I love the charging case! It's sturdy, sleek and functional. I particularly like how the earbuds magnetically attach to there designated slots in the charging case so there's no fear of dropping them. I'm an active sleeper and these stay in all night without issue. The sound app is soothing and has numerous ambient sound options. Battery life has been better than expected (so far). Be forewarned, these work exactly as advertised, meaning they mask nearly all other sounds. Make sure your alarm is set to max volume or set to vibrate and placed on your mattress.

In all honesty. I recommend these 10/10. Sure they're not perfect, BUT they are the only headphones that are comfortable to sleep in. I am a side sleeper and was hesitant because others said that they hurt when sleeping on their sides. I had a little discomfort the first 2 nights then never again. I enjoy their Naturescapes to listen too (Rainforest being my favorite) Just know Bose Sleep has their own app. Only the sounds on the app are playable. Yet I found a few tracks that I like to listen too. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because I want some more naturescapes with animals.

I've always been a light sleeper and could never sleep with talking or TV on in the background. I've worn earplugs every night since college and I've tried countless brands. Over the years I've sleeptrained myself to need silence or a static noise to be able to fall asleep. I never found a pair of earplugs that could completely block out snoring, but we discovered the original sleepbuds. Those ultimately were returned because one of the buds had a sort of intermittent feedback sound that didn't allow me to fall asleep, which is the reason I waited so long to try these. I'd gotten to the point where just the sound of breathing would keep me awake and I would often leave to go sleep on the couch when earplugs couldn't help, so I figured this would be worth another shot. Now don't get me wrong, these are very expensive for what they are and I really feel they could be cheaper considering what they are, but man do they work well. These are not earbuds that will play any sound you want, but rather exclusively play sounds you download from the app. There are several to choose from and you can set them to either a timer or play all night. You can adjust the volume, but they work really well in masking sound. They are NOT noise canceling, but the masking works great, I can finally sleep through the night again! The best addition to the app is an alarm so you don't risk sleeping through any alarms. They'll play right in the buds and the phone will be silent. I really love the quality of these, and the charge lasts all night. Now moving to the bad things about it. To put it short, the app is very unintuitive. You cannot set alarms or anything without having the buds connected, which involves taking them out of the case. Anything you really want to change has to have them connected. The app sometimes has unrecoverable notifications that will say place the buds back in the case when they are already in there. Even stopping the app won't always clear these. Other times the earbud won't connect and you have to restart the app or place the buds back in the case a few times to get them to connect. Occasionally the sound will stop and you have to open the app again to hit play. My second complaint is about the comfort. Having worn earplugs daily for the last 6 years, I've known brands be so uncomfortable that they wake me up with stabbing pain in the middle of the night. These are not nearly as bad as some of the worse earplugs I've had, but they aren't the comfiest thing to wear. I don't wake up from pain, but I will wake up with sore ears every now and then. I would give them a few nights before you decide if the comfort is something you can deal with. All in all, I think these are great, they help me get to sleep without disturbance and mask most of the issues I have with sleeping. I don't wake up from snoring anymore and I can easily fall asleep with the sound level.

Having been an owner of the first generation and also experiencing the problems many of us encountered I was skeptical they had finally resolved the issue. Thankfully after 2 weeks I haven't had a single problem with this generation. It was clear they learned from the first gen and have added in the needed fixes both from a comfort standpoint and connectivity and battery issues previously encountered. If you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep due to noises, noisy partners, or can't stand the normal noise makers which often have a clear stop start pattern loop that you can't get out of your head, this is the sleeping aid you have been waiting for. The noises offered are absolutely perfect loops with seamless transition. The level of detail they put into these loops/sounds is obvious which adds to the price no doubt. R&D that went into the sleepbuds II speak for themselves. Sure they are not cheap but if sleep is valuable to you then $250 is nothing to be able to wake up feeling great again. Get some.

I had just moved into a new apartment and was surrounded by neighbors who worked third shift and were loud when they got home, and another neighbor who had giant wind chimes hanging just outside of my bedroom window. I saw that these were available and bought them immediately. I have not had interrupted sleep even once since these arrived!!! I sleep straight through the night and when I wake up I can tell that I had incredible, solid sleep. They are expensive but they are so absolutely worth it! They also come in handy on days when I want to curl up and read but surrounding distractions get in the way!

I wasn't sure these would work for me from a comfort standpoint however will happily report I've never slept better. I've always slept with a fan or sound machine and no longer need to. I don't have an issue with them falling out or staying charged. I have small ears and it comes with three different sizes which is great. As a frequent traveler, these will be accompanying me on every future trip.

These really do block noise and offer great sleep sounds, but I can't make it through the whole night without my ears being sore. Also, one of the silicone tips tore the first time I tried to put it on and the standard tips for all Bose earbuds do NOT fit these, and the ones that do are on backorder for more than a month :( I find little benefit to the little wedge that I guess is supposed to hold it in your ear better? (the small ones are too small but they stay in my ear the same as the medium/torn ones) It's a pricey accessory - really pricey for what it does, but it helps me block out ridiculously loud snoring beside me (mostly) and allows me to get a little sleep.

A bit of context: my wife and I are resident directors in a girls dormitory (yes, we are open during COVID). There are a LOT of noises that occur throughout the night: stomping feed, sliding furniture, laughing, and other noises. It’s been bad this year, so when Bose releases these new Sleepbuds, I had to give them a shot. They fit perfectly in my ears, and do not jostle around, even when sleeping on my side. The buds are noise maskers, not noise cancelling, so some loud sounds will get through. However, you can turn up the volume on the “noise” to mask out all sounds. It’s important to note these don’t play music. There is an app you download which allows you to select different “noises” to load on the buds to play during the night. You can set them on a timer to turn off, or have them play all night. For me, warm static is a life saver. I have slept well this past week, and I HIGHLY recommend these for those who need to mask out the noises that keep you awake at night!

These are the best thing I have ever had! You have to make sure they are seated correctly to charge, but other than that, I have had zero problems, and I use them almost every night. I saw some reviews of charging issues, but following the instructions from Bose works fairly well. I had no issues whatsoever. They are comfortable, definitely work all night long, and exhibit typical Bose quality and comfort.

As this is the 2nd version of the Sleepbuds product, I would have hoped that the majority of the kinks had been ironed out, especially considering that Bose are usually sticklers for quality. The Sleepbuds II themselves work quite well and there's no doubt that I sleep better when I use them. They're comfortable, they're easy to pair with an iPhone, and the case and buds themselves certainly feel high quality. The problems I've had (and we bought two sets in my household, both have these issues) are almost brain-dead obvious though: 1. The charge connectors on the buds themselves are extremely finicky. It's not uncommon to put them in the case to charge, only to open it 16 hours later and find that they were shifted just a nanometer off and didn't charge as a result. This is extremely frustrating because they don't use a typical 'fast charge' battery configuration, instead relying on some new technology that Bose developed to keep size down. What this means is that you're NOT going to get to use them until another full day of charge. 2. The charge time is absolutely insanely long. It takes about 8-10 hours for them to fully charge, even for their first use. While this doesn't sound like a big deal, it is if they don't charge. Additionally, the case itself doesn't seem to have a very substantial battery so you can forget traveling with them unless you pack the cord along. If that doesn't sound like a big deal, well, let's put it this way. You aren't going camping with them. Period. 3. They're expensive. Yes, you know that going in, sure, but you're thinking "it's a Bose product, of course it is!" Well, if these were your typical Bose product that'd be one thing, but I would have waited until Sleepbuds III had I known better. As it stands now, we live with the various issues and hope for the best. I'm getting 5 nights of great sleep each week instead of 7 because someone in the Bose design department didn't get the memo from Quality Control that something was amiss. Bottom line: I'm not entirely disappointed if this is a $99 product but I'm VERY disappointed in them as a $249 product. Your mileage may vary.

Love them. I probably have 4 different pairs of ear buds but these are the best for sleeping, and only sleeping. You can only listen to the Bose sound app which is the only downfall because I'd like to listen to sounds from other apps which may be better with more options, but it works. They aren't noise cancelling but they do a good job of masking just enough noise to let you sleep, while letting you hear something in the back ground that would be loud enough to wake you (Fire Alarm, Carbon Monoxide Alarm, tornado siren, etc) They are the smallest (best sounding) ear buds I've found that I can leave in my ears while sleeping. I'm a side sleeper so they are the best option for that. If I were to suggest anything to Bose it would be that I think as technology increases you could maybe make them just a bit smaller, as my left ear can sometimes feel the bud while on my side. But I can't feel them in my right side, weird. I'd also recommend that maybe you be able to integrate them with a couple of popular apps like "Calm" which I listen to daily for meditation and they have some really great noise masking sounds. Better than Bose actually in quality. That being said, these were designed for sleep / napping, and really nothing else. I'm happy to pay the premium for the improvement that make in my quality of sleep. Thanks Bose!

I have never recommended a single product to so many people. Since I can remember, I’ve always had an issue with falling/staying asleep when there’s neighbor noise, which had made apartment living and hotel stays extremely difficult at times. Ear plugs end up hurting my ears after a while and don’t block out deep bass noises/door slamming, and sound machines can only do so much. These sleep buds have honestly been a miracle. I’m finally sleeping through the night consistently and can fall asleep anywhere. I love that they’re designed for anyone — even side sleepers — and you can customize the sound and adjust the volume super easily. The ONLY issue I’ve had with these is that after about 2 weeks of consistent use (i.e. every night) I start to get small sores from the plastic rubbing up against the inside of my ear. I just cover that spot with a bandaid or even a piece of tape for a couple of nights to stop the friction and let it heal, then it’s fine for a while. For me, its 100% worth it and is something I’m willing to deal with forever for a peaceful night’s sleep. Bottom line, 100% recommend these if you have loud neighbors or are a light sleeper. Sleep is too important to compromise on.

Overall, these are great. They do the job as advertised, the case is nicely designed, they're comfortable given the fact that they're really just specialized ear buds, the noises included with the app are pretty good although I hope they add more to the library in the future. The only cons I have are that they could be slightly more comfortable, and the case sliding mechanism is a little loose/sloppy feeling given the quality of the case materials.

I have suffered from insomnia for decades, to the point that I have tried pretty much every over-the-counter sleep and as well as several prescription medications. Like many with insomnia, my brain won’t shut off and the longer I fight to get to sleep, the more every little sound becomes magnified and, in turn, especially my husband’s snoring. I'm currently taking Ambien every night, and would love to be able to stop taking it. I purchased these sleep buds with low expectations, however, have been pleasantly surprised! The sleep buds fit nicely in my ears and I am able to sleep in several positions without issues. I have slept soundly every night and have not been able to hear any snoring at all. I am confident that I will be able to stop taking the Ambien and sleep successfully without any sleep aids other than these sleep pods. Well worth the money for a good night’s sleep!

I have tried many ways to help me sleep without medication. Yes, diphenhydramine works but leaves you drowsy in the morning. This obviously doesn’t do that. You have to understand that for people who have issues falling and staying asleep, this is a product that only does this and that’s all. If you looking for regular ear buds this is not it. Designed specifically for sleep and staying asleep. Masking sounds is it’s primary function and setting your mind to a white noise environment. I have a small amount of tendonitis and this does a good job of masking those issues. There are over 50 sounds and more are coming, to choose from. The white noise section is excellent. You can still hear alarms and some sounds if you don’t turn it up loud. It truly does last all night and after a few nights you don’t even feel them in your ears. Extremely light and soft. I’ve never had one fall out while sleeping and I toss and turn all night. Excellent build quality and set up is easy. Just make sure you use a full 2.0a USB-C charger with a standard usb-a and the included cable to USB-C as the 1.0a cheap standard USB chargers don’t work. I thought mine was broke at first until I used a 2.0a charger. Otherwise a good investment for the ones who need it.

I bought these to generate whitenoise during the day to mask tinitus. Although these are marketed for sleeping I found that it was not comfortable for me since I sleep on my sides. But I expected that. I have a bedside whitenoise machine for overnight. I wear them during the day to generate whitenoise and it works beautifully. You have to use a phone app to set it up. If, like me, you plan to keep the same sound and volume then you can set the buds to be "phone-free", which is what I did. When they're pulled out of the base charging station they immediately start generating the sound. They come with three different size buds which was good. The default middle size worked for one ear and I switched the other ear to use the larger bud. I couldn't be happier with these. They do the job I wanted them to do, which is to generate a quiet sound to drown out the tinitus. They're comfortable (I often wear them for hours). The manual suggests the charge should be good for at least 8 hours and that is what I found, so I charge them every day. That's easy to do just be positioning them back into the charging station.

I have used earplugs for years with a noisy dog walking around at night & being I’m easy to awaken. When I use earplugs, my ears are so itchy & they hurt my ear canals. So my wife purchased these for me & the first night was difficult. Difficult because though small, they bothered me as I'm a side sleeper & I felt them in my ear against the pillow, but the sound dampening & sounds of rain lightly in my ear was great. So, I tried night 2, difficult again, but a night of better sleep. Night 3 was a lot better, but by night 4, I didn't even know I was wearing them & I slept like a log. I use a Fitbit, so I can quantify my sleep & even my difficult night one sleep score went up, but now it's way up. So, yes, these sleepbuds are great & I can actually quantify it with a better sleep score & my deep sleep time has substantially increased. I highly recommend & definitely suggest you stick with it for a week to get used to them being in your ear. If you're a Fitbit user, I bet you'll see your sleep score increase also.
