Very happy with sound quality, firmware updates have screwed with settings that I had to go back and fix. Bose Music App is very odd and not user friendly. Remote is strange in that you can’t see the buttons unless they are lit up, and they only light for a few seconds before they go off again. Constantly have to shake to relight. Even with the issues, I would buy this again because the sound is great.

Sounds amazing. Connectivity not so amazing. Optic connection is iffy at best. Worked fine until a power outage reset everything. Now it only works through a HDMI port. Not a huge deal for me, but it is a pain having multiple consoles and a cable box connected to the same TV. I need all the ports I can get. Other than this one minor annoyance which honestly probably won't take much to solve I'm happy with it so far.

Not cheap, but excellent sound and easy to set up. Would recommend

This is by far the best sound bar I’ve bought yet setup was fairly easy although had to unplug my Vizio tv to reset it so the WiFi would work on it after setting up sound bar apparently it did something to the TVs internet connection but was easily solved great sound nice looking and sounding love the remote truly controls all my devices first remote I’ve had that actually does a bit pricy but it is Bose

Bose has given me an unexpected sound experience which caught me by surprise, expensive yes, worth it definitely, I also like the fact that it's low enough to fit under my TV, it seems to have a phantom surround experience i was not expecting,I wonder how much better it's going to sound once I get the surround speakers, also the bass module 700 is impressive as well.

I love this soundbar, I purchased this and the rear speakers, subwoofer all at the same time. I have had them for over a year now and still have no regrets. My only complaint is that with my TV the ARC doesnt always work and I simply switched to the optical, also the app will quit recognizing the soundbar and you have to power cycle it to make it work. The adaptiq is great

Took my time to research and Listen. Gave two other manufactures a shot, and waited a while to see if other systems would come to play. The Name (BOSE) says it all. I've had different Bose systems in my Home, from my night stand to the family room, but this system with my sub woofer, and the rear 700 speakers is over the top from dialogue to music, and movies. Thank you Bose for a great product.

Of course the sound quality is there. However, I am not a rookie tech person. But, installing the ap and paring the devices was exhausting even Geek Squad could not get it done and after calling Bose directly it still wasn't easy and ultimately even with their help I am unable to use one remote to turn on the TV and the Bose sound bar. Must use the Bose remote to turn it on. Also, you must download the Bose app on your phone or tablet for the install and there are no speaker/subwoofer adjustments that you can make unless you have the app and all the other apps on my phone had to be deleted or disabled so the Bose app would work and it really screwed up my phone. Had I known how difficult it was going to be, I would not of purchased the Bose and maybe tired the Sonos Unit?? I might go back to old school tech. Just saying...

Firstly, if you don’t want to download the Bose app I would suggest you don’t purchase this sound bar. The Bose app is necessary for updates and changing the settings. Bluetooth connectivity is spotty at times, depending on the sound bar’s activity. The actual sound is amazing, even without the subwoofer. I feel like the price is a little high for the quality, but definitely a sound bar I’m happy to have purchased.

I love the built in google/amazon assistant. The sound quality is great. I do feel like you have to purchase the subwoofer with it to get the booming bass you would want when watching a movie or listening to music. But overall very satisfied. One big improvement Bose needs to work on is the app. It’s terrible. But the sound bar is perfect couldn’t be happier.

Another great sound coming from a Bose product. Easy setup but my main complaint is it is not compatible with any SoundTouch products. I therefore returned it and purchased the Sounbar 300 which is SoundTouch and significantly cheaper pushing me to purchase the rear speakers. If the issue with SoundTouch does not bother you then yes i would highly recommend the Soundbar 700.

Great sounding system. Definitely recommend getting the subwoofer which is in addition to this it is not included. Other than that got it in a decent sized living room and fills the entire room with sound. The app to set it up is a little bit cumbersome but once you get the hang of it it's not that bad.

I recently purchased a new home and wanted to have some nice speakers for when I host. Let me tell you, I've hosted a few times now and everyone who hears this thing along with the sub and surround speakers is astonished at the sound quality and bass it delivers. Very easy to set up. User friendly app. Easily change audio settings. I'm very well pleased.

The app you need to use to set up the soundbar is clunky and hard to use. Somehow the remote control unpaired from the soundbar and despite following all the answers from Bose on the community site I was not able to re-pair it to the soundbar. Without the remote you can't do anything. I needed to reset the soundbar to factory settings but since the remote wouldn't work I couldn't reset it. No buttons on the soundbar, no little button to push with a paperclip. I got tired of fighting it, returned the soundbar and the sub and bought a different brand. Didn't save any money but I did save myself further frustration. The sound was good, the experience was not.

This is a great soundbar that goes well with the TV. Coupling this with the Bose woofer too produces sound that is unbelievable. It doesnt take much time to get them configured, but knowledge of how apps are typically configured via mobile is certainly necessary. Nothing can go wrong with this buy. Sit back, relax and enjoy your TV shows or just music.

I bought the 700 Soundbar, 700 Bass Module and 700 Surround Speakers to have the complete 700 surround sound system. While it is pretty expensive, it sounds great for movies, tv shows and music. Just remember to use the Adapt IQ headset to calibrate the speakers to your room for the best sound.

Sound quality is as you would expect from a Bose product. Not too much bass where it crushes the vocals and not too less where action movies sound dull. Does occasionally have connectivity hiccups and I did have the remote die on me in 8 months. Luckily Bose warranty is excellent and got a replacement.

I have purchased many sound bars and have been frustrated that I still needed the closed captioning on. I turn them up so that I can barely hear the words but he music and sound effects always seem to be ridiculously loud. So while watching movies, I have always found myself holding the remote to turn it down during action or music scenes and then turning it back up to hear during dialogue. Until now! Finally a sound bar that I do not need to constantly adjust the volume on. I no longer need closed captions to read what is going on and miss out on the actors facial expressions. Really expensive but worth it for me! Drawbacks are the remote although great in theory, does not actually control my direct TV. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I have been through the setup process about 10 times to no avail. ALexa when asking her to tune to channel 721 will often tune to channel 21 or not do anything and so I have had to keep the original controls. It does not work with my Apple TV either. Really frustrating because it is a beautiful remote and would be nice if I could use it for everything.
