Not even? In my experience almost every Samsung has terrible sound when it comes to a TV but hooking this up literally made no difference. Bose used to have a good name, I have a very expensive 2016 Infiniti QX-70S that also has Bose speakers...guess I should have known as I'm not that impressed with them (or Infiniti anymore for that matter - double review!) either. Endpoint - especially for the ridiculous price do not buy! I have the Vizio SB3821-C6 38-Inch 2.1 Channel Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer connected to a much newer Samsung 55in and literally bug out that someone is in my house because the sound is so "large", realistic, and incredible.

To ensure the best sound, we would recommend checking that the internal speakers are disabled on your mother's TV. This will avoid any possible "echo" that would occur when both sets of speakers are outputting audio.
