Crisp, Clear and with good bass. Over all, I think that the 500 is a better speaker then the Bose Portable Smart Speaker. More Power.

Techy - but Great Sound!

Bluetooth is a bit Wonky - it like my Laptop better than my desktop...lol. If the Laptop is anywhere near it - it switches from the Desktop to the laptop. I fixed it by adding an auxillary cord from the Bose to my desktop. Again - the Sound is Fab! Just might be a bit more "techy" for me to do what I wanted originally.

I have been streaming movies from my laptop on the screen — a Covid-friendly way to entertain friends in my backyard. I needed a blue tooth enabled speaker to pair with my laptop. And the sound quality is excellent.

This speaker sounds AMAZING! I really like that Bose allows you to EQ the highs and lows which is awesome. I also love the fact that you can pair this with other compatible Bose products giving you an awesome overall surround! I highly recommended this speaker!

Great sound but limited Alexa

It fills up my bedroom and let me enjoy a wide range of internet music stations. My second reason I bought this is because of the Alexa integration. And here it falls short. Although both Alexa and Bose advertise with this item being able to be used as Alexa (except calling and texting - which was confirmed by Best Buy when I picked it up), that is not the case. For example my lights connected through a smart wi-fi plug are not controlled by this Alexa integrated speaker. In other words there is no full Alexa control. That is a huge disappointment given the price tag and promise they made with this speaker. After calling Bose technical support they told me that most likely this will be changing in a couple of months (????).

Dynamic sound!

I really love it’s sound quality and I can compare it to a different version like another type of system and this BOSE system clearly tops them all. Bose is the best system that tops them all and I am very happy with my choice.
