I can attest that the Bose Smart Soundbar 900 is a high-quality product that was easy to set up, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions from the Bose Music app. To me, paired with the Bose Bass Module 700 subwoofer and the compatible surround speakers, this latest installment has helped create the best sound system I have to date! This model is a nice upgrade from previous Bose soundbars I've had the pleasure to own. In addition, the Smart Soundbar 900 is compatible with Apple Airplay, so I can maximally enjoy the home theater experience with my Apple TV console and absorb the incredible listening experience with music that I often access through iTunes! Through the years, Bose has evolved with top-notch products, including the Smart Soundbar 900. Also, the inclusion of Dolby Atmos enhances what one enjoyed years ago with 5.1 and 7.1 audio systems. All in all, Best Buy continues to selling top-quality electronics!

Nice Sound bar with Dolby Atoms... The sound from this sound bar is amazing. Movies, Music, and TV experience is at a different level now. The highs, the lows and dialog is very impressive. I hearing sounds that were only produced in the theaters. Connectivity with Bluetooth was easy and eARC with TV works nicely.. Only issue i faced was during setting my Bose music app. Soundbar went of upgrade automatically and took for ever. But when i did hard reset and tried again it worked and was able to connect to bose music app.

Typical Bose, big sound in a little package. The Atmos is amazing especially when you calibrate. I believe it absolutely needs the sub which I got and then was really thrilled. The soundbar does an amazing job with the mediums and highs. Love the size!

Great soundbar! I own the Bose 700 soundbar as well, but purchased this one for the Dolby Atmos capability. I have this paired with the Bass module 700 for room shaking lows, but even without a separate bass speaker, the soundbar delivers great lows.

4 stars due to constant disconnection issues. I have a Sonos sound bar in my family room for the past 4 years and never have I had 1 issue that I have with the Bose bar 900. And also, I find the surround 300’s better than the 700’s for better surround sound. I reluctantly recommend the bar to a friend or family member until the issue can be resolved.

You can only use Google or Alexa you can't use both. The mic is not nearly as good as the echo show 8 devices. The app and device is buggy. The volumn increases and decreases considerably while using amazon music. Which I'm not sure how the music service works if Google is activated. I know the echo works as an echo should. I can control different devices with my voice IF it actually hears me. The echo wall clock is not compatible. I am not sure about the other devices. Would be great if the firetv was also included. Get rid of the Google and keep Amazon everything. The sound is amazing. The 5.1 is spot on. The set up is simple. We bought all the speakers.

I already owned a Smart SoundBar 300 in one of my bedrooms, I think that one sounds awesome, I have been thinking about upgrading the sound in my living room home theater. I finally bit the bullet and bought this, Subwoofer 700 & the Bose 700 rear speakers. This entire package sounds awesome, music is punchy and full bodied, vocals from movies are crisp and clean! The Atmos effect is impressive even in my living room with 18 foot ceilings! It was an upgrade over my expensive home theater system. Easy to use, and setup, no switching inputs on a Home Theater Receiver anymore. Even my girlfriend was impressed with how it sounds!

    Loving It!

I have the 900 Soundbar and the 700 sub, upgraded from the 700 soundbar. I am loving this setup. It does a great job of filling the atmosphere with well-placed sound. It definitely sounds like there are so many things coming from all different speakers and it really fills the room. The atmos speakers of course adds to the vertical sound-field. However, since they're at the ends of the soundbar, nearly 3.5 feet apart, it also expands the horizontal sound field as well as right/left stereo dimensions. The speakers work well for Atmos, of course it won't replace in-ceiling speakers. But with the ADAPTIQ, the soundbar will make sure they are reaching you in a noticeable way. But more than that, Bose has created a system where all the speakers work together in concert to create an atmosphere that fills the room. For one example of what I mean, there may be times vocals are fed into the atmos speakers slightly to re-create the natural reverb a voice will bouncing off of all the walls. Lastly the atmos speakers are adding themselves as two additional tweeters to the mix from the 700, so Bose is able to funnel additional high range trebles into them as well. Like I said, this all works together in concert to create a clear, crisp sound - not just adding a couple height effects here and there. Separating the low end into the bass module just completes it all by adding room filling depth and body and a crisper mix from the soundbar. Well, if you can't tell, I'm really a fan! What makes it worth it over the soundbar 700 is that you're not just getting a few atmos effects here and there. Like I said, it expands not only the vertical sound field, but also the horizontal sound field - adds a lot more to the overall sound than just a couple effects, and brings in additional tweeters for an even crisper sound. Beat my expectations 200%. When you are samplying the soundbar in the store, you miss a lot of the benefits because there's no close walls or ceilings to know how it all sounds the way it's meant to be and through the ADAPTIQ. My furniture setup works against using rear surround speakers, otherwise I would probably have those, too!

This soundbar is fantastic. It’s everything you’d expect from Bose. All of our music and shows have a much more rich quality to them. The dialog mode was a large reason we chose this one as hearing voices is hard for my wife and I sometimes (yay hearing loss!). With dialog mode the voices are much more clear and easier to understand. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the remote. It is dark (meaning the controls), has no backlight which makes it even harder to see without turning on a light, and you have to use your phone app to control things like bass and adjust the center vs height. This may be minor for some or a big deal. For us it’s “eh” but annoying at times.

This thing is straight up expensive. However, if you are looking for an ALL IN ONE soundbar that DOES NOT require a subwoofer, this is it. It has plenty of bass to shake the walls and very detailed.

    Powerful Sound Bar

Easy set up. Very powerful and made to listen to modern day media content. It’s a smart bar so it can play music on it while playing the same on all your other smart speakers. Trouble understanding the voices in a tv show? A sound bar makes listening to modern day programming easier to hear and understand. This can also be enhanced by turning on the dialog feature that’s included in the software program. A subwoofer is a nice complement to the sound bar but it’s not totally necessary as the sound bar can be tuned to reproduce adequate bass, especially if you never had a subwoofer or a sound bar.

I’m not new to Bose but I have waited awhile to upgrade my Bose Solo TV soundbar. Decided it was time and it didn’t disappoint. Fantastic sound and bass you can hear. This has a lot more bass than what my Solo TV soundbar had so it was noticeably more punchy. But if you’re wanting to feel bass I’d say pair it will a 500 or 700 Bass Module. But for a soundbar it delivers. After setting up adaptiq it performed even better. I’m techy so when it came to set up, it was a breeze. Easy to update and get working. If you’re looking for a soundbar because of space or you don’t want to purchase the whole system I’d say this is a great soundbar to go with.

So there were initially some small issues regarding the CEC protocol for the sound bar and in the app under settings there are options 1 thru 7 for advanced CEC. Each of these are meant to solve a specific problem that users may encounter depending on the TV they are using. Once I figured out I needed option 6 or 7 ( soundbar was turning tv back on after turning everything off ) everything was good!!! The sound of this system is truly incredible and if you add the bass module and rear surrounds you will get a true cinema experience that you will wonder what took you this long to experience in the comfort of your home. There are so many cool things about this system but off the bat of your looking for amazing sound and good looks Bose is your system.

This is a superior sounding soundbar as one would expect from Bose. Easy to setup and control with the Bose app. Paired with the subwoofer Bose makes and you have a great sounding system for a fairly large room. My only complaint is that is will sometimes shut off on you randomly. Played with the settings and I think it is good now...but it was quite aggravating in the beginning as it would do it in the middle of a show. But seems like it could have been "user error" and I think I have worked out my kinks!

If you want to wall mount your sound bar I would recommend you get the Sonos or another sound bar, but if you just want to put it on your console. This is a great-sounding sound bar. It was pretty easy to use, but it didn't really work well with my LG C2 TV. I ended up returning it mostly because the wall mount was a pain and the Sonos has a great and easy setup. Bose it what it is. They have great sound quality, and they are generally a bit behind the times on technology, but fewer things go wrong with fewer features.

To begin with I am a long time Bose fan, I have many of their stereo speakers for a long time, including their Bose Acoustimass 16 HTS System, I even converted it to 11.4 Dolby Atmos in my dedicated HOme theatre, As soon Bose Sound bar 900 soundbar was released, I set my eyes on it, I know it is expensive to buy all the speakers at the same time, I bought Bass module 700 first was using it with my Bose TV speaker for almost a year, when the price dropped recently to $699 I jumped on it, then picked up a openbox Surround speaker pair for 4really cheap at one of the Bestbuy stores, so now I got my complete wireless Home theater system, this System produces a great soundstage only when all speakers are connected and you go through adaptiq, it produces a great sound with a good degree of separation, mit is as good as having dedicated surround speakers, they say it produces 9.1.6 atmos sound, where 5.1 comes from from sound bar and rear surround speakers. You need to have reasonable volume for the surround system to really open up, lot of things matter to have a good soundstage like Room acoustics, flat ceiling above you and your seating position, I tried every soundbars out there like Samsung Q990c and LG S95QR, nothing can match the clarity of Soundbar 900,
