Instructions to install weren’t very clear, YouTube helped immensely. Easy once understood, had up and running in less than 30 min.

I purchased this hoping it would help my husband hear the tv. He has a hearing problem and this has really helped. I am so happy!

Purchased because our speakers on our TV was in the back and could never really hear the sounds especially on movies.

I connected this to a 40" smart tv. I was wanting richer fuller sound in my workout room without breaking the bank. This speaker achieved the goal.

Amazing sound it's everything you expect from BOSE. The remote is to big and bulky and does not adjust the volume as easily as most.

Bose soundbar is great. I have some hearing loss and it makes the tv sound crystal clear without having to blast the sound

Definitely a good step toward an immersive TV/movie experience. Sounds really nice and doesn't "boom" on you! Certainly a keeper!

There is a small selection of soundbars under 25" wide. This is a generally good soundbar, but much higher priced than the other ones in the small category. It has a talk show mode and bass reduction which are two of the features why I purchased this for my hearing impaired mother. But neither feature really changes the sound much, if at all. So it would be a good soundbar if you want improvement over the built in TV speakers, but not if you want it for anything else.

The Bose Solo 5 soundbar sounds great and doesn't take up much space. Bought specifically for dialogue enhancement. It worked for me.

The Bose soundbar makes it much easier to hear the TV compared to just the TV's built-in speakers. The only complaint I have is it takes hitting the volume remote 20+ times to gradually raise the volume instead of other soundbars I've owned that only have 5-10 volume intervals. Also, the "universal" remote is clunky and doesn't pair well with my cable box. All in all, good sound though.

Excellent quality. I only wish the interaction with our tv and satellite would work better in terms of connectivity.

This has really enhanced the sound of the television. It does not sound so tinny and the bass really comes out with music.

So I am a Bose fan but this isn't what I expected from Bose at all. I would say you get what you pay for. My previous soundbar with Samsung was way better and cost about the same 10-years ago. I feel my TV Speakers put out just as much sound as this Bose soundbar does. I'm surly not putting Bose down here as they have penalty of great products, but i'm truly not happy with this purchase.

What can I say? Incredible sound, quality, works perfectly to small rooms. The best brand!!

This sound bar provides excellent sound and does not take up as much space as some others we looked at. We are very pleased with the purchase.

Our old sound bar was ok but we had to turn it way up to clearly hear the talking. With this bose we have no trouble at all

For the price of this sound bar and being bose I would have expected it to be expandable but definitely a worth having
