Speaker sounds great. On sale it was affordable. Very easy set up. Love that it can play music off of my IPad through Bluetooth.

This was a nice entry level sound bar and boasts a great sound! easy set up and super loud makes it a great buy!

I bought this sound bar for the voice enhancement feature, and it has been great. I paired this with an older Samsung tv and have been able to use the Xfinity remote to control most of the functions. Dialog is much easier to hear now, even when background sound tracks are intrusive. I also connected my iPhone via Bluetooth, making all of my stored music available. Sound is excellent from such a small device! Very pleased with this purchase.

As I am a bit older, many actors on TV shows appear to whisper, or voices are muffled. This sound bar has resolved that situation. I did have to raise the base a little. The Bose remote also controls my Optimum cable box functions completely.....

Great sound for voices as a person in the household has a hearing proble. I have bought numerous Bose products and all of them are of the highest quality. Very happy so far, will be syncing to my systems and hope that goes well.

Great sound for such a compact speaker. We use it connected to our tv and to stream content over Bluetooth in a large open room and it sounds great!

Initially I wasn't so sure this speaker was worth it but after several weeks and a few movies, I now appreciate it's capabilities. The remote seems like overkill as I can't get it to learn my RokuTV but otherwise great soundBar.

The BOSE SOLO 5 Soundbar enhances the sound from my new 55 inch Samsung TV. It was reasonably priced. Note that the remote that comes with the Soundbar after programming can control my TV, Cable Box as well as the Soundbar so I do not need 3 remotes to assist me with my TV watching. I am using it in a room 11 x 10 and I did not want to have over-powering sound. I would say the Bose Solo 5 does a great job for me.

My first sound bar! Great price and quality sound. You can hear every detail, little things in the background that make a difference in how you watch and interpret movies. All without being overbearing and obnoxiously loud.

I have a small living room and this soundbar is perfect for it. The sound quality is very good. The universal remote control that comes with it is a plus!

One must use the Bose remote to turn on the sound, it cannot be programmed into the Comcast remote. This takes getting used to and an extra remote to deal with. The sound is good and one can toggle between speech and music.

This product does as it says. It greatly improves the clarity of the dialogue from your TV, compared to the internal speaker, without needing to increase the volume. The overall sound quality is superior as well. The remote can replace your existing one and adds features specific to the sound bar, such as being able to toggle between normal settings and the enhanced dialogue mode. It is a huge improvement and solved a very annoying condition with my otherwise very good TV.

Great sound and size. Good price. You need special mounting for this, not all mounting will work.

We purchased a Samsung smart tv to replace our original analog tv. The picture is great but the sound was really bad we had to turn it up all the way and the sound was muffled. We had looked into surround sound systems and were afraid they were just to much for our small space. After talking to a couple of sales reps at Best Buy we purchased the Bose sound bar. It was the right choice not only does our tv now have great sound my I phone music is now my home stereo system. I love how this has worked out for us.

Great sound and quality comes in this small package. For what we use the sound bar for it is perfect. If you are an audiophile and like the ultimate experience then this is probably not going to be the sound bar for you. However if you are the average person just looking for something that sounds great and likes a brand name at a great price then this is the one for you. Had the Bose for three weeks now and love it. Perfect for my needs and ears. You will hear everything!

The Bose sound bar makes your flat screen TV sound great (instead of the wimpy speakers the TV comes with). It is best if you use an optical cable. The only problem I encountered was when I placed it in front of the TV on the console it blocked the "window" the TV uses for the remote. I had to raise the TV up an inch to remedy this. Also don't try to use the sound bar with an older tube type TV. The magnets in the bar are so strong, they distort the color.

Compact with great sound. Worth the money. If you listen to movies or music that need a lot of bass,you might want an extra bass unit.

This sound bar was compact enough for our bedroom, where we have a 32" Sharp TV. My hearing isn't it used to be, and although the TV speakers were loud enough, there were a lot of shows where I could not follow the dialogue through the background music and sound effects. This Bose speaker makes the voices pop out, has much better bass (as expected) and just sounds great. Very easy to set up and I programmed the included remote control for the TV and my Tivo, so I only need 1 remote for all 3 device.
