I purchased the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones as a Christmas gift for my fiancé, and they were a huge hit. The noise‑cancelling is outstanding, the sound quality is rich and immersive, and they’re extremely comfortable for long wear. Bose has never disappointed.

    Good Design, Poorly Made

I used these headphones for about 8 months before the left ear cushion starting splitting at the (glued) seam. It's unfortunate because they were working for me. Pros: -They generally sound crisp and rich. They're not the audiophile's headphone, but they're solid for everyday use. -They are pretty comfortable, even after hours of wear with glasses. -Passthrough is pretty solid. Cons: - They're mostly made of cheap plastic which you can hear occasionally creak while you use them. Not the biggest deal but it can get distracting. -Bluetooth is pretty buggy. I can get over this, too, but it's pretty annoying switching between devices. -Like all Bose headphones, the ear cushions are practically disposable. They're synthetic and wear out really quickly. These ones just ripped at the seam. These headphones cost $400 and I expect better. Even though past models were made of plastic, they still felt more solid than this. The QC Ultras are simply not built to last and I shouldn't have to replace the cushions annually for that amount of money.

It's a great set of headphones that's light and comfortable overall. I particularly appreciate the high-quality hear-through mode, which makes wearing them around the house or going on walks easy. It also can switch between different devices pretty easily, which is nice for bouncing between the phone, computer and Steam Deck (where it works with low enough latency over Bluetooth to be fine for most applications). The one hitch I had when first getting the headphones was the lack of a physical switch for the different modes. Instead, you have a couple of buttons to cycle through different settings that took a bit of getting used to before I got the hang of it.

The headphones are great! I have a smaller head and have trouble finding headphones that fit me correctly and don’t hurt the top of my head but these are perfect. They fit great and have really nice sound quality. I would definitely recommend!

I've purchased several gaming headsets, both wired and wireless, but I was never satisfied. My expectations were exceeded when I decided to try my luck with the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Cancelling headphones. Phenomenal headset with three varying levels of noise cancelling for when you need to focus. Also, comes with a sturdy case for when you need to take it with you, such as on an airplane. Lastly, this is a Bluetooth device, so there is no need to mess with proprietary dongles that other headsets come with. Well worth it. Trust, me don't waste your time with "gaming" headsets.

Overall, these sound great and I'd consider them the near-pinnacle of audio quality for over the ear listening headphones. The long battery life is a huge plus as well for constant work travel. However, they do start to get a bit uncomfortable after several hours of wear, a tiny bit more padding could go a long way.

Soft pads for ears; it does eliminate noise outside of the headphones; everyone that sees me where my headphones compliments the color (Lunar Blue). It's sleek, comes in a great case, and the only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is b/c after 3 hours or so, the tip top of my head (mid-scalp) begins to hurt. (I guess I need a little more padding.) Easily connects to blue tooth on my cell phone and desktop computers.
