    I bought the Bose Smart Soundbar 900 a week ago. I'm really sorry I did and will be returning it and going with Sony. The sound is good with the base module 700. And it looks really nice. The big draw back for me is that you have to use a phone app to control it. What a pain! It pretty much makes the remote useless. I'll go back to Sony which has a screen driven menu.

      Sorry to hear that you've returned your Soundbar, we appreciate you giving this a go.

      The Bose Music app allows you to get the most out of your product. Easily set up your soundbar, choose your voice assistant, run the ADAPTiQ audio calibration system, group compatible smart home products, and more. As for your remote control, this functions power, source (music, tv, Bluetooth), volume, mute, media playback and presets. Additionally, if you'd like to use a different IR remote to control your soundbar, you can also do so.
