We're happy to hear that you enjoyed the noise cancellation of our product, and sorry to hear that you were having issues with the microphone picking up background sound.
We tuned the communication microphones, mainly used for telephone conversations to the human voice frequency range. They automatically adjust the gain (microphone volume) for “low talkers”. In a loud environment where there are voices in the background, it’s possible the microphones will pick up those background voices and bring up the gain, meaning that the person you speak to will hear background sounds very loudly.
As contrary as it may sound, we would advise that when using these for phone calls, to talk louder at the microphone, as this will adjust the frequency range, and will pick up less background audio.
