Bose - Smart Soundbar 600

Unsure if due to the Samsung tv partly, but is difficult using the Bose APP, for me at least.. With original set up, all went fairly good and both Soundbar and Woofer connected and functioned mostly normal.. But after 3 or 4 days, the Soundbar didn't have sound.. Connection is with an HDMI cable to the e-Arc plug in.. All the Bose APP preferences won't function, but after fooling and fooling around constantly, got both of Soundbar and Woofer to play sound together.. So now when I will try and use it all again later today, at this point am wondering if it will power up properly and be working or have to battle frustration again.. Granted some of the fault could be mine, but I hate being forced into Apps for tech stuff...

Disappointed with disconnection issues!!!!!!

I've tried everything to keep it from disconnecting to no avail. had a cheaper samsung soundbar before this and wish i would have kept it. Stay away from this soundbar too expensive for the problems it has.

Wont pair with tv/cable remote to control sound though. on line customer support not helpful. No real person to talk to. Very inconvenient to have to find phone or Bose remote every time to adjust volume.

Boss sound bar

The smart feature enhancements were not that very good, no screen on the sound bar where i could navigate different sounds like other much cheapers sound bars do.

The only problems I have with it are that it turns off if I have a show paused for too long and I have to turn my tv all the way off and back on to get the soundbar to work again.

First, i feel like it doesnt have that good Bose sound, i was just going to get the soundbar but i ended up spending more then i planned so i bought the Bose 500 bass whoofer, That made a huge difference and i was glad i did buy it. Second. My old Bose sound bar , when it was on, there was a small green light knowing it was on. This soundbar dorsnt have any light, we have the tv remote paired with the soundbar and sometimes with tje old one, the tv woild turn off and not the sound bar, and that light helped knowing if it was off for sure. Other then that, it was easy to hook up, had some issues with pairing the sub whoofer but got it done.

Thanks for leaving your thoughts on the Soundbar 600. The Bass Module 500 certainly adds an additional layer of sound enhancement to the lower frequencies of the system. We're glad to hear you were happy with your purchase.
With regard to the light, we use a light bar that provides different information. Having it on permanently could be seen to be distracting as it is larger, so it remains off until it is actively being interacted with. I will be sure to feedback your desires to have an option to keep it on.

The amount of speakers inside the unit adds to the positive experience you will have.

I am impressed with Bose they have come along ways… Sonos was my preference because I am an old Dutch punk This 600 is well worth the money believe me pay the extra 60.00 over the 300 you will not regret it keep smiling and keep it simple you rock

My one critique is that the remote connects to the tv so it will turn on and off the tv when I am just trying to make sure the soundbar is on because there is no indicator light for whether it is on or not.

It’s a open box purchase from the best buy was a excellent decisio, as it arrived in impeccable condition and performs flawlessly. My dad couldn’t be happier with his new soundba, and it has transformed our movie nights. Highly recommended

I can't even do anything in the app?). There's no power button on the sound bar itself (if the circle is supposed to be a power button, it still doesn't actually connect to anything, so I can hit the button a million times and it does not connect to my TV until I use the actual remote) so if the remote disappears I guess the sound bar is useless?? Can't switch between the TV and Bluetooth without the remote. An actual user manual would be nice, not just a quick start guide with zero info that tells me to download an app with zero info.

It's great to hear you were impressed by the sound quality of the Soundbar 600 but I'm sorry you've not found the product to be user friendly. Bose stopped issuing user manuals a few years back to be kinder to the environment but also because internet-based product often receive updates that can bring new features, which make user manuals redundant as they cannot be updated.
We now offer a product support page on our website with useful videos and text articles so you can learn how to use the product or troubleshoot it when something goes wrong. For those who prefer user manuals, digital PDFs can be found on the page, also.
The circle button on the top of the bar is an action button for the smart assistant, it is not a power button. The bar can be controlled via the remote or via the Bose Music app. We recommend the remote for most general functions.
