This is my first purchase of a Bose product. I have been impressed with the quality of this product. It was easy and simple to setup and did not take very long to get it hooked up. It has definitely improved the quality of sound with my TV. The sound bar has a light that lets you see when you are increasing the volume or when you have muted the sound. One small negative is the remote doesn't give a visual, such as a bar or number, when increasing or decreasing volume. The Bose remote will control functions on the TV and as a result I use the Bose remote about 95% of the time I am watching TV. I really like the size of the sound bar as it is relatively compact and doesn't take up as much space as many other sound bars I considered.

Even though this sound bar is small, it packs a BIG sound!! It is VERY easy to connect all of your Bluetooth devices to this sound bar. I would HIGHLY recommend this product, especially if you have a small space!!

Love the sound, only point to make clear is that it does not produce sound separation, but as I use it on my TV in the bedroom its not an important issue. Great sound from BOSE at an affordable price.

We have been looking for a sound bar system for our main TV and had been wrestling with the issues of where to put the subwoofer, and did we want to make holes in the wall to run wires & then wall mount the speakers. Then we found this unit. Tested it out in the store with all kinds of media - sports, music, movies, etc. Sound was great in the store. Bought it that night, took it home & set it up. Put the original Star Wars (Episode IV) into the DVD player & turned it up so we could get a feel for what we should expect. Bottom line - better than home, not quite the big screen, but in a 22-foot room, it's way better than expected. Fantastic for watching sports too!

If you looking for quality sound in a small package this is it. Comes with a awesome remote that can easily be programmed to run EVERYTHING. Also has Bluetooth capabilities. Great unit!

We set up the Bose Sound Bar with a Samsung TV. My husband, who is not tech savvy, had no problem following the setup directions. He set up the Bose remote so it controls both the TV and the Dish box. The sound on this sound bar is very clear. We used to have to turn the TV volume way up to understand dialogue. Now, the volume is low and the dialogue clear. I recommend turning the volume of the TV speakers off, and just have the sound bar on. There is also a setting to turn the bass down and voices up, especially good for late night. I highly recommend this sound bar.

This speaker is perfect for what I wanted. Superb sound, small so it fits in front of the TV. The remote is a universal remote and was easy to set up to the TV and easy to use.

I have an older house with brick walls and noisy fans going in the summer time. I was worried that a soundbar without a sub-woofer would sound subpar....not the case at all. It's small but sounds fantastic without having to crank up the volume. Spoken words are very clear. I wouldn't say this is the sub-woofer for you if you like your music to have a ton of base. This wont shake the walls. Also, the universal remote is AWESOME! I can control my TV, soundbar, COX satellite box, and Xbox One X.

This sound system provides fantastic sound that Bose is known for. It is very limited in that it does not have a subwoofer. Also, if you are using a more basic television, it might not have inputs needed to get the best sound. It does, though, have bluetooth for other devices to connect. Overall, I am very happy with the value for the money.

I have two of these Bose - Solo 5 soundbars. The sound is awesome, much better than the sound from the TV speakers. Plus, the soundbar is not too big like some others, and it fits nicely in front of the TV. I definitely recommend, especially if you can catch it on sale. In both TV's, I have the soundbar connected using the optical cable that comes in the box. It also has Bluetooth connectivity, so you can connect your phone for Pandora or other music apps.

Easy to install. Sound is good for watching TV. It's small but sounds the same if not better than bigger sounds bars in the same price range.

Purchased the Bose-Solo 5 TV Soundbar because the Samsung TV we purchased from Best Buy last December (9 months ago) has horrible, unclear, almost garbled,tinny sound. We only use the TV in a 10X12 room so it's a small space that doesn't require surround sound, etc. This Bose Soundbar is the perfect solution, as it provides clear, pleasing sound. Easy to set up. My omly complaint is that it's a hassle to sync the Bose remote control to the Samsung TV...so at this point, we are still using two remotes...

Bose sound bar has amazing sound for such a small footprint. Fits great in small spaces. Very easy to set up. Another hit for the magic of Bose.

I was shown this soundbar by a Best Buy Floor rep. I was looking for a smaller soundbar, not one that was 3 or 4 feet long, since for bedroom TV, and that sounded good. Listen to all types of speakers I could use, liked this Bose the best. Since I received a $25 gift card, went ahead and purchased. Sounds a lot better and louder than Samsung 4K TV. Very easy to hook up. The only thing I would like to see would be able to attach a subwoofer with it. It is supposed to be Bluetooth enable, but not with subwoofer.

I recently mounted my Samsung flat screen above the fireplace and ever since the audio was sounding garbled. I was looking for a speaker system that would help with the audio but that did not need a subwoofer. This Bose system was perfect. It was easy to setup and now the audio sounds great. In addition it was he perfect height so it got under my tv with ease. In addition you can play music on it via Bluetooth. This is a great product that I would definitely recommend.

We had purchased a new 55" Samsung TV and wanted to incorporate a sound bar with it. We had limited space for a sound bar so size was a major consideration. We felt that the Bose item was worth a try. It has totally met our expectations. Easy to set up and the sound is very good for the size of the bar.

Was looking for a single sound bar that could provide theatrical style sound without an entire surround sound speaker set up. This was my first Bose purchase so I was a little skeptical about the sound quality since it was so small and pretty expensive for what it was. After 2 months of everyday use I couldn't be happier! I will always buy Bose now the sound this tiny little sound bar puts out is incredible!. Sound quality is on par with most sound are and subwoofer systems. This sound bar puts out amazing theatrical sound in a space saving great looking package. A definite buy.

I bought this just to use in the bedroom, so I was not looking for anything expensive or flashy. The sound quality is what is expected from BOSE without a bass. The only thing I wish it had, was more bass. However, I do not need a bass to keep bumping. It enhances my tv's sound and was easy to set up. I just with that using the BOSE controller as a universal remote would be easier to use with TiVo. It works, however with Tivo's distinct features and separate menus, I have to reach for the actual remote. Not a deal breaker at all.
