This is a generally good soundbar, but much higher priced than the other ones in the small category. It has a talk show mode and bass reduction which are two of the features why I purchased this for my hearing impaired mother. But neither feature really changes the sound much, if at all. So it would be a good soundbar if you want improvement over the built in TV speakers, but not if you want it for anything else.
