Ease of pairing makes it an absolute delight. For an entry level soundbar it does have an amazing sound with cool 3d surround sound. Esp that "helicopter" sound coming from left and right. Overall an amazing soundbar from Bose.

The TV is on the wall and the dialog was hard to understand; I was always reading the closed captions. The Bose sound bar has a voice feature that makes all the dialog easy to hear. Also, I did not want a separate woofer; I thought it would distrub my neighbors. The quality of the music is excellend without it.

I felt the sound quality and features of the Sony were better than the Bose. The separate sub and ability to pay music via the usb pushed me to keep the Sony. If the Bose had an hdmi connection it may have tipped the scales.

He has trouble understanding the dialogue and this has been a tremendous help! Although I have some hearing loss, his is worse. So this has helped us both. Now I am not completely blasted with the volume so high! We are both very pleased! Thanks for a great product!

It has superb separation and just enough base to fill the room. The only issue with it is you can only raise and lower the volume with the Bose remote. The unit doesn't recognize adjusting the volume from the TV when using the optical connection.
