noticeable lag or drop in quality. The intuitive touch controls and voice assistant integration add to the overall convenience, making these headphones a joy to use. Overall, Bose has once again delivered a premium product that lives up to its reputation. If you’re looking for a high-quality, immersive audio experience, these headphones are a fantastic choice!

Nice Headphones!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best sounding headphones out there. Connects easy, comfortable, has great battery life. It stays connected to device, no matter where I go in the house or garage, (moderate sq. ft.) I don't like the carrying case. It's a tight fit, and I don't like folding a pair of expensive headphones and cramming them into a case. Should be a little bigger. Would buy again. Best Buy has always been good to me.
