Looks great. Sounds great. What can i say? Bose just know what they are doing. The atmos effect is amazing. I find myself looking around the room for sounds. An overall wonderful experience.

Very lovely sound .. Couldn’t wait to hang it up I’m a speaker guy , I would recommend Bose 900 series to anyone . Just buy it already .. Make sure you buy the Bose mount , makes it easier for the set up

Took some tweaking, but sounds great! Had a minor issue with first one so exchanged and ordered new one. Got it next day rather than 5 days later, but I wouldn’t suggest trusting a shipping company to take care of expensive equipment. Package was pretty dirty and beat up. Hopefully it survived.

Bose is simply spectacular…The sound quality is impressive! I totally recommend it!

It was great sound bar ever now i am debating if i stills need to get bass module since the sound bar alone pretty good already

The sound is amazing. My only issues are when adjusting volume it does not show the incremental scale on the tv display I would like to have a at least 1 additional input.

Pros: 1. Support to Dolby Atmos® and Atmos-encoded content - This was a feature that was not available on Bose Smart Soundbar 500 or 700 but has been included with 900. This is a great move by Bose to support the Dolby Atmos format which was introduced in consumer Home theater first in 2014. Dolby Atmos hase revolutionized the cinema experience with immersive sound. The sounds from the soundbar is truly incredible. It gives an exceptional theater like experience. I do not have the Bose Bass Module connected still the sounds from the speakers are amazing. Please make sure to increase the Bass using the Bose Music App. Otherwise it will sound like any regular speaker with 0 bass. Note - I do have earlier verion of Bose - Bose Cinemate 15 Home theater system with a subwoofer. If I just listen to the music or movies without the subwoofer, I can clearly feel the difference between that soundbar and Bose Smart Soundbar 900. Especially the Bass is really good. But Cinemate 15 with subwoofer has better sound. So If you want a true theater-like experience connect the Bose Bass Module. 2. Upward firing speakers(transducers) - There are 2 transducers - one on each end of the bar. This directs sound upward and reflect off the ceiling to produce lifelike, overhead sound which is truly amazing. Also the soundbar is well designed to include these transducers cutouts on both the ends. 3. Voice4Video technology using Google Voice Assistant/Alexa - This is one of the best features which i like on this Smart Soundbar. It is really easy to setup Google Assistant/Alexa using the Bose Music App. It is possible do tonnes of things like ask Google/Alexa for weather or latest news or a joke or play some music or control the volume of the speaker or even turn on/off the TV or make calls and what not. I really like this feature because i can control my speaker without the remote. Also the microphone on the speaker is very responsive except for when we the speakers are really loud. 4. Bose Music App Features 1. Volume control 2. Create a Group using SimpleSync - a. Pair any bluetooth speaker with this Bose Smart Soundbar for more sound around the house b. Pair Bose Smart Soundbard with Bluetooth headphones which lets one to mute or reduce the soundbar volume while the headphones stays loud 3. Select a Source - Bluetooth device like a Phone or Tablet or Computer and TV 4. Audio controls a. ADAPTIQ which optimizes the sound from the speakers depending on the room - requires us to plug in the Headset to the Smart soundbar (The Headset is included with the Smart Soundbar) - Please note that this feature was not supported at the time when i reviewed this product. b. Dialogue Mode - When this mode is turned on, the dialogues/spoken words are more clear. Very nice feature. c. Control of Bass, Treble, Center Channel, Height Channel (0-100 - increments of 10) - Please note that Center Channel and Height Channel controls were not supported at the time when i reviewed this product. 5. Settings - 1. Setup Voice Assistant - This was pretty easy to setup. 2. Setup Accessory Speaker - I haven't tried this as I did not have a Bose Bass Module. If one would like to connect the previous versions of Bose Base Module 500 or 700 they are compatible with this soundbar. 3. Control Audio 4. Power control 5. Responsive Remote control with Matt finish - The remote on my old Bose sound system Bose Cinemate 15 was terrible. We had to point it straight to soundbar to make it work. Bose has designed the remote control well on this soundbar as it picks up the signal even when we are slightly away from the soundbar. Cons: 1. Remote control is not same like the earlier Smart Soundbar 700. It does not have the backlight feature. It has only the following buttons - Power, Music, TV, Bluetooth, Volume +/-, Mute, Rewind, Play/Pause, Fast Forward, 1 to 6. So it is difficult especially in the night if we want to Play/Pause, Rewind or Fast Forward. Wish the Bose Music app had all the similar controls on the app. 2. Bit pricey as we need to buy the Bass Module separately which takes the overall price to around 1500 dollars to get the real theater experience, but the inclusion of Dolby Atmos gives a little bit of 3. Shiny glass top - If the speakers are placed right beneath the TV, it might cause distraction due to the reflection from the TV. I have placed the speakers a little below so I don't have much issues with it.

Bose 900 soundbar w/Bose 700 Sub sound Awesome! Clear sounding! I’m glad I purchased the Bose. Best Buy Salesman was trying to tell that Bose is old technology, but at other MFG’s are taking a page from Bose.

I purchase this a few weeks ago to replace the Bose Soundbar 500. The sound is much richer and the Bose is more pronounced even with the 500 bass module. The sound quality is an improvement and worth the upgrade.

Amazing what a difference these speakers made I would recommend if you want to enjoy sound quality!

Best soundbar to date I've had! Compared to my Sony, LG and Vizio soundbars I've had the clarity of this Bose is amazing.

I purchased this as a gift to myself with the 700 bass module and surround sound speakers love it no distortion at high volume.

The sound was good but not worth the money as seems overpriced. The voice from TV not seemed to be too much different.

Amazing sounds. Totally worth it. It compares to Sonos, I think this is superior. I’m also bias to bose products. Setup is grueling but worth it for sound quality.

Great investment for a home theater system! Sound is very clear. It projects througout the entire room and very immersive once you pair with the bass module.

Great sound but not amazing. For that kind of money you can get a full blown surround sound system and enjoy a grander experience. The glass top collects dust and finger prints easily.
