I bought this simple sound bar because I had problems with a couple that had subwoofers, where they just didn't sound right and I had to return them. This was super easy to install and sounds great.

Excellent for tv sound in apartments condition this is a good little speaker. It works well, has solid bluetooth input from your phone and other devices. While it has a good amount of bass for a sound bar (and a small bar at that), it's not a subwoofer and feels just a bit flat compared to one. It's a nice small footprint.

Great sound bar. I recall it was easy to set up as long as you follow the directions. The universal remote is more than I actually need, but I love that it has a voice/conversation button so the speech in the movie or show stands out above the music. Sometimes I just stream YouTube playlists of my favorite bands on my TV and leave it on as a stereo. Highly recommend.

We mounted a 37in TV to the wall and wanted a sound bar to provide better audio than the TV speakers. This Bose sound bar delivers! It is small - about 2 feet long and does great in a medium size room. With the 37 in tv, the bar does not appear too small in comparison. The sound bar provides good, deep, rich voices for movies, news, and sports. An added feature is you can pair the speaker to your phone and use the BOSE as an external speaker to play music! A great feature!

First of all I was blown away by the price. A Bose sound bar for under $250? I had to ask the salesman who was helping us 3 times to make sure that price was right! We got it for a small living room and the sound is beautiful,. The bar is nice and compact so it doesn't take up much space and the set up was very easy. If you're looking for a great sound bar without spending a fortune, I highly recommend taking a good look at this one, it won't disappoint.

I bought this speaker because the speakers on my television set was hard to hear clearly at times. Also I didn't want a subwoofer. One, it helps with being able hear dialogue more clearly. Two, it was easy to set up. Three, the size makes it easy to place in front of the television on the tv stand( I can move it to other locations when needed). Four, I like being able to connect my bluetooth devices to listen to music. And last, it's Bose.

I wanted a single sound bar with great sound quality without spending too much money, for my bedroom. So far, very nice sound quality( agree there are speakers with better sound out there, but they cost much more). Other con is no subwoofer. If that is not your concern, this is a good buy. Uses optical cable, has no HDMI. Works well with my LG TV. Has its own remote and can be used as a Bluetooth speaker for my IPhone.

I was tired of having to use closed captions to watch certain shows. Rewinding because you didn't hear something clearly. This unit takes care of the problem. It has a button that will specifically enhance speech even though in its default mode it works perfectly. For those who like additional bass there is a mode that allows you to increase the bass. I was really impressed with the remote. It can pretty much do everything my Xfinity remote can do except for the buttons that light up. Now if your looking for surround sound effect or big sound this is not for you. Yes it does have an overall better sound, but not at a level found with other center speaker units. It's easy to set up. I connected to my tv with the optical cable. You can also connect via Bluetooth or RCA cable there is also an aux port. No HDMI.? I've read a couple of reviews that weren't favorable to the fact that if your in the dialogue mode and shut the unit off it will turn back on in the default mode. It's really no biggie. Certainly not a deal breaker. So if your like me and have some hearing loss and don't hear speech as clearly as you once did, look no further.

Small enough and offers great sound, I'm using it to replace speakers on our TV which has increased our viewing pleasure.

Our surround sound theater in a box system died after years of great service. Rather than go the same route and have additional speakers that are not needed, we simplified and when with a sound bar instead. Should have done this a long time ago. We have a Roku and Blu-Ray player connected to the TV and an optical digital audio cable from the TV to the sound bar. Done. Sound quality is excellent. Excellent mid-range and highs and the bass is quite good considering there is not sub-woofer. We are using this in our living room but it would also be great in a bedroom. Very happy with the purchase.

As stated in the title, the sound is very rich and deep compared to my tv’s speakers. We have a smaller living room and this is probably a little much for the space but it sounds great for just about all programming. The big plus is that it has Bluetooth and with the press of a button you can have music playing. Very easy to set up and get going, and compact so it’s barely noticeable and very unassuming to guests. When it’s cranked up my friends usually have a stunned look on their faces and think it’s coming from the tv. Overall it’s worth the money to upgrade tv speakers and add some depth and clarity to the tv experience.

Very satisfied with this purchase. The sound is great, haven’t mastered the controls yet but you can program it to operate with other TV, DVD and Cable remotes

Very affordable Bose compact sound bar. No need to be concerned about the quality of sound it delivers. Sound is amazing! I highly recommend this product. The bonus to this product is the universal remote that is included. The remote is easily programmed to control my television, cable box and sound bar. Again, I highly recommend this product.

I did not have any problems setting iit up. You just plug in a few cords and you are done. The sound is great. I have had this unit for about a month.

This little bose sound bar is one powerful monster it packs a punch the sound is beyond incredible very low profile.. delivers base with crisp highs

Set up was easy and I also was able to program the universal remote that came with it. I now can turn on TV,Bose Solo 5 and Cable box with 1 remote.

Bought this for a small TV in my kitchen. The kitchen is truly the heart of the home...everyone who comes by raves at the sound from this little TV!

The Bose-Solo 5 TV Soundbar was a great purchase and does not disappoint. It was easy to set up with my Sony TV. My room is now filled with great full sound. I like the Bluetooth feature so I can easily listen to music from my phone when I arrive home. It was a great recommendation from the Best Buy Sales Associate.

Good quality product for the money spent! Does the job good for an aprox. 250 sqft room. Small size...easy to install...good sound...good attributes for buying this product. For larger rooms and for those looking for more sound expectations I would recommend stepping up to a more powerful/elaborate Bose product.

I have a Bose sound bar on my tv and it sounds great so my nephew like it so much he wanted one. It was easy to setup and sounds great on his tv.
