Few months later npw and it has conncection issues where it cuts in and out of sound for no reason. Have tried it with 3 different TVs and my computer and it does the same thing. Very disappointed in the quality of this Bose product.

Terrible purchase

After hours of trying to connect it to my TV I decided to save my energy and return it. I've never bought an open box item from Best Buy and finally decided to try it out. Now I see why and doubt if I would again.

It just isn’t crisp enough and lacks bass even though I have it turned up to 90 out of 100. The price is considerably more than the LG Soundbar which would pair better than the Bose, since it would allow the TV speakers to work simultaneously. So today I ordered an LG sound bar for hand the price. So we will see if the LG has a crisper sound than the Bose Ultra.

If you find the soundbar is lacking in bass, you can - as you mentioned - turn the bass up via the Bose app, by tapping the Audio button and then adjusting the bass level. You can also enable AI Dialogue Mode, which is designed to provide ultra-crisp vocal clarity, as it adjusts the tonal balance accordingly. With the Soundbar Ultra, all of the accessories are completely optional, so to get more from your Soundbar's audio quality make sure that you run through the Adaptiq Calibration process and make sure you adjust the EQ to find settings that are right for you.
