I bought this sound bar along with the Base 700 module to get my gaming and movie watching to the next level. This sound bar without the additional surround sound speakers can make you feel like you have a surround sound system. I can only imagine what the speakers would add to the feeling. I was impressed by the immersive feeling it provides while playing a game called Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, a game where the main character is a schizophrenic and hears voices. The voices appeared to be coming from all directions in front of me, echoing off the walls in a way that made it feel like the walls were speaking to me. It was a great experience. The audio quality was also pretty good with good highs, mids, and lows that made music enjoyable to listen too. The music aspect was a nice addition. As for integration I like that the remote control it came with allowed me to seamlessly switch from Bluetooth control, to app control, to the TV input control for the different desired uses. I did accidentally drop the remote and it seemed to perform a self diagnostic immediately before yielding control again, so that was a cool feature. I would definitely buy Bose again.

I had an issue with the initial install because you need an ARC HDMI port for this soundbar to work properly. if not, like my TV I had to use the optical cable. The people with the optical cable is that it does show all the features as the HDMI like the volume up and down numbers on screen plus other things. This unit sounds really good and conectsbto the wifi farely well but, for the 800 dollar price tag I do not feel this is worth it. There are so many other less expensive soundbars out there that can do almost the same and if not better thing than the BOSE. I love all BOSE product's and have many others like 3 headphones, one ear buds and an old surround system. This soundbar is really good overall but a little to expensive for what you get.

I finally decided to get rid of the $100 soundbar I've had and invest in something better. I was blown away when I realized what Ive been missing. Incredible sound and voices are clear even when a lot is going on. I loved how easy it was to set up using the app. Once I paired to my phone I could steam my Apple Music with one touch of a button. The universal remote it comes with is really cool looking but I am still trying to get used to it. So far I love everything about it. Its pretty pricey compared to some but you really get what you pay for when it comes to soundbars and this one was worth every cent. Especially if you have a larger room like I do.

I've been looking for a good sound bar and I've owned several from Bose. The reason I've chosen the Bose 700 sound bar is the sound quality. Comparing to other, the Bose 700 is rather pricey but if I am going to own one, I'd rather pay for something that I won't have buyer's remorse. The Good: 1) Very good and realistic sound. The thing I've enjoyed the most is the dialog and I couldn't find a better sound bar. As for music, it is not bad but no comparison to full size hi-fi speakers but I don't use it for music just TV. As for special effect sound, you will need to own the accompany base unit 2) Beautifully designed product 3) Multiple input (i.e. HDMI and Optical) The Bad: Pricey

So after a couple of months of ownership I can say the sound is absolutely great! As far as set up and control of the the sound bar goes, the fact that you have to use an App on your phone is less than desirable, the fact that the App (imho) is crap makes it worse. The bar frequently looses internet connection, for which said App is useless, setting up the sound bar and sub through the App is an annoyance to say the least. As far as the remote goes....it's the nicest peace of crap I have ever seen, it could be great but Bose seems content to leave it like it is. So long story long, the sound is phenomenal, the rest is subpar.

Just wow. I added the surround speakers and that was the icing on the cake. Excellent sounding speakers great rumbling bass

I received a discount offer from Best Buy and took advantage to get the Bose sounds 700 speaker and could not be more please with it. The soundbar is great, sounds excellent, I will probably add a couple of the satellite speaker to go in the back of the room later hopefully they will be on sale as Bose is rather expensive, that is the only drawback I have with it. With the Best Buy discount offer I received and Best Buy rewards and gift cards I had, it made this purchase a very nice deal. I would highly recommend the 700 soundbar if you were thinking of buying.

This is my second Bose Soundbar 700 (sold the other one), the sound quality is amazing, but I have the Subwoofer 700 - which makes a major difference. I think is a little pricy but Bose sound quality is great. The Alexa app is super cool, a light start blinking and you can ask for your messages like amazon deliveries, etc... I need to learn how to use this more. I do not know why they do not maximize the use of the new HDMI to use the bar with an app on the TV (Sony, Sonos has this already)....

I love the way the soundbar looks. It was a simple setup as you download the App as per the instructions. Once you download the app installation is seamless and takes about 10 minutes. Bose customer service was outstanding. I did call them to verify a procedure and I would rate the service at 5 stars. Again, a very seamless process and straightforward. I had never used Alexa before but I find myself using Alexa for a wide variety of things. What a great tool! It's not cheap by any means but I am glad that I waited to purchase this soundbar. I am thoroughly pleased with this purchase and I think you will be also.

The sound is exceptional. True tenors and very good base. Very easy to pair with TV. You have to download the app. from the play store to get the remote to work. Had trouble downloading the app from Google Play. Once I got app downloaded the setup was easy. Best universal remote I ever use. I can control all my devices from the app (TV, DVR, Cable, Game console). Sound quality is exceptional. Have bought Bose past 20 years. This one will not disappoint. Excellent for bedroom, small areas w/o needing to have surround sound. Highly recommend.

The speaker blew me away in the store and completely amazed me at home too. I like the fact that you are able to direct the surround sound to 5 places where you have your seating in your home that really was nice because it was a huge difference. The soundbar alone delivers a pretty good surround sound experience, But after I added the Subwoofer it was even better. I am looking forward to getting the surround rear speakers soon this is well worth the money, just make sure you get the protection plan....

This bar provides exceptional sound for music and movies. It sounds good by itself but even better with the base module (subwoofer). The downside of this bar is the connection between it and my new Samsung TV. It is connected with the hdmi arc and sometimes the tv does not play through the bar. Typically powering both of them off and back on solves this but I have had to disconnect the hdmi for the tv to recognize the bar again.

Excellent sound bar looks beautiful and sounds even better. Add the sub and enjoy your tv like it was meant to be. Great for just listening to music also.

We walked around Best Buy and listens to multiple speaker setups. The Sonos was a close second, but I didn’t care for the sound without the sub. We were only going to buy the soundbar to start, and later add the sub. The other setups from Sony were close, but just didn’t have the same sound quality. The Bose was more expensive than the other options, but the sound quality won us over. Setting the soundbar up with the app takes a bit of time, but it’s worth it. The sound quality and clarity of voices is excellent. We would recommend this Bose

Best Buy carries an awesome selection of audio products from BOSE and other manufacturers. I planned on buying this BOSE Soundbar for a while but put it off for sometime due to cost. I was impressed by the BOSE demo products Best Buy had in the store and finally purchased it! Easy setup and wow the sound is unbelievable in my home theater room! Extremely happy with this purchase and thanks to Best Buy for continuing to tempt me by having this displayed for me every time I went to their store near me. Well worth the money.

I think the price on this particular Bose sound bar should not be as high and i don;t like that you cannot match price, as the Best buy associate told me Bose does not do that. That's not right! I'm not to fond of the remote and the setup of this Bose soundbar, there is an app, while it's easy to setup with the app, I don't like the fact that it does not tell you how you can position your sub woofer. The instructions tell you do go through the app.

Absolutely love the bose 700 sound-bar with Alexa. Alexa works better than on a regular echo and the bose speaker works great as a booster to the TV. Be sure your TV has an ARC HDMI port before buying tho as the speaker will require this for maximum performance. You will need to also go into tv setting and turn on the CEC feature of your TV (didn’t realize this and took me a while to setup b/c). Bose speaker will measure the size and shape of your room in a ~5 min setup and then you’re good to go! She’s all setup now and works great, sound is second none.

This sound bar is one if not the best out there, you can add a subwoofer for a couple of hundred dollars and you feel like you were in the theater. One thing is annoying and that is the remote control, don’t get me wrong it’s a great remote but the key light doesn’t give you enough time to see what you want to press and Bose has been saying for the past 3 years that they are working on that known issue. Me opinions, I don’t think they really care and they will never fix it. Buy it you won’t regret it.

I am downgrading from Bowers & Wilkins floor standing speakers that I also purchased from Best Buy, but I must say, I don’t feel like I’ve lost much sound quality with this bad boy. I was planning on getting the sub at a later date, but I don’t even need it as the bass is pretty good. It does not produce the channel separation like a true two speaker setup though. That’s physics though. That’s the only thing I miss.

My husband asked for this for Christmas and he hardly ever asks for anything. Initially I was going to purchase the 300 series, but after some research and the constant smile on my husband’s face, I definitely made the right choice. The sound is so good, when my brother’s girlfriend asked him what he wanted for Christmas, he enthusiastically, without hesitation chose this product. Make sure you purchase the subwoofer and speakers. The accompaniment is out of this world.
