Need to purchase battery separately. 2. AC power cord should have been a little longer. Review --------- Build Quality ----------------- Build quality is excellent. It is sturdy and its made of good quality material. The grill in the front is also made of metal so you wont tear the front of the speakers. Its got a nice handle as well for carrying around. Usage ------- The speaker can be placed on a stand or like a vertical tilt or horizontal tilt. The speaker automatically adjusts the equalizers based on how you place the speaker If you are placing the speaker horizontally, just tilt the Bose logo also horizontally so that the speaker adjusts the equalizers accordingly. My son recently started on acoustic guitar and wanted to get something that will supplement the guitar music it has 2 channels, one for the vocal and other for instrumental such as a guitar. This thing also play as a Bluetooth speaker and nothing really fits the bill more than the Bose S1 Pro. The 2 channels and the Bluetooth source have adjustment for treble , bass and volume. The speaker also has a reverb function to control the spatial representation of sound so even if you are in a smaller room it will make you feel like a stadium. Pairing to the phone is easy, hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds to put the speaker into pairing mode and then select Bose S1 Pro on your phone to connect. When paired successfully, the Bluetooth button turns solid white from flashing white. The speaker works great as a Bluetooth speaker with crisp highs and balanced base. You wont be disappointed. Get this speaker!

Great speaker but I got the onw without battery so that turned out to be a hassle. It has to be plugged in so limited portability. Will be getting the one with battery. Other than that, like every other Bose speaker, powerful, great quality, sound is pristine.

Bose is one of the best when it comes to sound quality so it is not surprising that this system was even better than I expected. First off there is nothing else on that I have ever seen that can even come close to comparing to this system for a few reasons. First I would like to talk about the overall design. It is extremely small for a PA system. I was expecting it to be much larger. Granted it is one of the biggest Bose speakers I have ever had but compared to other PA system it is super compact and easy to take anywhere. Although I did not have one to review you can also buy an optional battery making the entire system wireless and even more portable. It is made of high quality and heavy duty materials. It also has a handle at the top which makes it even easier to carry and move around. The speaker is also designed to sit up straight or on its site as while as a few other angles. Next is the sound quality. Since it is smaller than a lot of other large PA system I did not expect it to be quite as loud. But I was very wrong. The system can get extremely loud without losing sound quality. I have another PA which is at least 5 times the size and the Bose was able to get much louder and overall just sounds much better. The last thing is the features. On the back of this system it has many different inputs for microphones and even a guitar input. With multiple different adjusts to fine tune the exact sound you would like to get. It also has Bluetooth so you can wirelessly connect and play audio. I would recommend this PA system if you need somethin for larger events. But it is also good for just about any kind of environment and since it is compact you can easily use it indoors or outdoors. It could even be used for less formal things such as karaoke or just simply to plug in your guitar and jam.
