Sounds good but connectivity issues

Perfect for a smaller living space

It has outperformed my expectations on both counts. Not sure it would be adequate in a larger living room, but for a small den or bedroom, this unit delivers, both in terms of clear midrange and uppers, and adequate bass output

It is a pain to get setup! Finally just went with the optical connection and that worked but trying to get it to work via HDMI was a nightmare. HOWEVER!!!! The sound of this is really terrific. It makes dialog clear w/o losing much of anything else. Plenty of sound shaping options but you have to do it through the App. All in all very pleased.

Does not work well w/ Apple TV

Very annoyed though with the interface and how when i turn on or off my apple tv which normally turns on and off my tv the sounbar hinders that process. So if i hit power on the apple tv now it turns on my soundbar and tv but then the sound bar will turn off my tv after the soundbar kicks on.

Glad to hear that you're enjoying the sound quality and Dolby Atmos.
It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the power sync or CEC issues. Within the Bose Music app, under your product settings, you'll find a Power section. Check that you have the sources that you require selected under the Power Sync. If the issue remains, please test the different CEC settings under Advanced CEC. There are 8 different options including Default and Off. Here's some more information on this - https://bose.life/3F9D501.

I’ve waited many years to get a sound bar by bose. they are the best sounds of any other products. The service was great. The agent was very efficient …overall it was a great experience. Once I brought it home I was able to set it up and have it operating within 30 minutes. The directions are simple and easy and very understandable.

Samsung TV. It can also play music from Spotify. Just download the Spotify app. That music sounds better than from the tv. Also, the Bose customer device is amazing. They will help with any questions including setup. I must admit that $400 ain’t cheap.
