    Best compact sound bar value on the market. Bought one for our lake home and am so impressed we will buy one for our home when we return. Great feature is the dialogue setting when listening to news that allows voices to be clearly heard, plus the overall fidelity and exceptional bass output for such a small sound bar! Love it!

    Bought this open-box as a replacement for what I thought was a defunct soundbar system for our main TV. Once I got the prior system working again, I moved this to a TV in a smaller room and what great sound it puts out for a small room! The ease of hookup was also a bonus!

    We are not major 'sound techies' - - we wanted something that was easy to set-up and still provided good sound quality. The Bose Solo 5 Soundbar has delivered. The ability to engage 'voice clarity' is very helpful for those who are a bit hard-of-hearing! Quality seems really good!

    I bought this mostly using Best Buy points and paid $65. Gets very loud for movies. Remote is a little too big and some features don’t work or have a button in some apps. I like the dialogue button feature that brings out speech. It’s good when viewing at lower volumes. Overall good product.

    this entry level sound bar sounds fantastic. My mom always has trouble understanding the dialogue on some tv shows... NOT WITH THIS.... The vocals come out nice and clear. Excellent Choice. I love hearing mom talk about the tv shows and movies she watches now.

    This sound bar is very good for a smaller room. The dialog setting is very effective in cleaning up mushy sound so that even hard of hearing people can understand what is being said. It removes some of the high and low ranges and enhances the mid ranges so the spoken word is easier to hear. The default setting is fine for most music audio

    We added the Bose Solo 5 to our 2009 LG 37" LCD in the den and the audio improvement over the TV speakers is amazing. Installation and setup was simple and we are completely satisfied with the purchase. Like our Bose WaveCD radio, this will become one of the two most used pieces of audio equipment at home.
