I originally bought a Samsung HW-J450 Sound Bar for my 55" Samsung 4K TV, but the sound was not that much better than the TV. I got the BOSE Solo on sale for $400 instead. It was roughly $150 more than the Samsung, but worth it. I use the sound bar in my basement which is about 350 Sq Feet. The sound is great and more than adequate for my space. I am a big fan of Bose and this speaker did not hurt the cause.

I have a 48" LED TV by Samsung, adding Bose Soundtouch to it, added to my gaming and video playing experience on my new TV. It has a extremely good acoustics for its size. It comes with universal remote and now I dont have to carry my TV or cable remote. I love the product.

My need was to have better clear sound which was not sufficient enough from my smart TV and I don't want to have multiple speakers with wires running around.
This one served my need as I can place my 50" TV on top of it. Configuring took me less than 5 minutes.
Bluetooth pairing with my iPhone and iPod is excellent.

We were looking for a sound bar that would fit into our shelf unit and also be compatible with the remote that we use. This device fits nicely under the TV and is easy to install the one wire to the TV audio out port. It even sync'd easily to our multi-system remote. It could use a bit more bass for my taste but the overall sound quality is pretty good. A nice compromise to a more complicated system.

The Bose Solo 15 Series II has very crisp highs and thundering lows even at low volumes. I like how it sits under my 46" TV almost hidden out of sight as it seems just part of the furniture or the base of the TV. installation was quick and simple using the provided optical audio cable and power cord. Make sure your TV has the optical port. the Solo comes with a great functional universal remote control. The only thing I don't like about the remote is that it doesn't have a dedicated button to turn on or off just the Solo. This became more apparent when you pair multiple devices to the remote's master power button to turn on all of your A/V equipment in a single press (which is awesome that it does that). If for some reason the on/off of your devices becomes out of sync with each other, the Solo is the only device you can't switch on or off individually (unless you don't pair any other devices with the Master Power button). The design of front LED lights is simple, but it lacks a volume or bass meter. You have no idea if the volume will blast you when you first turn it on or if it will be very from whomever used the sound system last.
The Bluetooth function to pair with your smartphone is fantastic as it replaces the need to have a full A/V receiver/amp speaker system for just music.
Overall, i love the Bose Solo minus the cons i mentioned. I highly recommend this model.

Had previously purchased a Bose Solo 10 for another TV which drastically improved the sound quality of that TV. Based on that purchase, we decided to purchase the Solo 15 Series 2 when we purchased a new 4k TV. Did not disappoint our expectations.

After purchasing a new TV with the speakers in back we were immediately looking for something to improve the sound quality. This Bose soundbar did the trick. Impressive sound for such a small unit. The unit even sounds good at very low volume when watching TV late at night. Bluetooth syncs easily and works well. The only negative is the surround capability as it lacks in this regard. We were not looking for surround sound so this unit met our expectations perfectly.

I read a lot of reviews before parting with my money. I also compare models and look at specs. The Solo 5 is $200 cheaper. But one spec stood way out- the weight. the 5 weighs less than 4 lbs, the Solo 15 weighs 12 lbs. Weight=magnets=sound. So on that note, I parted with $450, and took home the Solo 15 Series II. This thing is heavy, and much deeper in size than I thought. Hook up was a breeze, and the sound is unbelievable for a one piece speaker system.(by the way, the specs say both the 5 and the 12 have 1 speaker. Not true, just all in one package}
The universal remote is also truly amazing. It was so easy to connect to my TV and cable box. One click of the power button and all three come on ,and I really can use one remote for every thing. Well designed and laid out too. The only thing it won't connect to is my Apple TV.
And if your like me and have a hard time with some movies understanding what the heck the actors are saying, you really need this. While the audio is way better than the other sound bars and home theater systems I've had, there are still sometimes when I have issues. But...walla! I hit the dialog mode, and it makes the spoken work crystal clear.
And last but not least, its a cinch to hook up my phone or computer to it via bluetooth to play music. All in all, I think this is a great value!

I have had this product for about a month now, and it has met every expectation I have had.
I have it on a dresser in my bedroom along with a 55 inch tv. It has a great, full sound and will play as loud as you could possibly want it to. I also like that it doubles as a stand.

The new thinner 4K tv's [ mines a Sony 55" 4K ] seem to have slightly less sound volumn due to the limited space for speakers. After looking at all the 2.1 sound bars, settled on the Bose Solo 15 because of Bose
quality. This unit produces ultra clear sound and great base.

This is easy to place it on table and get a very good sound. I got this model because:
1. It has Bluetooth and easy to pair.
2. It can turn on and off with TV by detecting the sound. Had the original model that needed to be turned on separately.
3. It has a better remote compared to SOLO 10 though I hardly use it.
4. It can change base with remote though I hardly change that setting.

I have been looking for something to help the sound out in the bedroom and have been searching for a while. My wife didn't want a full surround sound like in the living room. So we were at Best Buy and we tried the Bose solo and we both loved it. I would recommend it.

We added this to a small entertainment center in our living room in lieu of a multi-speaker system to save space and we are very happy with the sound quality and volume. we thoroughly enjoy movies and sports, and even music from an iphone or ipad over our bose.

This speaker has great sound and it's compact size is a plus. I have purchased other Bose speakers that I am very happy with; the Solo 15 Series II is what I expected. I like the bluettooth feature for streaming music. The multi-function remote is a plus too.
