The Solo 5 is engineered for smaller rooms like a bedroom or den. If you'd like to increase the bass a bit, please try these steps: 1. On the remote control, press the Bass button. The status indicator blinks white three times. Press + to increase bass to your liking. 2. Press the Bass button to exit the bass adjustment mode. Hard to adjust volume
