Great sound bar, it’s loud and clear. I suggest adding the subwoofer for the full experience

Great sound clarity, but that's it, and is the only reason it gets 2 stars. Very little bass, you definitely want to purchase the bass module if you MUST have this Bose sound bar. But that's way to expensive for me. I also hate that I had to download the Bose music app and create an account to adjust the bass level, treble and the center channel speaker volume. No reason to spend $450 on the sound bar ONLY, when if you ever so slightly sacrifice sound clarity you can get something cheaper that comes with a subwoofer and gives you a better overall sound experience. I ended up returning the Bose and buying the JBL Bar 5.1 sound bar with sub, Best Buy sku# 6395190. It was $200 off so priced at $400. The JBL sound bar gets louder, the virtual surround is decent, and the subwoofer is excellent. I can feel the floor vibrate and hear the pictures on the TV wall rattle. Everything about the Bose felt gimmicky, from it sounding better in store than at my house, to being forced to sign up for the Bose music app. Waste of money and time.

Great sound! My only knock is it doesn’t come with a HDMI cable which should be pretty standard in 2021 especially at this price point.

Could use some paper directions instead of just an app online. Like the speaker fine. Good sound.

Great sound, however, everytime the tv is turned off then the Bose sound bar needs to be reconnected each time, in convenient.

Great soundbar! Didn't really need A 900. You can add wireless subwoofer or surround speakers if you want to.

I remember back in the day when “soundbar” was a bad word. It was associated with a compromised sound experience that could never match a “real” sound system. Those days are long gone, and the Bose Smart Soundbar 300 shows just how far a soundbar setup can go. Not only does it produce AMAZING Bose signature sound, but it also makes full use of wi-fi, and Bluetooth connectivity along with the latest in virtual private assistant technologies from Google and Amazon. A truly excellent sound solution not only for one room, but easily expandable to your entire home. Setup is incredibly easy with the help of the Bose Music App. A big advantage of soundbars in general. You have your HDMI cable, and that’s about it. The app also guides you to setup either Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. The functionality of these virtual private assistance adds so much to the experience, and is a welcome addition. I set up the Alexa functionality, and immediately had access to my Amazon Music account (and it has never sounded better). At that point so much can be done through voice control I rarely feel the need to pick up my television remote. Amazing! Let’s get this out of the way as it is the reason many will be reading this review…THE SOUND IS AMAZING! Bose continues to amaze me. I don’t know how such great sound can come out of something this size, but that is the magic that Bose seems to deliver time after time. Movies are a completely different experience with big booming bass, games fully envelop you into their worlds, watching a football game makes me feel like I am actually there, and my music has never sounded better. Clear dialog, powerful mids, and deep bass. And if that is not enough you can add a Bose Bass Module, and surround sound speakers to complete the experience. It turns out that a soundbar really can deliver an immersive sound experience! There is so much additional functionality and versatility here. No compromise. Amazing sound. The best soundbar experience I have ever had, and one I will be enjoying for years to come. Thanks Bose!

Great sound in my living room but too expensive since I only paid $499 for my new TV. Looking for a cheaper option with same great quality.
