This made up for that and cleared up the sound a lot. It’s very clear at higher volumes. Worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone.

As for using it in living rooms, there are better options at similar prices. But this product is a testament to the quality and simplicity that Bose continues to represent. Superior clarity and sound quality. Pricier product but zero issues otherwise
