Our old surround system kicked the bucket so we finally stepped up to a Bose. Once we got the system all connected the sound is amazing, everything you would expect from Bose. One major problem with their product is connecting the system, we spent 46mins trying to connect the system to your phone. It was so annoying I almost returned the system, my wife had to unplug then restart it twice and she got it working. Now that its connected it great but Bose needs to spend more time with this issue, and the remote sucks.

The initial setup was fairly easy, however, we struggled for a bit because we didn't have Wi-Fi installed in our home (yet) and it is needed to complete the setup. We went back and purchased the rest of the speakers for the full effect. It's nice to be able to link up Pandora, etc. through the app. Overall, great quality sound. The bar looks slick when mounted on the wall under the TV (brackets are sold separately). Oh, and the remote is pretty neat too (it lights up when you bring it up - similar to the iPhone).

I love my Bose soundbar 700. The sound is amazing, especially when paired with the Bose subwoofer. My only complaint after having it for less than six months, is several times through out the week when I turn the tv on, the sound comes on for about 10 seconds and then completely goes away. Sometimes I can fix it by powering the tv off and back on. Most times I have to disconnect the Bose cord from my Samsung tv and then plug it back in. It’s very annoying especially for such an expensive product.

Bought this to replace the bose soundtouch 300 that stopped working (only 2 years old and out of warranty). I dont really hear a sound difference. If I had to do again I would probably look for a different eco system. This is my first Bose system and I have the Subwoofer and surround speakers and I am really not that impressed. For the money I would expect alot better sound and features...As a bose owner I feel Bose is overhyped. Its sleek and minimal but the sound is average....

I went back and forth between Bose and Sonos. Review after review, video after video. Everyone had their pros and cons, but ultimately I stopped in-store and listened to them. The bose checked more boxes for me. I needed a sound bar for a smaller space where having a big theater setup didn't make sense. I started with a budget Visio sound bar package that lasted about 3 months before frying out. I listened to this device next to the comparable Sonos, and the difference was clear to me and my 13 year old daughter. I opted not to go for the sub, and boy am I glad I didn't. The sound from this device is more than enough for a smaller space. The bar easily fills the room and provides plenty of dynamic range for anything, whether it's TV or Music. The biggest feature I wasn't expecting - the intelligent management of voice pickup for shows and movies. No longer do I have to control the volume of my shows and movies - the bar does it automatically. This is a premium price point and I do feel that it's worth it, it tunes itself to the space with a microphone that you wear, something mid-to-high end receivers do. I'm super, super impressed.

Been a fan of Bose since the 80s and recently updated my home sound system with the soundbar 700 and bass Module. The aesthetic is very nice and was actually easily setup, paired with my Sony A9G. The Bose Music app gives you the ability to stream music and adjust the treble, bass and center - this is useful to meet your listening experience. Overall I’m happy with the system, and now looking into the OmniJewel surround speakers but can’t decide if the small cube surround speakers are enough.

I just happened to be in my local Best Buy store, and someone was having a demo of the sound bar and sub. Well it blew me away, and I knew right there and then I needed an upgrade from my bose surround system, so I went back later in the day and brought the package, wireless wow!!!, The sound bar is amazing truly crisp dialogue and firing out from the left and right. If you need an upgrade this is highly recommended, so easy to set up.

This soundbar is the best! It has the perfect balance of both bass and clarity. I listen to a lot of Chillstep. Illenium, Seven Lions, and Dabin are on my playlists, often. The sales guy was awesome with showing me the different sounds of each soundbar. He told me that Bose has found the secret of balancing the two, and that they have great products. Well, after many demos, I realized that he's right. I bought this soundbar, along with the subwoofer. It has bluetooth capabilities, so I pair it with my phone, and play music, throughout the house, when I'm not using it for TV or gaming audio. You install the Bose Music App, on your phone for setup, and then, you can utilize it to adjust the treble, vocals, and bass. If you're a music lover, this is for you. I, also, play Pop & Hip Hop, every once in a while. It sounds crisp, and it's amazing. Also, shout-out to Andrew G for helping me find the perfect entertainment system. I've got the latest and greatest Sony OLED, an amazing soundbar and bass unit, and LED lights for the screen. This guy was beyond patient with me, as I listened to every speaker in the store. He gave me all of the stats, and went in-depth, when I didn't know what he was talking about. True professionalism, right there, and expert advice was given, while I was struggling to choose between units. Thank you very much! I couldn't be happier!!

We have the full system: The soundbar, the surround speakers and two bass modules. It sounds great. It is especially good for movies made with modern audio technology. The bass is beautiful through the two modules. The surround sounds amazingly good through the very small surround speakers. Best of all is that the bass modules and surround speakers are (more or less) wireless. They say wireless, but there are still wires connecting the surround speakers with what must be the transceivers. Of course, all require power wires. The setup required some thought, but day-to-day operation is seamless with the TV. It's so easy to use that even the cats are able to mute it by stepping on the top of the unit, which, by the way, can lead to some embarrassing troubleshooting. We also don't like the remote control. It's so hard to use that we made a cardboard cutout so we could find the buttons we wanted. Eventually, we stopped using it. The buttons are hard to find without the back lighting, which times out way too soon. So we have to keep shaking it to make the lights work and then have to reorient our eyes. It's too frustrating to use for us to take it out of the Drawer of Useless Remotes. The phone app is very good for setup and can also be used to play music without turning on the TV. We like that but never use it. Other music apps are better. All in all, we are very happy with this system.

Speaker sounds amazing. I returned the Sonos for the Bose due to set up issues. This speaker set up process is pretty seamless but it kept disconnecting from my network. Not sure if Bose is completely at fault because of the poor signal a strength. I did a factory reset at the advice of Bose tech support and the connection has been much more stable. Great smart assistant integration and ability to link to my Spotify account. Amazing over ARC. Subversive surround. Had to pinch myself.

I have done a lot of research didn't want any mistakes at this price. I went to Best Buy to listen to there 500 & 700 for a second time and found the 700 had good options for future and a more deep mid tones where a Bass was not needed . Wife hearing not that good ,1st time she said she really likes it !!!!!! Very happy with purchase and wife likes Alexa playing Pandora . I have owned a lot of Bose products Quality still there.

Awesome sound bar but exactly the same as the 300 model. Bose just added Alexa and changers an extra $100 on top haha. Make sure to buy the Geek Sqaud insurance though... exactly 1 day after the normal exchange policy ours started to make a “digital chirping sound” when in a menu of any device we owned. Changed the cables and sound wouldn’t go away. Geek Squad paid off since we could use that coverage and get a replacement. Otherwise it’s been a great soundbar wth amazing tones.

The sound is wonderful but at the same time it does not connect to my TV every time I turn the TV on. So I have to go into the settings in order to make sure that the output is not through the TV speakers but through the sound bar. I have a setback connected to a Samsung and also an LG, so I do not think that this is an issue with the television. Oh and I hate the remote control!!!

Sound is excellent, fills up the whole room, the addition of the base 700 was outstanding to help immerse with movies and music. The only issue I have is that although it says is compatible with Alexa, I can’t get to make them work together, each time I ask Alexa to play certain song, it says I need to download something from the app and then ask to discover, I did everything and still not working, besides that, the sound is outstanding.

Sound is really great. I also bought two base bose speakers instead of the one. When you crank it up, you won't be disappointed. Watching movies, the base really kicks in. The next to get is the two surround wireless speakers that can be added. I will get two sets and place them with this system. The clarity this system puts out really keeps the Bose name at the top.
