Great sound canceling with some small drawbacks

I bought my pair of QC30's in order to use the sound cancellation while sleeping, I am currently living in a noisy environment. The sound canceling is great, the sound is very good depending on what genre of music you are listening to. Strings and vocals sound great, but bass heavy tracks tend to distort at high volumes. Also these earbuds lack volume big time, so if you like to listen your music Loud look elsewhere. In my opinion bose needs to stop limiting the volume on their products and let its customers decide what an excessive volume level is. Overall these suit my needs at night and in the gym. But I have a pair of Bowers & Wilkins p5 wireless (non sound canceling)for when I want to go loud. Overall a solid choice for sound canceling earbuds

This Bose product solves many problems associate with corded headphones. They are very easy to use-no set up required at all. You don't even know you are wearing them. Excellent sound as you would expect from Bose.

I work at a oil field accessory shop and there's a lot of machine noises and pressure air guns drying accessories next to my desk . Every other noise seems to be reduced but when the air guns go off facing the opposite side ,my ear phones throw a really loud static sound like there about to blow or something and I'm bummed out about that but I'm still keeping them since every other sound is reduced and I don't have to have a song/movie playing full blast just to listen.

I think I was hoping for a little better. They do sound good. Probably as good as any I have used including Beats. They are comfortable in your ears. Much better than Beats. The noise cancelling feature works, but I was hoping for more. I wanted to be able to use them to mow grass. I can, however, I still need to turn the volume up louder than I'd like. What I hate is how the buds don't retract. I use LG daily and they are great for long calls and listening in general. I can retract them and I almost forget I have them on. These things constantly dangling when I'm not using them is a serious pain! To the point they may go back. Also, I find the battery life isn't really great compared to what I'm use to. If I use them for a couple of hours today, I'd better charge them. Otherwise, they'll be dead by the middle of use the day.

I had purchased these headphones after my LG Platinum headphones started acting up, they were under warranty so I traded them in. I first got the Bose ear piece bluetooths that had their own charging case, but returned them in 3 days since they would hurt my ears. I saw these ones at best buy and red some reviews, then decided to go ahead and give them a try. They were $100 more than my LG headphones, but I have been extremely satisfied with them thus far. The headphones are very comfortable, battery life is roughly 6 hours listening to music or youtube. If only using them for calls, then it lasts around 5-7 hours, depending on phone call frequency and duration. Think the only thing I find a bit annoying is if it is still on when I turn on my car and my phone connects to it, my phone book on my car gets jumbled up with symbols. Reconnecting my phone to my car after turning the headphones off fixes the issue, my car being a 2010 BMW. So if can ignore that, then these are a really great set of headphones.

The sound quality is exceptional, I love the way the ear pieces 'lock' inside my ear preventing them from falling out. The battery life is questionable, they don't seem to last very long and have to recharge during the day - I mainly use them for telephone calls and occasionally use them for listening to music. The pairing distance is short possibly because the battery life is too short, the pairing distance seems to do better on a full charge.

These are very nice head phones and if you want a wireless light weight set of phones would excellent sound quality. It blocks out about 85% of airplane noise however you can still hear the announcements and does a good job at blocking the other noises. The are not as good as the QC35 over-the-ear but work well. If the price is too high for you then look at the Sony's 1000X BT they work just as well as these but they are over the ear phones.

These headphones are comfortable and have great battery life. This is my first pair of earbuds with controls on the cable that can actually be used blindly. The sound quality is great as is the noise cancellation. It is a shame that they randomly skip so much that it reminds me of a CD player without shock protection. A simple software update should fix this.

Pros. Great noise cancelling. Buds fit well. Battery life is good. Cons. The part that hangs around your neck angles inward slightly in the front and can become uncomfortable after a while. The neck part can sometimes spin around. Ive had to use Greek squad protection a few times on these 1 time they just quit 1 time after a trip to the gym they stopped(although they aren't rated sweat proof or anything they SHOULD be for the price.) 1 time the power button stopped working. The power button seemed to have dislodged from where it's mounted inside the neck loop because if i pushed really really hard i could still use it a few times until it fell further in.

Love the sound quality and the noise cancelation technology. Very impressive to do yard work and only hear the music. When I tried regular earbuds the difference was amazing. Fit in the ear is fine; however, the neckpiece is rather disconcerting. It never stays in place and invariably rotates 90 degrees so that it feels like it is choking you. A real annoyance but not a reason to not buy them. Definitely recommend.

I've previously owned the Bose QC 20i which is the wired noise canceling in ear headphones and was quite impressed with them, didn't think that a Bluetooth version would be as good but I honestly feel that Bose has proven me wrong. The Quietcontrol 30 provides amazing quality audio for in ear headphones and are the most comfortable that I have tried. I do like the noise cancelling level control feature even though it feels a bit gimmicky and I feel like they could have gone the extra step and allow the user to select a particular frequency to cancel. The 10hr battery life is another feature that I like and it is much better than many in ear Bluetooth headphones on the market. About the only thing I don't like is that the headphones are no longer pocketable, these headphones come in a pretty large case and the best place to carry them around would probable be around your neck, other than that I love them. So for portable I'll have to remove 1 star and give 4 out of 5 stars.

I got these to replace the wired set I had had for years, these headphones do a great job of noise cancellation and have great sound as do all Bose products. I was concerned with the collar type headphones initially but these feel great and just literally don’t feel like they are there, battery lasts great have used them on two overseas flights and never had any battery issue at all. Love these headphones!

This by far the best i have in my headphones collection. Comfortable and the noise cancellation using the Bose app works great. Just got it today and I have it all day and I don't have any ear fatigue, and I don't even notice the weight on my neck--I'm surprised how light it is. This is definitely a keeper!

I purchased this specifically for noise cancelling and it does a great job at it. I have used them on my flights overseas and they last for about 6ish hrs. They do not work as well or feel as comfortable as the over the ear headphones. The buds are surprising comfortable.

I bought these headphones for my husband to use at work, and after the first week of him using them, I’m so glad I splurged and purchased these exact ones! He’s a welder so the noise he hears at work is obnoxiously loud, and these amazing headphones cancel all that out on the lowest volume. Prior to these, he used regular Apple ear pods, and he said he could still hear the machinery through his music on the max volume. I listened to the difference myself, and these headphones are just amazing! You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to headphones. Highly recommend! The high price is well worth the damage it’s saving on your ears!
