They are amazing headsets. Light weight, great sound, great noise cancelation. Why a 4 rating? This applies to all headsets in this class ... they are too expensive.

My last pair of Bose noise canceling headphones are still doing well after 6 years except the noise cancellation is getting glitchy. These new Ultras sound great, are super comfortable and I believe the noise cancellation is a bit better than the old ones. Controls are a bit different than the previous model and are not intuitive so you have to read the directions. Even as I am sitting here with them on, i forgot how to adjust the noise level. That shouldn’t detract from how nice these are though. That is more of a reflection of my forgetfulness. If you have bought cheap headphones and have to replace them every year or so, you might as well spend the big bucks on these because they really do last.

Premium Comfort and Sound — Bose at Its Best

These headphones exceeded every expectation I had. The noise cancellation is incredibly powerful, shutting out distractions so well that I can focus anywhere—whether I’m commuting, working, or just unwinding at home. The audio quality is exceptional. Every song sounds richer and more detailed, with crisp highs, smooth mids, and deep bass. Bose’s Immersive Audio really enhances the experience and gives everything a spacious, surround-sound feel. Comfort is another big win. I can wear them for long periods without any discomfort, and the Lunar Blue color looks stylish and premium. Battery life is strong, and the Bluetooth connectivity is fast and reliable. Overall, this has been one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. If you want elite noise cancelling, great sound, and all-day comfort, these are absolutely worth buying.

I narrowed my choice between bose, sony, and airpod max. I tested the noise cancellation in store and funny enough it was a busy day in the store and there was a really loud alarm going off. The bose headphones performed the best (couldn't try the airport max headphones as there was no display) and from a price point they were cheaper than the airpodmax and I read several website reviews that said sony and bose had better sound quality. I really like the case provided and the ease of use. I mostly have apple products but these still working on it great in spite of not being fully integrated like beats or airpods. Bose also has a great warranty on their products and I've had really good experience even when the product breaks or needs repairs.

The QC Ultra wireless are great all around. Sound quality is top notch, and immersive sound mode is super impressive. The noise cancellation is unrivaled; no surprise there it’s bose. I miss the tap/gesture motion from the 700s, but the new design more than make up for it. It also feels like the battery dies much quicker; this might just be a byproduct of being on immersive all the time. There’s a noticeable delay when turning on or off. The on head detection can be a little spotty. I think these last 2 will be addressed with software update. Finally these headphones fold and sit comfortably on your neck. This to me is a huge plus as I wear them on my neck all the time.

I've been using only bose headphones for years now. This is my 4th pair. Depending on what you are primarily using them for its possible you might get a better score with wilkes headphones but overall, minus the fact this model has no Ip rating its probably the best pair of headphones you can get on the market. The immersive sound mode is so immersive that I literally lost my sense of smell inadvertently until I took the headphones off. Never had that happen. Point is the sound quality and also the sound delivery are top notch. Dont expect them to be the loudest headphones. But do expect them to be most innovative. They're also a lot more comfortable to wear than the 700's if that matters to anyone reading this. Also I really wish it had a power button but thats just my personal preference.

Bose - QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise

Bought this for my sister, was shipped to my house in great condition no damage to box or items inside. Connects easily, remembers devices, comes with wire as stated to connect devices. Very unique style of increasing or lowering the volume as you don't touch the outer layer where the label Bose is on both sides. Remove headphones from your head and it automatically pauses and resume once placed back on. Truly comparing the style of noise you want I can't tell the difference much form switching from aware to the others and I mean that in a good way! Obviously, the style aware sticks to its meaning and brings you back to the surroundings. I'm trying this by playing a video in the background at level 10 while playing music at a low level and I can hear my music clearly and what's playing in the background/same with conversing I can hear others and can hear my own voice. When changing to Immersion/Music/Quiet I can only notice slight differences Immersion- can feel the beat more like the vibration and not in a dangerous way if cautious with volume input. Music- feels more surrounding, engaging with the music more while Quiet feels like it gets louder, but it doesn't, just block outside noise more effectively. Others can't hear the music even when switching the modes only when you remove your headphones do others hear your music Battery last longer when on aware mode but lasts around 6 hours for noise cancelling. Overall, what I do enjoy about this purchase when folding it, they don't feel like they would break as its easy falls into place When extending the headphone for head size it's slow, but it's nice as it prevents yanking it easily.

Has been the best sounding Bluetooth headphones I've ever used. They are nearly as good as my desktop headphones which are much larger and more tuned via software. But the noise canceling is literally unbeatable. You buy another pair of headphones, but they will never have the comfort or quality of bose when it comes to fit and finish. Or come close to their noise canceling.

Best headphones i’ve ever gotten. You really have to take a look at the raw frequency response in the rtings review so you can tweek the eq properly and each 10 slider movement is about 1 db raise or lowered so my best setting has been bass +1 mid +5 and treble -5 to get a pleasing more balanced sound that would give you live music quality. Very happy with this purchase!

Have had quiet comfort headphones before so this is a replacement. I like the new design, it seems more robust than the plastic of the previous ones. I hope the ear cups are more robust because that is the issue I've had with other models. As far as performance, I haven't had a chance to try them on a plane, but I don't doubt they will perform superbly. The only issue I've had is compatibility with the Hulu app on ipad. They continuously stop the stream. I read up on it and it appears the app is at fault, but with no solution available for now.
