Best earphone for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned many earbuds: all jbirds, sennheiser, etymotic, bose qc 20, apple, shure se846, and more. I used the jbirds mostly because they had the best combination of portability, battery life, and of course sound quality. The qc30s have surpassed jbird in sound quality for sure. They rival much more expensive earphones. If you already own the qc20, then you would just be adding wireless with these headphones. So they are essentially bluetooth qc20s. Battery life has been pretty good, but not quite as good as the jbirds (about 7 hours or so). Microphone and controls are what you would expect. But you can turn up (or down) the noise cancelling. However, I always keep the noise-cancelling on max because they just sound better that way...they really seem to lose sound quality when you turn the noise cancelling off. The neck ring doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. If you ride a motorcycle these are a must have. BUT you have to wear your helmet. The open design of the "stay hear" tips don't work well with wind blowing directly on them. But with the helmet, A LOT of wind and engine noise is reduced. So, these have become my everyday headphones. I like bluetooth, battery life, noise-cancellation, and most of all sound quality. Hope this helped.

Not cheap, but they're Bose and they rule
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These were for my wife, who has challenges trying to find earbuds that are comfortable. Bose corded, athletic earbuds had worked for her in the past, so we gambled (a lot) on these prior to a vacation. She bought JBL over-the-ear noise-cancelling headphones last year (I tried to get her to get Bose then...), and was never really happy with them. With a little research on the available earbud options, and my history with Bose's noise-cancelling technology, we went with these. And she absolutely loves them - very, very comfortable, long battery life, and phenomenal sound. There are obviously cheaper options, but if you have the extra disposable income, Bose is always the ticket for noise cancellation.

BUY.... BUY NOW..... GREAT Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased Klipsch R6 Neckband returned them due to comfort and reading about these Bose QuietComfort 30s. OK what we know Bose has GREAT Sound and make a quality product... the neckband is comfortable and wears great the ear pod cables are high on the band so you don't need very long cables. This fits me perfectly... now using it with your cell phone... since the mic and controls are on the right Ear Bud cable I recommend using that ear bud(the Right Ear Bud) if not the mic will dangle and dampen your voice or worse you will hear scratching sounds as it dangles while walking or doing other activities. Overall this is a Great Buy and you will be well rewarded with Great sounds comfortable ear buds that stay in your ear with the patented Stay Put+ ..

Bose Quiet Comfort 30
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this because it was wireless and had noise cancellation. The earbuds work well when inserted and are comfortable. Bose mobile application works well to control the headphones. Sound quality is great as with all Bose products. As a mobile phone earpiece it is ok, nothing spectacular. It was meant to work with music rather than answer your phone. It is a little bulkier than I would like to have it but the bulk gives you the longer battery life.

Hands down best headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset truly is amazing, the ability to turn down the noise cancellation without removing the ear bud is my favorite part (although it doesn't work too well outside to have a conversation as it projects ALL outside noises into the ear bud i.e. wind, birds, cars, which are definitely louder than the average voice. 4 stars instead of 5 for this only) but when inside at the push of a button, you can go from la la land to freaking people out cause you can hear every word they say while still listening to your music without having to take out and reset the ear bud in your ear. Again, not only does it turn down the noise cancellation, it projects the outside noises into your ear without turning off the music or taking out the ear bud! This part is super important as you can not test these out in the store only because they go into your ear (some peoples ears are straight disgusting) Sound quality, as always with Bose is off the charts. Battery life differs on how often you use noise cancellation, and level of volume on the headset, I have had it for about 2 months now and have yet to had it die in one day. The new Bose app is also pretty freagin awesome, makes using any Bose device seamless and easy. LOVE this headset. And I'd like to thank Thomas at the Wadsworth and Crestline location, I had no clue what headset I might buy that day, but Thomas had all the information about every headset on the shelf. Really helped me make the right decision, and hung in there like a champ as I went back and forth asking questions about almost every headset. Also did not respond one time with "I'm not sure." Dude actually cares and knows his stuff, give him a raise.

work great
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Good The Bose QuietControl 30 is well-built, very comfortable to wear, offers variable noise-canceling and excellent sound quality for a Bluetooth headphone. It's also sweat-resistant and can be used as a sports headphone. Works well as a headset. The Bad Pricey. Noise-canceling isn't as effective as QuietComfort 20 or QuietComfort 35. No wired option to plug into airline entertainment systems. The Bottom Line So long as you don't expect the most powerful noise-canceling, the QuietControl 30 works really well as an everyday headphone. You can use it at the gym or for running.

Comfortable in ear. Awkward on neck.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s my first pair with the collar so I’m still getting used to it. Best fit compared to Jaybird. Not as loud as hoped. Still, heard things in song I’ve never heard before.

Amazing Earbuds, but don't last long
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm currently on my fourth pair and the last three pairs had major technician issue. The first pair, one of the earbuds stopped working and so did the second pair. The third pair didn't turn on after using them for about six months. Even though I had so many issues with these Bose earbuds, I still love the product. They are the most comfortable earbuds and the sound quality is amazing. I religious use them on daily basis and I have to have on me most of the time. I work in a loud and noisy environment and these earbuds save me from having a headache. I hope Bose improves the quality of these earbuds and offer some form of compensation for having me replace these earbuds so many times. With that being said, purchasing the 2 year warranty from Best Buy is a must. Otherwise, you will be lucky if they can last for more than 7 months. Since I have had to replace them so often, I paid $70 for each replacement in order to keep another 2 year warranty for my new pair. If I do the math, I spend $70 each time I had them replaced so that comes out to $280 and plus the $300 earbuds. In total, these Bose earbuds came out to $580 without counting the tax on the earbuds. Be mindful what you are getting yourself into and so far these are the best noise cancellation earbuds that also offer the best sound quality.

Love these headphones!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these as a gift for my husband’s birthday but quickly swiped them for my own use. I was hesitant due to the price but you get what you pay for. These headphones have the Bose quality sound you would expect and are very comfortable to wear. The noise cancelling features are great at removing background noise while listening to music for a submersible experience AND do not transfer background noise into your calls. They are easy to set up and have an app for user defined controls. I use them at work both for listening to music and taking calls and the battery lasts a full day. VERY SATTISFIED!

Lightweight and Compact
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just recently purchased the Bose QuietControl 30 wireless earphones and so far so good. They are lightweight, so they aren't bulky when resting around your neck. They are compact and come with a carrying case that makes them easy to travel with as the case fits easily into a briefcase or carry on bag. The noise cancellation works well. I mostly use them for business phone calls or listening to music on airplanes. The earphones are easy to pair with your phone via blue-tooth and the Bose app. The only con is the only color option as of right now is black. I wouldn't have minded looking at other options like white, blue, or green for example.

Noise canceling is excellent!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was unsure how I felt about such a large investment for headphones, but I use headphones 2-8 hours a day, 5 days a week- so I went for it. I will never go back. The sound canceling in excellent, the battery lasts a fair amount of time (make sure you remember to turn it off when you're not using it), and it's comfortable both in the ear buds and the neckband. Some things that I was less enthused about was that it moves quite a bit on my neck, the wings on the ear buds do not detach, and standby drains the battery a lot.

Bluetooth cuts out constantly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been waiting for these earbuds for a long time, and I have to say I'm somewhat disappointed so far. The sound quality is good, and the noise cancellation is excellent (although not as good as the QC 20s or QC 35s, surprisingly). And they are much more comfortable than they look--you might think that the neck band would be problematic, but it's so light that you forget it's even there, even after hours of usage. So there's a lot of good here. And just one drawback, but it's a doozy: Bluetooth connectivity. I experienced it first when walking from room to room when the QC 30s were paired to my iPhone. I thought maybe the Bluetooth range wasn't great--not ideal for a $300 pair of earbuds, but not a deal breaker. But this morning I paired the QC 30s with my brand new Apple Watch, and the same exact thing happened. I experienced the dreaded sound of drops, skips, and re-starts while going for a jog--it was if I'd been morphed back into the early 90s and was trying to jog while balancing a portable disc player on one elbow. To me, lousy Bluetooth connectivity IS a deal breaker. I can live with less noise cancellation effectiveness and a weak Bluetooth signal range, but it absolutely HAS to work with the Apple Watch (or any smart watch that is right there on your person). Unless this is a known issue that Bose plans a firmware upgrade for, I will probably end up exchanging these to see if I needed up with a defective unit. If the same problem continues, then I guess I'll be returning these altogether and waiting for the QC 40s debut. Disappointed but still optimistic that maybe I just got a bad pair--will update this review accordingly.

Perfect for traveling
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My job keeps me on the go so earphones make my life easier. When looking for new headphones my wishlist included the following: 1. Small case to pack 2. Noise cancelling 3. Durable 4. Connects to multiple devices 5. Great sound quality 5. Cordless 6. Decent battery These headphones have met all of the above and I’ve been really happy with them so far. I wasn’t excited about the look of the part that goes around my neck, however it no longer bothers me and will hopefully make them more durable. They are expensive, but they are a great product!

Excellent sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The earbuds fit really great, sound is excellent & the battery life is second to none; what I did not like Is i had to adjust the noise cancellation every time I got a phone call & the halo around the neck kept moving around which is very aggravating; the 1st two weeks I really didn't think I would keep them but in the end the pros overcame the cons & now I don't leave home without them

Great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose QuietControl Earphones are the best for the active individual. When riding bikes, walking, working the earphones are light weight. You can set the amount of noise reduction. This allows you to pick up some sounds to keep you safe when biking or walking.

They are good, but not QC35 good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.QC35 are hands down the best headphones I have ever had. Soft, light, battery life is amazing. I bought the 30s because I need a pair for work. I don't like the collar. It moves too much and gets crossed eyed. Sound quality is ok, not great. Kind of bubbly and constant firmware updates. I'm hoping the find that right config. They are comfortable sans the collar mess.

Great pair of earbuds
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the ear buds. I travel a lot with sports team and these are perfect for bus rides with loud athletes. Nose cancelling is excellent and they are comfortable enough to be able to sleep on a bus or plane and not wake up with sore ears. Also, love the wireless aspect. Just makes everything easier when you aren't having to mess with the cord.

Good performance but expensive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound with average noise blocking. The battery doesn't last as long as I would like but it gets me through my commute. I thought the piece that rests on the neck would bother me but it actually works to keep the headphones in place. The lows sound great for an in ear device but the highs are a bit muffled.

Very pleased
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m very pleased with these wireless headphones. The noise canceling feature works very well for eliminating ambient noise while still allowing you to hear your spouse. Assuming that isn’t a problem, you’ll be pleased with them as well.
