This sound bar does not get a excellent rating because of the price Bose has a very good sound stage and delivers very good sound bars I recommend that you might want to look somewhere else at less you have other bose products but the sound bar is very good and gets very loud and delivers a very wide sound stage but I would recommend looking at Sonos if you want to spend this kind of money and also if you want to save a lot of money Sony Vizio and TCL the name of you deliver very good sound bars The TCL soundbar with the Atmos setup is definitely able to be compared to the bow 700 soundbar with the white soundstage but the TCL is missing a assistant such as Amazon Alexa or a Google Assistant but to say this if the TCL had this I would definitely recommend it over any of the other sound bars such as Sonos Samsung Sony and Vizio but if you're looking for a Bose product the both 700 soundbar definitely delivers and won't disappoint but it is a hefty price most people say you pay for what you get but really with the sound bars that have mentioned that's not really the case they're all pretty equal nowadays unless you're buying something super cheap and not very well known

While at the premium end of the soundbar market, the old adage holds that "you get what you pay for". We have a large TV mounted above a fireplace in a large greatroom with 20+ foot ceilings...tried several soundbar/subwoofer combinations and due to the size and acoustics of the room could never either the volume or the quality of sound that would make the TV usable for gatherings like sporting events or others where there was any significant ambient noise competing with the TV. After installing and going through guided setup with the Bose 700 (which has you place a tethered microphone in the various places that you typically watch the TV from) I was blown away by the clarity, volume and richness of the sound. Great integration with online/streaming music services and other external features as well. 2x the cost of the next most expensive one we tried...but outperforms all of them by at least that factor. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Pros : 1) The soundbar generates original sound quality. clean and good. 2) setup is easy 3) build quality is good Cons: ******** 1) when we turnOn the soundbar, it is turning on the TV as well. this should be corrected. 2) The price should still be reduced by $150. 3) The Music app is not user-friendly. 4) little bit BASS sound should be improvized.

This is my first time buying a Bose and I'm truly impressed. Great sound, ease of setup and integrating Alexa was simple and easy. The sound is rich, but ultimately bought the corresponding sub. I'd definitely recommend both together. For our spot, we didn't need the other speakers.

Best soundbar , expensive, but worth the investment. Add the bass module and it's like your in a movie theater. I will be adding the rear speakers to complete the system. Setup is easy, just install the app on Google play or Apple store and follow the directions. You will need a good wifi for better results. Bose sound is unique from other soundbars.

I upgraded from the Cinemate 120, which was a fantastic system. The Soundbar 700 is exactly that, an upgrade. I’m perplexed at some of the reviews I read. This was under 30 minute setup out of the box, updating software and getting it all set up. The sound is rich and crisp with clear tones and room filling sound. For me, the sound only got better by mounting the bar under the TV. I highly recommend adding the bass module. The UI of the all could use a makeover. My only complaint is that the remote works via IR with line of sight but not through the HDMI-ARC for my other connected components.

Easy setup, the expected exceptional sound quality from Bose. Minimalist aesthetic, sleek glass top. The bose 700 base module brings this system home. You can feel the bass in your chest. I would advise getting the Bose 700 satellite speakers to get that true movie theater “sweeping” surround sound.

This Bose sound bar was very easy to set up and I like that you can calibrate the sound anytime. The sound quality is excellent! I did purchase the subwoofer as well and this added a richness to the sound, however it does produce great sound on its own.

we have been happy with our Bose speakers. this is our 2nd 700 soundbar. i will say... the 300 they have is just as nice with the sound however, the app sucks for the 300 and they do not provide any customization for the sound... like how much base and treble etc... if that does not bother you then the 300 is nice... we have 2 and both sound good. the 700's app does allow this extra stuff and is much more user friendly. setting it up on wifi is alot easier as well. the 300's are awful to get to find wifi.. at least in our experience. it will say.. can't find wifi but it literally is sitting next to the router. we have continued to buy the 700 just because of the ease of the app and setting it up and the customization. probably silly and that's probably what Bose wants. overall, we have been happy with the 700 soundbar. good strong sound for us.

I really wanted to love this unit. Build quality is great. Setup was easy once i realized its through the bose music app and not the bose app. Sound is really good but not convinced its good enough to justify the cost. Unless you are a die hard bose fan i would look at the samsung Q70R or similar before buying.

I got this sound bar because of the Alexa. I primarily stream my music. We have a large common space. And it sounds great. I bought it with the sub woofer. I had it for a day before I picked up my subwoofer. And it sounded good. I’m not sure it was worth the price for the sound bar alone. But with the subwoofer. It’s amazing. It’s deep and rich. And it’s just amazing. So for a speak system to do the Alexa stuff like play my play list and play the news and tell jokes, in addition to a great soundbar for tv, It’s wonderful. It comes with a universal remote for the tv, blue ray player, appletv and sound bar. It’s my first universal tv. So I like it. But I think the Logitechs obviously do more. I was thinking of the Sonos. But after demoing this at Bestbuy, I knew I would have buyer’s remorse if I went with the Sonos.

After reviewing nearly every soundbar option available at every level of performance and price, I finally settled on the Bose 700 Soundbar and Sub. The performance easily matches or rivals more expensive options and setup and use were extremely easy. I'm personally not into Alexa or any other voice control product features (I know everything seems to be listening anyway), so I haven't activated the feature. The sound from this product is amazing at all levels of listening. I recommend choosing the 700 over the 500 series as the Bass unit will provide much more impact in larger listening areas (You can change the room size but you can't change the bass size easily after purchase). In this case bigger is better! I will be adding the matching rear speakers for a true 5.1 sound experience. Can hardly wait! Favorite things to hear so far... BBC Blue Planet 2 NBC Once Upon a Time Fav's on iHeartRadio Will be revisiting Top Gun when Surround speakers arrive!

After reading a few of the 1 star reviews, I worried about the difficulty of the set-up to all my devices, but the set-up couldn’t have been easier. The paper instruction booklet included basically directs you to the Bose Music app, and that’s because the app quickly and clearly walks you through the entire set-up process. If you don’t skip any steps, then you shouldn’t have any problems. In fact, there weren’t even many steps in the entire process. I’m not the most tech-savvy person, but I’m also not an idiot… so if you can follow simple directions in each of the app’s prompts, you will definitely be okay. The sound from the Soundbar alone is amazing, and paired with the Bose Bass Module 700, it’s even better. I don’t regret investing in this sound system.

Here we go: I've had the Bose Soundbar 700 with the Base module 700 for about a week now. I wanted to wait to give a fair review. I've never had a soundbar before, but had my tv hooked up to a Bose wave radio. It sounded great, but the radio started to act weird, so I did several weeks of research on sounbars and opted for this one. I was going to get the 300, but waited to get the 700 with Alexa! I love Alexa! I've forked $1498 for a soundbar! That's a LOT of money for me, but I like to get quality. The 700 does not have Dolby Atmos... Do we need it? I didn't. I just want something to sound great. Well... This sounds FANTASTIC!

Sound quality is amazing! Never used to listen to music through a sound bar, always through headphones. Once I had this set up, I've now started enjoying listening to music and VERY LOUD might I add. Yes, the set up process was a little difficult but with Google-nostics at my fingertips I was able to figure it out. The remote didn't pair well with my Sony Bravia TV but whatever...the soundbar turns on automatically when I turn on the TV and if I need to adjust the volume I can do that directly through the Bose app. All other reviewers that complain about the set up just didn't take the time to figure it out. It only took me 15 minutes and I bought my soundbar as an open box buy so I had to remove the previous owners set up. Still, I very much enjoy it! I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I see tons and tons of negative reviews about this product and I was skeptical about it. People have problems setting this up due to the updates and what not. That it either doesn’t work or messes up the sound bar. Here’s my review. I ONLY got this for my movies! I got this to enjoy great cinema! I didn’t get this for music or other apps like Spotify. I just plugged in and boom! Sound right off the bat! I don’t care about music coming out of this just sound from my movies. That’s what I give this a 10/10!!!!!! Yeah the price is ludacris! But man oh man does the sound reflect on that price. It’s clear, it’s crisp it’s fantastic! Definitely recommend if you have money to burn

Soundbar sounds great! Must get the subwoofer to go with it and sound fills up your living room. Bass makes your clothes vibrate. I'm very tech savvy but the bose app is hit or miss. It works sometimes. It doesn't at other times.

Love this soundbar. It was super easy to set up and works well! Right now, I use a firestick and firestick does not coordinate with bose to be able to use the bose remote to operate the fitestick. So I still have to use 2 remotes but that’s ok. Once I get the volume set I really never need to adjust the volume anyway. So just one click to turn on the soundbar and I’m set for the evening. It sounds great but to add even better sound, you should get the subwolfer. I may add that later or maybe not! To be honest I’m fine with the sound the way it is but some people would probably want the subwolfer too.

I have white furniture and this was the only white sound bar of a great quality that I could find at this price range. I had my Lifestyle system setup in the home theater room, so I needed something smaller for the den. This was a perfect solution for me. Great sound, sleek design that matches my furniture, and Bose quality. Magnolia advisors tried to talk me out of buying Bose sound bar as apparently there are better sound bars available at this price range, but none of them fitted so well with my den design. I’m glad that I didn’t listen and went with my gut. By the way, sometimes it feels that the sound comes out of the corners of the room, not from under the TV. So the advertising is true.
