For bose it should be better

Gives the sound boost I needed!

My existing speakers (5) are on the wall near the corners and behind the viewer. This sound bar has a special setting for dialogue that sharpens the sound and adds great clarity as well as a nice directional sound at listening level slightly in front and below the screen. Love it.

Decent Sound Bar

Sound is much better but if you are looking for a surround sound experience, this is not what you are looking for. Also was not able to consolidate remotes, so I am currently opening TV with one remote and opening sound bar with sound bar remote. I'm sure if I took time to call Bose or Sony issue could be resolved.
