When I first got this, I thought it was enough by itself - which it could be for most since the sound is great. However, I like bass, so I went ahead and added the sub to it a few weeks later. Man what a difference the two together makes. No longer need my old 5.1 Dolby surround sound system.

Extremely impressed with the Soundbar700 and the Bose bass module 700. The soundboard offers great sound quality and decent base. If you decide to purchase the Soundbar 700, I would highly recommend the Bose base module 700 if you want that thumping base. You will not be disappointed

Easy to set up. Sound is amazing. Very slick design.

Third time is a charm. Tried two other sound bars but they each had poor remotes and lacked depth. The Bose 700 is different. It sounds multi dimensional, especially with the wireless rear speakers. Everything comes alive. Has plenty of bass even without the subwoofer. Highly recommend.

The Bose 700 WITH subwoofer, sounds great... the Bose 700 without a sub, is okay... but truly need the sub to complete the experience. The soundbar does fairly well with the perception of surround sound. I have the 700 soundbar, 2 rear speakers, and 2 of the 700 subwoofers. It sounds amazing with that setup.

My Bose- 700 Smart speaker sound bar is a great addition to my sound system. with the bass module it gives even more added sound the puts you in another place while watching anything. this by far is the best experience I have ever had with any sound system to date!

Bought this in 2021, use it everyday and it still works like it’s brand new! Such an amazing investment if you like watching movies or listening to music. It’s also amazing when hosting!

Never purchased a much more better sound bar than this one and it sounds so clear and so smooth! Loud, fancy, pricey but worth it. I also purchased it with the module 700 from Bose. Makes it even better.

My 15 plus yr old BOSE system died. Shopped around but nothing could compare. I was not about to pay over 3K for BOSE's newer Lifestyle 10 replacement. So I gave in and gave this a try. My only regret was waiting too long do fb it. It's amazing. The soundbar is clear and the it reflects sound of walls well enough that I dont miss the side cubes. I purchased the Bass module ca as well and saved $100 more. The bass module makes he house walls shake. The sound is awesome. Pro tip: The system has a unique way to measure sound in your room called Adaptiq. When setting this up make sure you disconnect power off the bass module even though instructions say to connect and pair. If not done the Adaptiq software will lower the bass output to give a balanced sound. I like my movie sounds to be felt so I did it my way after I heard what it did. For a split second it disappointed me but then my techie side put 2 and 2 together did a reset on system and boom got my bass back! Next I will purchase the rear speakers but for now not a necessity.

This has been the best surround sound bar I ever heard, but there are downsides to it no ATMOS and dts X. Bose Music app still needs to be improved and this doesn't support Sound Touch music speakers. Sonos still supports its old devices which is something bose should look into. For the price we should atleast get dts-x

I was excited to get this thing home and get it hooked up. My previous surround system had been out a month and i struggled justifying paying $800 for just a sound bar. I finally bit the bullet and got it, hoping for longevity and quality. Once unboxed it took me probably around 3 hrs to set it up. I have two WiFi routers in my house and as a heads up your phone and your Bose has to be connected to the same router. If Bose picks up one and your phone is linked to the other, it will not work. Plus you have no way of knowing which the Bose is hooked up to. Save yourself some time and turn off any extras you may have. The app on your phone is horrible. So set up i give a 1 star, sound i give a 4 star, not spectacular, but i have not gotten the satellite speakers or the Bass. The Bass is ok with just the Bar, much better than just the TV speakers.

The sound quality is awesome! I did have a slight issue with the universal remote controlling my TV but after a quick call with Bose Support, they send me an IR adapter that plugs into the sound bar and that resolved my issue.

Love the sound bar itself, but the Bose app is difficult and not very user friendly. Bought the subwoofer and back speakers, but it really doesn’t need them - the sound is that good.

Bose soundbar 700 gives amazingly good quality sound and base that most other soundbars don't give even after adding subwoofer. Base module for this soundbar is optional. I did not get base module as I live in apartment and after using it for about a month I know I made a good decision.

The Bose Sounbar 700 is for people who like Bose quality sound and plan to listen to music as well as TV through it. It does not have all of the same features as some of the other soundbars on the market whose main objective is to produce blockbuster movie sounds, that bounce around and swirl of the walls from every angle before it arrives at your ears. I'm willing to accept the compromise because I am just as likely to listen to music as watch TV, and was looking for something that was very respectable on both accounts. It fits the bill, although it definitely requires the subwoofer for depth and bass. The set-up is tricky and it's difficult to know what the front panel is indicating with it's lights...which is most annoying..I also don't like that you are dependent on a Bose app and not the remote to change settings such as base, treble etc...so it doesn't get 5 stars from me.

Bose Soundbar 700 is an excellent product with good sound quality.Easy to set up. I’m very impressed with the sound quality of this soundbar with the sub woofer. Overall, I rate this sound bar excellent. I would definitely recommend this soundbar to a friend.

The sound was good, but maybe priced a bit high for what was delivered for my expectations. The sound bar had a was easy to set up, although the Bose app was required to complete.

Great package if you buy the surround speakers and bass module but are on the expensive side. The wireless modules make it easy for setup and they come with google assistant and apple airplay. The quality of sound is top notch.

Obsessed with my new sound bar 700 ! It was easy to put up and set up . Watching movies and listening to my favorite songs has definitely turned into a new experience . The sound is crisp and definitely worth what you pay for.

This is probably one of the best sound systems you can get for your tv. It’s extremely clear and loud. The sound is truly amazing. I recommend going to the store and playing around with one on display. It’s quite pricey, but definitely worth it.
