I recently purchased the Bose S1 Pro+ Portable Wireless PA System from Best Buy, hoping for a reliable and high-quality audio solution for my events and gatherings. While the product itself has some merits, my overall experience has been marred by disappointment, both with the performance of the product and Best Buy's price match policy.
Let me start with the positives. The Bose S1 Pro+ does offer decent sound quality, and its portability is a definite plus. Setting it up is relatively straightforward, and it's convenient to have a wireless option for my audio needs.
However, my disappointment stems from two main issues. Firstly, despite purchasing the product just 28 days ago, I found myself unable to get a price match when the price dropped shortly after my purchase. As a loyal customer, this lack of flexibility is disheartening and leaves me questioning Best Buy's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Secondly, the performance of the Bose S1 Pro+ did not meet my expectations. While the sound quality is adequate, it falls short in terms of volume and clarity, especially in larger spaces. I found myself constantly having to adjust settings and struggling to achieve the level of audio coverage I needed for my events.
Overall, I regret my decision to invest in the Bose S1 Pro+ Portable Wireless PA System. Not only did I encounter disappointment with the product's performance, but I also experienced frustration with Best Buy's price match policy. As a consumer, I expect more from both the products I purchase and the retailers I choose to support.
I hope this review serves as feedback for both Bose and Best Buy to improve their offerings and customer service practices in the future.

Honestly, the speaker overall was wonderful to use for music especially when its battery life lasted longer than I expected! I would definitely buy another one if I had the opportunity.

Bass at higher than moderate volume is unusable. For me, the optional accessories like the wireless transmitters (additional $150 each) are what made this the standout, run & gun, swiss army knife unit that edged out the Electrovoice Everse 8. Trade-off is the slightly bigger/heavier everse 8 packs in a more capable 8” woofer (and around 300 more watts of power), making it a small PA loudspeaker with some cool Bluetooth features vs the S1 which is a power Bluetooth speaker that simply has a pro audio feature of a mixer built-in.
Ultimately, if convenience is king for you over room filling sound (again, not recommended if you need to reproduce frequencies below 150Hz at volume) and $850 (with wireless tx) isn’t a blocker, then this is a sleek option.

The sound quality is great. It fills the entire 3 bed 2 bath house with the system being turned to half volume while still sounding clear with great bass.
