I thought being Bose it will be a awesome pick, but was really disappointed as it always fails to connect with the bose sound app. That is the only way to configure and control the soundbar. I have raised a query as well with the Bose folks but of no use. I got really worried and had to return it with in the allowed time to ensure i do not feel bad about my purchase later

Thank you for your review of our Soundbar 700, I'm sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing when using it with the application. I would recommend making sure you have your source device connected to the same network you have added the soundbar to as this may be why you can't see it in the app. If you are still encountering some issues, please reset your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in.

Still waiting for that experience. I'm not sure the subwoofer does anything at all! The fit and finish are quality, but at this price the sound leaves much to be desired. The device is finicky with wireless internet connection, even when near my home router and even when nearby and further away devices have strong signals, the soundbar struggles. Volume fluctuates between loud/quiet between programs, intro songs, and commercials and I am constantly changing the volume. And the remote is useless, and I mean utterly useless. It times out after 3 seconds, not long enough to use it for anything. Too bad too, because the remote is sleek and works with all my devices if I am super speedy at finding the right button to push, which is almost never. Setup was more complicated than it should be, I don't understand why I need an app on my phone, I really despise having to have an app for everything from my doorbell to my speakers. I am past the return period, so I will tolerate this for a few years but at this price, I should have spent a few more pennies and got a B&O.

Posted .Hello! I am sorry that you have yet to experience the world of sound this system has to offer. I am sure once you do, it will blow your mind away. I would suggest rerunning ADAPTiQ as you have added the bass module the room will need re-calibrating. Also, the steps on this page here https://bose.life/2B1ANSt will be a great help to get the most from your system.

So I am hoping that once I purchase that, I will hear and feel that "boom" in the bass that I was looking for. I like Bose because of their sound quality. This sound bar has that. It is just that I was looking for more "boom" for movie watching, etc. As I mentioned, I am hoping with the subwoofer, that will be realized
