We bought this soundbar for our bedroom. Works perfectly for the area. Compact and super easy to set up.

Bought this as a speaker for my gaming setup. Far exceeds my expectations for such a small speaker but this is also the first time I've ever bought anything BOSE. It would also work well for a small tv setup but in a large living room you would probably want something bigger

I wanted something that wasn’t overly big. I also wanted something with very good sound and after staying in the Best Buy store for over an hour and listening to the difference between Sonos and Bose I finally made a decision and bought the solo and I’m very glad I did. great sound!!

The soundbar is easy to setup and the controller is easy to connect with other units and other controllers connect to it. The sound is very good especially the dialog mode. The only problem is that the dialog mode has to be turned on every time and the mode cannot be turned on from other controllers.

We wanted clearer sound from our 52” TV. Have had other sound devices from Bose in the past, so decided to look at Bose again. A nice salesperson at Best Buy, based on my needs, led me to the Bose 5 TV Sound System. It was very easy to hook up to the TV, and it sounds just great.

Just the right size. Great sound. Very easy to setup.

It sounds ok, but there are as good sound systems for less money, does not take up alot of room, and that is a plus

Bought this for a family member as a gift. They loved it! The sound is nothing short of the great Bose sound. This sound bar was used to make hearing the tv easier. The EC speakers were hard to hear but with this now everything can be heard. It also has a button on the remote for conversation mode where it amplifies the voice to make hard conversations heard easier. Highly recommend this sound bar for the price! Plus it’s easy to hook up!

Bought this for my TV and I have to say that it makes an amazing difference. I can hear everything so much clearly than before. And the included universal remote works everything ... it replaces 3 separate remotes. You can spend more money but it may not make any difference.

Nice sound. Bass is decent even without a subwoofer. Some Bluetooth issues but overall great soundbar.

This is our 2nd Bose Soundbar. We bought SoundTouch 300 for the living room and are loving it! Solo is a big sound in a smaller package. It comes with the universal remote so we paired it with our Smart LG TV and are operating both the TV and Bose Solo with the Bose universal remote.

The Bose Solo 5 is passable for music. Its sound profile is decently well-balanced, especially in the mid-range where vocals and lead instruments are reproduced. However, its integrated subwoofer doesn't create a very extended low-bass, which may be disappointing for fans of bass-heavy music genres. It's also Bluetooth-compatible, so you can easily stream podcasts to the bar from your phone wirelessly. Unfortunately, it doesn't get very loud, and it doesn't have a dialogue enhancement feature. Unfortunately, there aren't any sound customization features available. It doesn't support Dolby Atmos content, and it downmixes surround sound into stereo.

The sound gives out such great music I don't know what I'll do without it. I'm loving the size of it. It sits perfectly in front of my 50 inch. I'm so pleased to have the Bose bar in the company of my home. The you so much for having it available.

I love this soundbar, it is easy to hook up and takes up very little space. The sound is as good or better than the one I was using that had full surround speakers. I decided to replace the old one because I didn't want wires everywhere. This Bose looks great and sounds better. Well worth the money.

I wanted something smaller and one remote. It makes such a difference when watching a movie or sports. You feel like you are almost right there. The size is great as well. It takes up less space. It makes one feel like they are in a movie theater.

It fits perfectly on my fireplace mantle. Easy to hook up to the TV and the remote is universal.

We have our TV on a mantle and I needed a soundbar narrow enough to fit in between the TV stand arms. This fits perfect. Although it doesn't have the rich bass that you get with stand alone subs, it connects easy & we love the bluetooth connectivity. We stream pandora from a phone or computer through it frequently.

For its size and price, this is a great addition to a small living space. Can’t go back to regular tv sound.
