I have the original Solo TV soundbar so when this came on sale at BestBuy I made made the purchase. It is very compact but packs a huge sound. Been very happy with this purchase and currently use it as a stand-alone speaker.

Great sound quality. I love the quality of the sound, especially while watching movies. It adds another dimension to the movie. Very easy to connect to my tv. You don't have to be an IT tech to connect it to your tv. I highly recommend it.

I was having a problem in that when I played a DVD, I needed to turn the volume way up. The sound bar eliminates that need and I hear a richness in the audio that I didn't have before. The base in the background music for example. Very pleased with my purchase.

Got this for my grandparents who didn’t want a lot of cords and complex stuff to setup. Works perfect

This sound bar is great for a small room that needs that extra boost to the sound quality that the TV just can’t produce. It does not have a subwoofer and doesn’t hit as hard as others that come with one, but it does the trick for the loft on my house.

Bought this soundbar to help improve dialogue sound in a large living room/dining room area. The sound projects great even when sitting at the far end of the table about 30ft away. Great soundbar and the smaller size is nice compared to how big most soundbars are today.

I researched several different soundbars and found it difficult to choose which one was the best. In the end I decided to get the Bose Solo 5 and man am I glad I did! Bose is the absolute leader in speakers and this soundbar does not disappoint! You must keep in mind that this is not intended to replace or compete with 5.1 surround systems. If you are looking for that loud, encompassing, movie theater experience in a large size living room then you must go with the 5.1 systems. This soundbar is intended for small rooms like a master bedroom or small apartment/condo living room. I mounted mine to the 50" TV in my master bedroom and the sound is perfectly suited for this. The bass is noticeable without being boomy, but still gives that rich Bose sound. The dialogue is very clear and although I do notice an improvement when the dialogue enhancement feature is enabled, I find that the normal setting works just fine. My Logitech Harmony One remote had no problem with adding the Bose Solo 5 and is now integrated perfectly. Highly recommended!

Bose has a great reputation which is why we bought this sound bar. We recently moved and our living room is not optimal for surround sound, so we replaced it the Bose Soto 5. Great sound quality. I was really impressed with you could actually hear the back ground noise from it. I would recommend this to anyone.

Easy to plug in and listen to sound! The speakers on the tv got busted somehow and this was a great replacement.

We’ve got this wall mounted beneath the TV (purchased separately) and the sound quality is incredible. The mount leans a little forward, but it’s not too much to complain about. The sound bar itself is just unparalleled with any audio equipment I’ve ever used. Highly recommended.

So when you see a product of Bose. you sit back and say hmm this is a good price for a Bose product..... but when you actually get the product its a little bit mis leading.... yes the price is easy and can't be passed up but for what it is it does sound decent don't get me wrong! don't expect much for listening to music (deep end bass I mean) but movies it defiantly shines and sounds great. But in the other criteria's it isn't the best. I wish you were able to connect a wireless subwoofer or even connect a wired subwoofer to it but you just can't and its unfortunate. but with that said if you don't mind the room shaking and can live without that then this is a great product! crisp sounds and clear voices!

I was skeptical as I've owned other brands in the past, but this sound bar was worth every penny. You can tone it down for general listening or up for theater sound when watching movies or listening to music and the clarity is top notch. Would highly recommend this item and would purchase another!

It certainly adds depth and base to the sound output, but could be better when it comes to the sound you would get from a center speaker. Vocals still come across as muffled. We might have to play even more with the settings to see if this can be improved.

Soundbar has great sound without any additional options, such as amplifier, base, etc.., it's Bose. Great feature where you can turn this feature on to hear dialogue clearly. Enhances your TV, especially watching movies, over the TV speaker.

TV speaker was ok and I needed better sound then the TV speaker alone. I checked all the soundbars they all sounds good, but I wanted compact with good sound quality and I found that Bose soundbar was compact with very good sound quality. I really like this soundbar for small place.

I love this soundbar, the only complaint I have about it is that it doesn't have that much bass. But other than that it's good. And for some reason it when I try to turn it on, it doesn't turn on sometimes and it just turns on the tv instead since I have it set up with the universal control that it comes with.

I have Heating loss and Bose makes tv much more understandable, only wish would be for more wattage and volume
