Extremely comfortable and secure in my ears. The Jaybirds, which sound great, kept falling out of one of my ears. The Jays have better highs and the Bose are stronger in the bass so generally sound fuller/smoother, but not as clear. The battery charges quickly and lasts an extremely long time-rated at 20 hrs, but not tested. Noise dampening is very effective, but not quite as good as the original over the ears model. Only big negative is a very audible hiss when the variable noise dampening is set below 1/2 way. The hiss is noticeable even when the music is at moderate levels. Set the dampening above 1/2 way and the hiss disappears, even when the music volume is low. Sound quality seems unaffected by the noise dampening level, so I set it at 1/2 (where you can still hear some surrounding sounds) or more and all is good. Excellent product, depending on how you like to hear your tunes.

Bought thwae for tge bluetooth. I had bought the new Sony's first but was not comfortable or user friendly for me. These didnt sound bad. I ended up not like the neck wrap. It kept moving around my neck. I have the wired QC20 and the sound is better. For the money, sound quality, and comfort Bose QC20's are the best out there. I have tried many (not all) and all around they are the best. There are no more comfortable. Also, if the charge dies while using the QC20 they still work well enough. Just not noise cancelling. Hopefully Bose comes out with true wireless with the stay her tips.

I bought and returned the Bose QC20 and Sony W1000x (don’t get those they suck).
I ended up buying these on a whim, hoping they were gonna be good. Totally not disappointed.
Waaay better noise cancelation than the Sony’s (IMHO) and also more comfortable. I use them on my motorcycle under my helmet and they don’t have the same popping noise the QC20s had. The battery life is waaayyy too good also. I rode for 2hrs a day ago, and the battery went down to 80 percent. Ohh, and you can have two devices connected to it at the same time.
The reason I won’t give it 5 stars is because the app is buggy sometimes. And the build quality on the base is not all that great. Besides that solid pair of active noise canceling headphones

I previously had the wired version. If you’ve never tried Bose’s noise reduction products before, be prepared, it’s ASTOUNDING! We travel a lot, and I can’t fly without these anymore. I’ve also found that these make mowing the lawn a much more peaceful experience. PLUS, the sound quality is exactly what you expect from Bose! This Bluetooth version is definitely more convenient and adds features that you control from your smartphone. The noise reduction is now adjustable, and you don’t have to worry about the cord getting caught on or tangled in something.

It took me weeks to search for an AirPods alternative for my phone calls and music at work. I really needed something with a good battery for all day usage and really wanted the noise canceling paired with good sound.
These BOSE are definitely delivering a very good comfort to wear them all day long; they have a battery life of 10 hours usage and the sound is also amazing.
But there are a lot alternatives delivering the same and also more features for $100 less!
I also expected a App with equalizer features at this price range. It’s bad that you don’t have the opportunity to test devices like that. I would have spent my money into Jabra neckband.

The headphones are very comfortable and the ear pieces are very light weight, you almost won't feel them. The noise-cancelling is decent, you can just be with yourself in a Starbucks with only a trace amount of ambient sound getting through. The battery life is as advertised, but I won't mind having a heavier neckband and extra battery life.

Bad stuff first (not that bad). I had to replace the buds to fit my ears. Apparently I did not install them correctly because one of them fell off and was lost in the Detroit Airport. Fortunately a very cool guy in the electronics store gave me a replacement set.... gratis.
Next, I use a Samsung S7 Edge. The volume on this headset is unacceptably low, even at full blast, even after adjusting the fine tuning. I do, however, believe that is a Samsung problem, not a BOSE problem.
Okay, that's why not five stars. Everything, and I mean everything, else is perfect. Bass, clarity, comfort, charging, ease of pairing, everything....
Buy these earphones.

I purchased the Bose soundsport couple weeks ago. It was an awesome headset. No complaints. Than I notice this was just released. I have been looking for an in ear noise canceling headphones for a while now and this seemed like a perfect match. Only thing I didn't like about it was the what goes around your neck, but I decided to give it a try anyways. Bestbuy exchanged the soundsport for these without a question (because they are awesome)
Took it out of the package, put it on, paired it to both of my phones (had 70% battery) and didn't take it off for 6-7 hours later. Extreamly comfertable, you forget you have anything around your neck (and I do have a pretty thick neck) sound quality is amazing, call quality is amazing, people could hear me fine even if I had the window down in my car while driving And did I mentioned the noise canceling feature works like a charm? $300 + $50 warranty might sound like a lot but I have tried several different in ear headphones and none are any where near as good. Well worth the money.

I loved these ear buds. The fit was great, the sound was outstanding, great battery life and the wireless feature was so convenient. But then there was the yoke. I wore that thing for a whole day trying to get accustomed to it but it kept slipping around until the wire got tight and pulled out the ear bud. Then there was the sweating - it got wet and slippery when I exerted myself. I had to take them back and exchange them for the QC 20, which is pretty much the same thing but wired.

I purchased these specifically for an 11 hour motorcycle ride. The noise cancelling was beyond believable... The music I played was clear and not defining. The battery lasted (with constant use) for around 10 hours. I then started using them on flights. I watch video's on my phone using the blue tooth connection to the headset and the sound quality and noice cancelling are every bit as good as my BOSE QC20 over the ear headphones. I have only had the product for about a month so I can't speak to lasting quality, but they are very impressive thus far!

very comfortable, awesome NC, and typical bose sound quality
Better than QC20: wireless, control vol and NC
QC20 has better battery life, and can plug into audio jacks on flights
Overall I use QC30 for most things, and only use QC20 when I know there is a good movie on the plane

I read reviews on this product and was slightly concerned about the piece that goes around your neck, but it isn't a bother at all for me. Best Buy's return policy allowed me 15 days, (I think), to return if I didn't like them. I travel for work and knew I would be able to test them out and return within the time frame they gave me. No need. I really like how, along with the app, you can control the amount of noise cancelling you want. Great feature. They are comfortable and I wore them on a 5 hour flight. I own over the ear wired versions of Bose noise cancelling headphones and these are as good if not better than those. They are more comfortable inside the ear instead of on top. This is a great feature for me. The wireless is a great bonus as well. However, on flights where I need to be tethered to the sound system for inflight entertainment, I bring my wired version of the ear buds. All much easier to pack in a small carryon.

I use earbuds at the gym and under ear protection headphones when I am working with loud equipment. I downloaded the app and am amazed at how well the noise canceling feature works at the gym. It gets rid of a lot of ambient noise. I can also set it to pick up the surrounding noise, if it's something that I need to hear. The earbuds are very comfortable. The battery lasts a long time before needing charging. The battery level is stated in the earbuds when I turn them on and is also shown graphically on my phone screen so I'm not surprised with a dead battery. They are Bose, so incredible sound is a given. I listen to music and audiobooks. Both sound great. The case is protective and I keep it right in my purse. It conveniently holds the cord and extra earbuds. I bought these at the Best Buy store and found the blue shirt insight very helpful. If I didn't like them, I could bring them back, so I felt good.

I purchased these after everyone was complaining about not understanding me with my LG Tone Platinum headset. I was reluctant because the price was $100 more. I read the reviews and decided to take a chance. Boy am I a happy camper. The sound quality is amazing and I have not had one complaint about the quality of my connection when talking on the phone. The noise canceling is awesome. There is zero noise leak, and that will be a huge bonus while traveling on a plane or in close proximity to others. I am super happy and wish I could give them a 5 star. However, the ear buds do not retract and that is a negative. I wish Bose could work something out with LG to get the rights to make the ear buds retractable. Therefore, I am giving these a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Amazing sound and comfort as one expects with Bose!!! I love the noise canceling feature along with the Bose app that works well with it! Battery life is great as well and the only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is I wish it had retractable cords as they get annoying at the gym being restricted in length and always dangling. I also don’t get how their is no way to change the song from the headphones you have to use the phone to do so but can control volume and noise cancelling from the headphones.

The noise cancellation is unbelievable. The sound is just what you would expect from Bose, excellent. Also, when using for talking on the phone, nobody can tell I'm using bluetooth. Batteries last a very long time.

I have Mysophonia & purchased these headphones for the noise reduction to use around the house especially when there are 3 boys (7 & 8 year old) playing on Xbox. I can still hear them, but it really just tones down their noise ! Listening to music from Pandora on my iPhone is wonderful.the sound quality is great. I purchased a 2nd pair for a niece in college who has ADHD & she says it has greatly helped her to focus in her studies. The band is comfortable on neck; yes it does twist some but it is not a problem for me. They work great while riding in a car and greatly reduces the road noise. Ear pieces are comfortable; I like how they do not go down into the ear like ear plugs. I've had no problem with them coming out. Product comes with 3 different ear pieces, so just see which fits you. They are quick to recharge.

I wasn't sure what to expect from these. I already had the 10, 20, 35 noise canceling headphones. Again, BOSE comes through, these are very good sounding and comfortable headphones. These are my go-to wireless headphones while doing things. The 35's are better for over ear but these 30's are really good too. You won't be disappointed.
