Product was in perfect working condition when purchased and tested on-site. Very rarely, there have been some minor mishaps while I was changing EQ parameters with third party apps, or some connection issues, but those were easily resolved with a factory reset.

I have to say, after a weekend of use with different media; music and movies, these are wonderful headphones. Bose finally has integrated immersive sound (basically, dolby atmos) and the results are awstounding. The help of noise cancellation puts you in the music. The quality of construction is superb as usual. But, my favorite is how light they are on my head. This is something Bose has mastered. All and all, an A + for sound quality, construction and design.

I had the previous version of these headphones and loved them. I also have the QC Ultra earbuds and really appreciate the immersive audio setting. While at my local Best Buy, I found a really good deal on an open box set of these in Lunar Blue and bought them thinking immersive mode would be even better on them. That said, I have no complaints on the sound quality or the comfort of the headphones with long term use during work. I DO however have a complaint about not being able to use the audio cable without the headphones being powered on! This seems like a no brainer. Use the cable when your headphones are dead or if you want to save your battery. The previous version worked this way, but these don't. If you plan on taking a really long flight, or if you know you're going to kill the battery on these and want to use the jack, you might want to get something else. Uploading a screenshot from the manual (pg 33 English version) that says exactly this.

Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback! It’s great to hear that you’ve enjoyed both the previous version of the headphones and the QC Ultra Earbuds, especially the immersive audio feature. The Lunar Blue open-box find sounds like a great deal! We’re glad to know the sound quality and comfort continue to meet your expectations.

Regarding your concern about the audio cable requiring the headphones to be powered on, you're absolutely right, this is a change from the previous model. While the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones offer enhanced features, they do require power for wired listening. We truly appreciate your insight, and we’ll make sure to pass this feedback along to our product team. It’s input like yours that helps us improve future designs.

The Aware mode has improved so much that you don’t need to take off your headphones when talking to otbers. Noise cancellation is great! Even audiophiles will appreciate it. While it’s not the same as using a DAC with a dedicated setup, it's definitely worth it for on-the-go use. I've used them for lawn work and the gym, and I totally recommend them!

The quality itself of the headphones is great. I got mine especially and specifically because of the noise cancelling and the feature that allows you to adjust how much noise you want to block or how much you want to hear. As a current college student going into nursing school, I often find myself having trouble finding where to study because there is always loud noises going on even in the quiet zones of libraries so these were the best choice for me, and also because I have very loud nieces and nephews that visit me on a daily. Not to mention as a student I always find my computer or phone dying on me mid lecture so these will automatically connect to any other device I have paired it with allowing myself to easily begin the lecture on another device without having to search for them on the Bluetooth tab. On the other hand I am also a person that struggles with depression and anxiety and the only way to get myself together that has worked the best is by listening to music or exercising with a good quality sound device. Not only the quality of the audio but also comfortability, these allow me to adjust the size to my head, and the ear cuffs rotate so when they are not in use I can put them around my neck and they stay rotate stay flat against me and allow movement of my head. Also another plus is the battery life, I can sometimes use it 4 days in a row and won’t die on me easily.

I've been using Bose headphones for almost 20 years, and these QuietComfort Ultras really live up to the name. The sound is as amazing as ever—maybe even better than what I remember from older models. I use them every day, and they've been super reliable. They're light, super comfortable, and the color is just perfect. Honestly, these headphones are part of my daily routine now. Looking forward to another 20 years with Bose.

BOSE REALLY STEPPED UP THEIR GAME WITH THE ULTRAS

I’ll start by saying I have never been a Bose fan. Most likely because I listen to mostly hip hop and I’m somewhat a bass head. Recently this has changed as I travel for work and really prioritize anc as I’m constantly in airports and on planes. For comparison, I've tried the Sony xm4s and 5s, neither fit my small head, momentum 4s, AirPod max, and beat studio pros. These are the best sounding head phones out of any I’ve tried in multiple genres, and I’m able to use the eq settings to get the bass I want. These fit extremely well, no discomfort on long flights, and without question have the best anc of all (AirPod max and xm5 are somewhat close). I never thought I would ever be a Bose fan but here we are! Picture attached just to show I’m somewhat addicted to headphones lol!

Exactly the quality you’d expect from a Sony sound product. Sound quality is top-tier especially when coupled with the noise cancellation feature. The base settings are good for general use but in order to optimize the sound for specific use (ie. movies, music, video games etc.) the Bose companion app is a must. In the app you can also adjust and save specific noise cancellation settings allowing you to determine the degree to which outside noise is heard . This is very useful especially if you have crazy pets or live in a noisy area. The only downside is the headphones ability to pair with multiple devices. This feature causes issues when you want to listen to audio on one device but another device (like a cellphone) will constantly steal the audio. So if you’re watching a movie then open up your phone, any audio form the phone will cause the headphones to switch over to phone audio automatically and it can be very frustrating. To solve this I usually have to temporarily turn off my phones Bluetooth or disconnect my phone entirely. The only other downside is battery life but, although I wish it was longer, it still competes with other headphones on the market.

I cannot say enough about these headphones. The auto shut off feature, the ear detection is immaculate, the multipoint is better than in the Earbuds. I love these headphones. Also the color i chose saved me 50 bucks. I love my deep plum Ultras.

I’ve been using the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones for a while now, and the experience has been a mixed bag. On the positive side, the sound quality is outstanding. It sounds rich, balanced, and detailed across all ranges. The noise canceling is some of the best I’ve ever experienced, blocking out everything from office chatter to plane engines. Comfort is also top-notch. I can wear them for hours without any fatigue or head pain. Unfortunately, the microphone is a major letdown. Total trash. On calls and video meetings, people constantly tell me I sound muffled or hard to hear, and the mic also seems to pick up every bit of background noise. Compared to my older QC35 II, the mic performance is significantly worse, which is disappointing for a premium product at this price point. Overall, while the headphones excel in listening experience and comfort, the poor microphone quality is a dealbreaker for me. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t buy the QC Ultras.

Mixed feelings! I currently own these, the quiet comfort and I started with the QC 35’s. I never owned the 45’s. These are certainly superior in comfort and in noise cancellation. As always audio sounds amazing and they’re comfortable for all day wear. Calls sound amazing as well, sound and feature wise these are above the Quiet Comfort headphones. BUT my one gripe is that these are harder to turn off, I I do miss the actual on and off switch with the regular Quiet Comforts, I feel like those battery lasted forever. These Ultras feel like it last less time because they’re harder to turn off and sometimes I won’t do it correctly, I had to change the auto off settings to be stricter. Final thoughts is I miss my simple switch that the regular Quiet Comforts do have, these are sleaker and sound better but they are almost twice as much during specials. I love my Bose tho
