Returned to store with questions about use of soundbar remote. Day after installation, tv (6 mo. old) developed major problems, First could not tun tv off with remote, then couldn't turn ON. Extensive exam by tv service provider, new remote control, tv still not functioning. Still undetermined if connection between soundbar installation and tv operation.

I also have tried the enhanced voice but it's had to know if it is on or off now. Also don't like that it doesn't sync up with my direct tv remote. Now I have the hassle of programming the bulky bose remote which I haven't gotten around too yet. All in all it works like a sound bar should, great volume for how small it is.

It is very short on options, for instance, it does not have hdmi arc in. That is available on most lower level brand soundbars these days even. The best part about this speaker is the vocals. I eventually brought this back and purchased a system with a separate sub.

It helps the dialog come through much better than tv speakers. Our tv had the speakers pointing down so everything was muffled. This is perfect until we can get a better system that actually does more in the surround sound department. Be careful of the optical cable connection. We've lost sound a few times and it was the optical cable that popped out.
