Best of all I only have the ultrasound bar I will be getting 700 surround and 700 bass module I can't wait to truly unleash all it can do

Bose Ultra Soundbar rocks!

Purchased it along with the Bose Base Module 700 and now rockin' home movies and music. Bluetooth built in the soundbar is nice and easy to connect with smartphones and tablets.

I have nothing but praise for Bose and the quality of sound they produce. I recommend them to anyone that will listen and prove it by letting them hear the sound quality anytime I have company too.

Great TV Audio, but some challenges with music

Set up was straight forward and pretty easy. The AI Dialogue mode is great, and we have been able to turn off closed captioning on most of our viewing. I was hoping to replace my stereo separates with the Smart Ultra, using my BluRay player for CDs, however passing audio through the TV to the Smart Ultra resulted in thin and unsatisfying audio. I found that using my phone as the audio source via AirPlay to be much better. As I do not have the subwoofer, the Smart Ultra did struggle with some of the music, but overall, I am very happy with the results. Finally, the app is quite limited in what it can do, and the built-in SiriusXM functionality does not seem to have access to the extended digital SiriusXM channels, so I am back to using the SiriusXM app on my phone and AirPlaying to the SmartUltra.

It’s like you’re there, same room or at a football game. I’ve had Bose most of my adult life, speakers, acoustic wave stereo (from the 80’s) and still works well almost 40 years later. It isn’t fully set up, bass, treble, etc., and the calibration set up is very impressive. When watching a movie and the actors are walking left to right, you can actually hear it through all the speakers from l to r. It’s simply an amazing soundbar and well worth every penny, you’ll be glad you’ve purchased it.

I own Bose Soundbar 600 and wanted to purchase Bose Ultra Soundbar for a different room. While I really liked its look and design, connecting it to WiFi was really painful. The sound quality was not better than Soundbar 600. I was very disappointed, although I intend to keep it (bought it for $570 as an open item). Bose Ultra Soundbar was manufactured in Malaysia. I am not sure whether that might have affected its quality. All previous Bose Products I own were manufactured in China.

I have owned many Bose products in the past and this soundbar that I paired with the SB500 subwoofer has not disappointed. I tried a different brand first trying to save a few bucks but ended up returning it in favor of the Smart Ultra. I have not experienced the connection issues that others have mentioned. Other than the firmware update that took place without warning it has performed flawlessly.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't do reviews too much, I've owned the 300 and the 700 The 300 was the worst 700 was okay, but the Bose ultra blue me away when I connected it to the subwoofer and the back speakers it blew me away I even had to turn it down it got so loud, if you buy this you'll be so surprised of the sound quality, I'm so happy I bought it because everyone told me don't buy it because it's almost identical to the 900, but when connecting this thing it blew me away.
