I tried just about every ear bud comparable. The boss sound the best. Deep lows, clean highs. I would give them a five star if they got louder. I keep mine at max volume and max cancellation. I prefer them to my beats studio wireless, especially on a plane.

PROS: Excellent sound quality when listening to music. Outstanding noise cancellation. CONS: Inline controls awkward. Mic sounded excessively bright and picked up a lot of noise in noisy environments. When on a call, you hear your own voice. Earbuds dangle when not being used (no magnetic clasp like Samsung Level U). APP: Would be nice if the app had more features.

The neck brace is terrible, it moves around constantly. The back part is flat so it doesn't stay in place with the curve of your neck. The noise reduction is minimal but I can tell a difference sometimes. I opened the companion app and was unable to tell when it was working or not by sliding the bar back and forth when I first got them. The charge time long, but I don't think a solid eight hours is going to be the norm. I have always bought the wired bose headphones and waited for ever for them to bring these out and bought them as soon as I could justify the high price to myself. If you have had a pair of bose before these are the same fit and quality, which always leave me satisfied. Also there is some clipping with the music when I they move around and I turn my head to the right. It also happens more when the batteries are low.

First off, know your price point; yes these headphones are expensive but their use can justify the price (especially if you have a coupon or gift card to help). The sound is amazing!! As soon as I put them in my ears and turn music on I don’t even need to up the noise cancellation...they are that good on their own. Add in the noise cancellation and you can’t even hear the washing machine when you are standing right next to it. If you are working remote and need to tune out your environment these will do the trick. Phone calls are superb as well. Great speaker with clarity and easy to hear your conversation companion as well. If you need battery life, I can’t say how long these will take to die. Advertised at 10hrs, I’ve only managed to use the battery down to 60%. The only down size to these headphones is that they are not good for high intensity exercise. They handle walking just fine but at a run they flop all over the neck. All in all, a great set of headphones for the person or professional who is interested in a high quality headphone and plans to use it appropriately.

The Noise Cancelation is pretty good, not to mention the sound quality. The ear piece is outstanding, I forget I am wearing them. Wife not so much!

I love them. Use them all the time. The Bluetooth works great people can not even tell I’m not using the phone. Great sound and battery life.

I loved these headphones. I can be a headphone snob as I use them at work and then when I get home doing just about anything. These headphones sounded great, the microphone was amazing, they were comfortable all day and they were amazing to travel with given the adjustability of the noise canceling feature and the ability to switch devices. Unfortunately they would not stay on my neck if I were working out or doing something on a job site unless the were in my ears which isn't always practical. Long story short, they fell of on a job site and were stolen before I noticed. Very disappointed as I obviously found finally found a great pair of headphones and I will not be dropping another $300 to replace them.

Sound quality is great, highs and lows sound crisp and defined. Battery life is long enough to last through any and all exercise sessions.

Typical amazing Bose sound, the noise canceling feature is well worth the price. Great battery and easy to use, charge, wear, etc.

Battery life is great. Sound quality is great its Bose! If one down fall when flying I do wish i had a little more volume as some movies do play a little quiet

I really wanted to love these, but I had to return them. The headphones sound wonderful. I tried all of the major wireless headphones and these were my favorite. Comfort was perfect for 10 hours in the office and wearing around the house. Unfortunately, the microphone and call-quality on the other end was so bad they are unusable. Clients could not hear what I was saying and it picked up all of the background noise. To them, it sounds like you are in the ocean when sitting in a quiet room. I went with the Bose Soundsport. I only wish Bose used the same mic in these as the soundsport. Then, I could own my perfect headphones. If you aren't concerned with the mic, they are definitely my favorite over Beats, Jaybirds, and Apple.

So it’s really irritating to hear the sound of a planes turbines on a long flight. I got these just in time for an extended flight and it 95% drowned out the sound of the turbines the entire flight. I was able to watch a few movies with very very little sound breaking through. Definitely not something to wear while driving because you can’t hear anything, so not the safest option. But for office work, travel where you’re not the driver, or to completely surround yourself in music then these are perfect!

Best I’ve ever used. Great sound. Appx. 12 hrs of battery life per charge. Quiet control awesome. one star subtracted for price. I can’t go back to lower quality headphones. I just won’t.

I have a pair of QC 35 headphones. Love them. I wanted some earbuds for comfort and ease of wearing while moving around. I originally purchased SoundSport true wireless earbuds. Liked them (not love), but am really spoiled by Bose noise cancelling technology. So I traded them in for QC 30 earbuds. They are phenomenal, killing all of the ambient sounds. If I have to complain, they let in a little too much voice noise. While flying, I could hear a little too much of the conversation behind me. The unique earbud tips stay in my ear really well and are pretty comfortable... for having something in your ear. With as much travel and workouts as I do, it was well worth the expense.

These are very comfortable, battery seems to last a long time, love being able to adjust the noise cancellation level, easy to control with Bose app, now just waiting for app feature allowing two sets to be controlled at same time on same device so the girlfriend and I can watch a movie together on my iPad, while flying, without cords!

The sound is typical excellent Bose quality. The sound dampening worked very well. I was doing some sanding with a power sander and could hear the music very well. Cons: the base piece is designed to rest around your neck. It kept twisting on me, which was somewhat annoying. Also, the sound kept skipping during playback from my iPhone. I found out there is an app that is intended to work with the headphones. The app intercepts the playback from another app (like Music) rather than playing the music directly. All rather complicated to get good playback. Overall I find it a decent product. The price is about 25% to 30% too high imho.

These are nice and the fit really well, I forget I have them areound my neck sometimes, they are not very loud though but they work good for the noise cancelling

Have used these on several long international flights and I'm very impressed with the excellent sound, noise reduction and battery life for an in-ear style. Had to deduct a star because of connectivity issues while not too far away from the source: Was working out and only about 15' from my phone when the sound quality started to deteriorate. Can't say for certain the cause was the Bose product however for this price expected to have better connectivity to my iPhone 6. Maybe that is normal for this technology but potential buyers should be aware of that possible issue when deciding to spend this much on a device that competitors sell for significantly less.
