Excited about idea. Received them and found the cup size that fit ear well. I am a side sleeper and worried they would dig into ear. They do not. If you use a really firm pillow, you may have slight discomfort but after a week my skin has toughened up a little and no discomfort at all. They charge in case, and then you use phone to load sounds and set an alarm and then off they go. The noise cancelling is excellent, white noise or sound of nature or whatever you choose fills in and off you go to sleep. The alarm is needed since you loose track of outside world. It is a pleasant sound and plenty loud since it is in your ear. My only complaint - The app does not have a sound maintenance page. When I first tried to download a new sound it kept failing. After multiple attempts I finally got a screen telling me the memory was full and listed the sounds so I could select one to delete before I could download a new one. But the app does not have a means to get to this on its own so you have to hope it pops up when your download of a new sound fails. Hopefully Bose will release a new firmware or app update to address. But once you have the sounds you like, you rarely ever look at new sounds so I can live with it.

Love this product. I travel often staying with different people. This is a lifesaver when your roommate doesn’t like sleeping with the TV on or they snore, or you have annoying loud hotel guests next door or walking by your door. Favorite sound is “swell” the sound of the ocean. I was surprised how the fit comfortably right out of the box. My ears are sensitive and I usually can’t wear in the ear buds. As a side sleeper, no issues or discomfort. As far as hearing for safety alarms, smoke or carbon monoxide alarms, you will still hear them as long as you don’t maximize the volume which is totally not necessary as you want to sleep soundly. Another great benefit for me is the alarm. I like to wake up before my roommates and usually use my phone which awakens them too. With my sleepbuds, the alarm is only heard by me. I have it set to start low and gradually gets louder. I hope that Bose will add some new sounds eventually. Love this product!

Recently, I've been testing out the Bose Sleepbuds II and wow, what can I say, they have been fantastic. I have always really struggled to get to sleep and get into a consistent sleep schedule so for my new year's resolution I decided to get at least 8 hours of sleep a day and purchased these to maybe help me get into that routine. Yes, it is a large investment for something that only plays a certain select range of sounds which I found annoying at first, but then I started to realize that that is the exact beauty of these earphones. You can't play anything else through them except Bose's sleep sounds - it's designed that way so you can't accidentally watch videos or scroll scroll through social media with them on. After a few days, as soon as i started putting these earphones in, my brain instantly knew it was time for sleep as I've now associated the sleepbuds with sleep time and so it really helps to minimize bedroom distractions and fall asleep on time. They are also fit snugly in my ears and they have yet to fall out of my ears during sleep and I'm a rough sleeper tossing and turning all night! The sleepbuds have been helping me in my college goal of achieving 8 hours of sleep a day by getting me into a consistent sleep schedule and the sound library is also not too shabby either. Yes, they are a bit expensive for something that purely plays white noise, but if you're someone that wants to sleep good every night, I would definitely recommend if you're someone looking to get a better night's sleep! I recently purchased the Bose - Sleepbuds II from Best Buy. I previously purchased a pair of the Bose - Sleepbuds I about 2-3 years ago. The Sleepbuds I were recalled due to a battery charging issue. The Bose SleepBuds I and Sleepbuds II both provide the white noise I need to fall asleep and help block out the ringing in my ears (Tinnitus). The Bose Sleepbuds II provide 10 different white noises that come preloaded on the ear pieces. You can add additional white noises from the selection in the Bose Sleepbuds II App. I fall asleep very quickly and there is not a noise from my girlfriend or the pets that roam the house at night that wakes me up. When my alarm for work goes off I am the only one that can hear it. I am not waking up my girlfriend when it is time for me to get up for work. The only drawback is these expensive ($249.00) Bose Sleepbuds II cannot be used for any purpose but playing the white noise. It would have been great if any audio from your phone could be heard. Still, even at this price and the limited usable the Sleepbuds II are well worth the investment. A great nights sleep sometimes at a high price.

After going through two sets of Bose Sleepbuds I, I am seriously hoping they have the problems worked out. This has been the only product that has allowed me to sleep through the night. My spouse is a loud snorer and I am a light sleeper. I have tried other earplugs and noise cancelling earbuds, but nothing fits snugly enough in my ears to work. The Bose product fits comfortably in my ears, does not fall out, and produces pleasant enough sounds/white noise. This second version has some added sound options beyond those in version I. The alarm works well, The volume is easy to adjust. I have not had the connectivity issues with version II that I had with version I. The shape of the earbuds has changed slightly from the first version. They are more comfortable now. If they continue to work, I will be a happy and satisfied customer. If sleeping through noise is an issue for you, these should do the trick.

They dull most sounds and actually blocks other sounds. My hubby snores and I can finally sleep! Good assortment of sounds that you can choose from, lasts all nite. Even has an alarm. The ear buds themselves are soft, don’t hurt the ear at all. I used them all night the first night I got them.

They’re much more comfortable than expected, and the sound is great, the app is great. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I sleep on my stomach and my side a lot, so for me personally with the way I sleep they can hurt my ears a little sometimes. Hoping these help me adjust more to sleeping on my back... just not quite there yet! Overall great product and do recommend. The alarm option is great too. Much more peaceful than my iPhone alarm.

Overall I’m content with these sleep buds. I was on the fence about returning them but decided to keep them because they did help me sleep more soundly. Initially my ears felt sore after wearing them (my ears are small and I use the smallest ear tips) and I found them distracting when I slept. I would take them out halfway through the night. Gradually I got used to them and they don’t bother me anymore. However, I’m a side sleeper (left side only) and I can’t wear the left ear bud because of this. They dig into my left ear and it’s too uncomfortable. So I only use the right ear bud and that does a good enough job of muffling sound for me. I have not had any battery issues with these. When the ear buds are in they block out sound really well. I can hear outside sounds a tiny bit, but it’s not distracting. Since I only use one ear bud for sleep, I don’t really use the connectivity features. They really are too pricey given all of these caveats, but again I decided to keep them because I found some workarounds that helped me.

I had 4 pairs of the v1 Sleepbuds. I only bought on pair, shortly after they were released, but Bose replaced those original buds 3x in that 1st year. When they worked, they were great. I had the charging magnets break off 2 of the pairs making them uncharitable. The batteries went bad in the other two where they wouldn’t charge >56%. Bose was great about it though and re-laced each set. When they decided to cut their losses and redesign them, they gave me my money back. I’ve had these v2 buds for a week now. They are light years better. The form is better, the magnets that help charge them are much studied, and when put on the charger, they line up immediately and always charge (v1 was finicky about how you lined them up and wouldn’t always charge). I’m very happy with the new design so far. The sound choice are great and the batteries last all night. I highly recommend these.

I want to give theae a great review. These sleepbuds are so comfortable, you dont know they are in your ear. The sound is so good too! I bought these in March and by October the left bud would die around 7 hours. Then 6 and now about 5 hours. Such a bummer. These are pricey to say the least, and so suprised by Bose.

Good product, they work as promised for masking noise to sleep. They are SUPER comfortable and stay in your ears the whole night while sleeping. They’re just very expensive for something that you cannot use with any other app on your phone. The sleepbuds only work with the Bose app, so these earbuds are literally only for sleeping. The Bose app (which you only get access to after purchasing the sleepbuds) needs work though. Sometimes I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and want to adjust the volume of my sleepbuds, but you have to open the app in order to do this (volume buttons on phone do not work). Every once in a while when I open the app to adjust volume or pick a new sound, it will say that my sleepbuds have disconnected (even though I’m still hearing the sound that I chose). At this point I can just stick with my current volume and sound or I have to take the sleepbuds out, put them in their charging case and re-connect them. This sucks when it’s the middle of the night. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, I just wish the app was more user friendly.

I was skeptical but needed something that would block out external noise as well as be comfortable to wear through the night. These sleepbuds satisfies both of those requirements. I was amazed in how comfortable they are, even when sleeping on them. They stay in place and did I tell you how comfortable they are?? I like the ability to change out the sounds and the built in alarm ensures that i can setup a wake up time and not oversleep. I really do feel that these sleepbuds have improved my quality of sleep and quality of life.

Blocks out the snoring (until the snoring gets absurdly loud!). Great sounds to choose from. Easy to use. Great for travel. They are comfortable and don't fall out in the middle of the night.

Delivered within a week, the settings are easy to understand and the quality is great. The sounds are perfect to help you relax and remain relaxed all night. It works great as well in the day time, it helps go into a deep sleep. As a “light sleeper” these headphones have increased my sleep from 4 to 7 hours. They’re super comfortable, fit great, they don’t fall off and no matter how you sleep they’re not bothersome at all. Worth the price for the quality and definitely the improvement in my sleep.

they are not noise cancelling like other bose and can only connect with the sleep bud app (so you can't listen to any music, etc. - only the slect "sleep sounds" in the catalog but they are comfortable and do help block out snorers. You can even sleep comfortably on your side. Charge does not last that long.

I was worried these would be distracting when trying to sleep, but they are so small they took very little time to get used to. Only drawback is having to preload a sound through the app. Usually last at least 8 hours and effectively mask snoring.

These earbuds serve a very specific function for me. I wear them all night, every night since purchase, listening to different tracks within the Bose app. They absolutely deliver for the purpose I bought them. A full 8 hours of sleep with battery left to spare. I travel a lot for work and these allow me to get a full night sleep by blocking out just about all external noises. Also, these stay in my ears all night and have they yet to fall out. As a side sleeper, I wasn’t sure how that would work. Would 100% buy again.

Bose has created a name for itself and it's not by accident. These earbuds are awesome. They fit comfortably in your ear and you can choose from White noise ambient sounds soothing meditative sounds and noise blocking sounds. There are many options and you choose the various different sounds you would like. There is an alarm option so you don't have to worry about missing your alarm because of the earbuds in your ears. This is an awesome product. I can't say anything bad about this product.

I love the charging case! It's sturdy, sleek and functional. I particularly like how the earbuds magnetically attach to there designated slots in the charging case so there's no fear of dropping them. I'm an active sleeper and these stay in all night without issue. The sound app is soothing and has numerous ambient sound options. Battery life has been better than expected (so far). Be forewarned, these work exactly as advertised, meaning they mask nearly all other sounds. Make sure your alarm is set to max volume or set to vibrate and placed on your mattress.

I debated purchasing these because of others reviews. I am glad that I went ahead with the purchase. The do exactly what I want. The fit in my ear and I don't feel them. There is a good selection of sounds and the volume is good. I also like the option to have an alarm. Previously I was using my in ear beats which already hurt, and sleeping was very uncomfortable. I recommend these if you like listening to relaxing sounds when going to sleep or have trouble sleeping due to ringing in you ears.
