Like that it has a mode for dialog (great for watching the news or a talk show). Makes the TV speakers sound like crap in comparison. Wish it would put a volume/ bass level indicator on the TV screen, but that would have made this more expensive.

Not as promised but not awful

Saleslady promised big sound, distinct difference in 'voice mode', and easy hookup. I have none of these. The sound is good. It's way better than the tinny flat tv speakers. Problem with my hookup is the remote would not control things properly. I youtube'd. I read the instructions. Then I did both again. Still no results. Hooking up with the digital audio would not work. The remote volume &tv volume were 2 different actions. I had no choice but to purchase additional splitters for the tv, to convert to 'aux' 1/8" headphone jack input on the back of the Bose unit. Now my cable remote can mute & control the volume. I still need the Bose remote to power down the unit, as the "turn off when no audio is detected" function also does not respond. I was so mad after trying all scenarios, I wanted to return it. But I don't want the hassle of trying to hook up another one. It works. It's better than stock tv speakers. I'll just bite this bullet and move on.

Easy to install and easy to operate. The design looks and feels high end and looks like it belongs in my living room. The only negative is that I can't get it to work with my Direct TV remote so now I have to use two remotes which is somewhat inconvenient.

Great Sound, but not able to get the remote right.

I have to use the TV remote for that. I was told by an "expert" that it is the fault of the cable provider I use. (Not Comcast.) The sound is excellent. I highly recommend this sound bar. But it's a Bose. That says everything.
